Like wearing cozy sweats ... but on your feet.....

My husband purchased these boots in a size 9. They run true to boot size. He is thrilled with the comfort and warmth of the boot (he is picky). We purchased these in the Bean store because he was unsure of sizing but this boot is accurate to what size he wears. We live in snowy, cold Buffalo, NY so these boots are working out great for shoveling or just every day wear when out and about.

Totally impressed with these boots fit is perfect and very comfortable i used them for warmer weather hunting and walked all day in them with no problems

I have a lot of boots! These boots have jumped up into my top three favorite both for comfort and weight. Time will determine whether they are durable and hold up over time.

Several years ago, my mother-in-law gifted me a pair of Storm Chaser ankle pull on's. Absolutely love them. Recently I needed a new pair of a higher topped boot for motorcycle riding in the mountains. Unfortunately, the "size" had worn off the pull on's so I called L.L. Bean and they were able to find the order from a couple years ago - size 11. Ordered the Storm Chaser 5's. They are every bit as comfortable as my pull on's. Very pleased.

i have been an L.L.Bean customer for years, thus my expectations are high and these boots maintain these high standards warmth was a high priority as well as waterproofness great on both counts.

I bought these boots for a trip to the Arctic region of Norway. I planned to wear them with a pair of Bean ragg wool socks, but, for some reason the boots were too tight. I had to wear them with a pair of lightweight wool dress socks instead. No problem. During three two hour outdoor sessions above the Arctic Circle to photograph the Northern Lights, the temperatures ranged from about plus 12 deg F to minus 5 deg F. The farthest north we were was at Alta, Norway. My feet remained reasonably warm throughout. The boots provided excellent traction in packed snow and were not out of place in the towns. Highly recommended.

Great quality boot. I added shearling insoles for added warmth. I Highly recommend.

I had your similar boot with arctic grip (which did not do much good) so I ordered this new version without the arctic grip & with a 'sneaker' feel. It is more comfortable & laces up easier. I ordered after our snowy season, so I have yet to test it on snow & ice. I know it will keep my feet warm.

My boots are a perfect match with my Storm Chaser slip-ons in fit, color and style. I couldn't be any happier.

I bought a half size larger to accommodate heavy socks, and found these boots very comfortable and warm. Great in snow, and should be great in rain.

I wear a size 11 shoe but the boots were too big. Returned them for a size 10.5 which fit perfectly. Love the boots. Warm, comfortable and waterproof.

These fit well and aren't heavy. Pleased with the comfort.

The boot is a little smaller or more compact than many boots. My husband wears the same size in this boot, it just isn't as bulky as some of his heavy duty boots. They have become his everyday boots because they are so comfortable.
