These boots are very rugged and comfortable. I bought them mainly for winter use, hence I always get them 1/2 to 1 size larger for wearing heavy socks. I am extremely pleased with the boots and would order them again.

I bought a pair of LL Bean's Storm Chaser Boots 5 years ago and they are hands down the best boots I've ever owned. They are noticeably, and undeniably comfortable. These are my go-to boots for doing anything in cold weather because the rain, ice, and snow are not getting through them. I've traveled a lot in the winter to various cities where I plan to spend most of my time outside and walking, exploring and these boots I can walk in all day, for several days with absolutely nothing but comfort. Last year they were my single pair of boots I brought on a trip to Iceland and they truly delivered every day of that trip. The rubber and leather outer work great together in keeping your feet warm and dry. The tread has been good all these years from keeping me from loosing traction in rain or snow and I have yet to slip on any ice. A million percent quality, these boots.

Just bought these hours ahead of this year's first major Midwest blizzard/temp drop of the season at the LLB 10 minutes from my house. Not only did these boots fit great and perform masterfully in 12" inches of snow and low double digit temps, but they were on sale for half off. Happy chappie, here.

Hard to find wide size is comfortable. Easy on/off and nicely cushioned insole.

Second pair. Like the new lacing system, comfortable, and functional boots for winter wear (cool to cold, wet conditions, covering ground) in Texas.

Great boots for the price like the color and the warmth

Warmer was the indicated comfort level of these boots. I have used these boots to shovel snow for a few hours and they definitely kept my feet warm and dry. Comfortable to wear and the rubber outsole provided a strong grip on my icy driveway.

These boots were a gift to my Grandson. His feet would get cold, after being outside for a short time, but with your LLBean boots, he's never complained about having cold feet. Thank-you LLBean.

I love these boots. They look great and are warm and water resistant. I like that they are high above the ankle so I can walk through puddles and snow. Very happy with this purchase.

I wanted to wait a bit after purchasing these to leave a true review. That being said, I love these boots. They were comfortable for me right out of the box, fit perfectly and they're very durable. I frame and steel swimming pools every day in southwest florida and I needed a boot that was 1) comfortable 2) waterproof and 3) they needed to be very durable as I have to kick/bend rebar everyday. They've held up fantastic, even when they've had rebar snag the toe or sharp edges rub up on them they've held up 100%. Lastly, the waterproofing system on these boots are great. I've treaded 3-4 inches of water up to the tounge and stayed dry. I like them so much I even wear them outside of work on the daily now that it's cooler down here.
