Great boot for winter hiking or simply shoveling snow!

These are the most comfortable boots I own. I've never owned any type of bean boots because I was worried that they would be too narrow for my wide feet. Other reviews said that the wides were not wide enough. I typically wear a 3 or 4E, and these were perfectly wide. They feel protective but don't feel too heavy. Big fan.

These shoes are really comfy, I wore them first time for a longish strenuous hike (10 miles) and had no problems with fit. The tallness bruised my shin a little but that's because I never wear anything else but slippers and running shoes, so I'm not used to it. I'm a woman and wear 7 1/2 EE wide and these boots did not feel too long although a little longer than needed but had plenty room for my very very wide feet. I was a little worried that I'd keep bumping my toes part into rocks and roots and the like but I didn't. Perfect shoes, some warmth, and really good mud and slosh protection!

Husband really likes them - worn during our rare week of snow and below freezing weather in Georgia. Bought for Alaska trip and expect them to be warm and water resistance.

I've had these boots for a year now, very happy with them. If it's a little chilly, these are great. If it's cold, add a pair of thick socks and you are all set. Comfortable and warm and waterproof.

They fit extremely well and are very easy to tighten as you tie them

Keeps me warm and dry. A little stiff at first but then forms to feet the more you wear it. Supper comfy and I recommend this product!

I was looking for a daily wear boot for cold, wet days of winter. I have a waterproof, non-insulated lowcut shoe. I have a taller, heavily insulated boot for extreme cold. This fits in the middle, as I expected. Good look, right feel, comfortable, waterproof and right amount of insulation. Bean Boots checked all the boxes. Extremely satisfied!!

Comfortable fitting boots with some insulation. Comfortable walking in. I did add my orthotic insoles. Purchase was to replace a heavy pac that I wore for snowshoeing. These are much lighter and easier on the legs. Waiting for enough snow to put them to the test.

I'm from the Boston area and was heading to the Pacific North West to explore the Oregon coast and visit CraterLake Nat Park late October. I heard the weather was going to be inclement, rain and possible snow. Im very glsd I went to LL Bean and purchased these boots as we experienced both snow and rain. The boots are true to size, insulated and waterproof very comfortable, heavy though I highly recommend the storm chasers

Lace up boots for good fit. Warm and very water proof. Even have a bit of a heel for gaiters. Good sized heel for stability. Have the zippered version of these as well. Got these for better water proofing in streams.

I bought these for my husband. So far, he has worn them in cold weather, some snow, wet weather and indoors at work, where he can be physically active. He finds the boots to be warm, comfortable and supportive.

After ordering several different boots only to find them too narrow to get his foot in, this boot was "just perfect". The fit, comfort and weight was super. I would highly recommend this boot particularly for someone with a wide foot.

Great fit. Love this warm and comfortable boot. This fit perfectly and looks great. I wish we had more snow in NYC to wear this more often.
