My cousin had a pair and wore all over NY sightseeing...we got home and bought my husband a pair. He loves these boots!!! Says best boots he's ever had. Wish he had on our NY trip. You won't be disappointed

These boots fit great and they are very comfortable. I love them.

These boots are a bit roomy on my feet but they are very comfortable. Somehow the dimensions are such that my toes are not cramped but the rest of the boot fits perfect for hiking and walking. They are also extremely warm. So warm that if I am indoors at work my feet sweat a bit. Outdoors in the winter they are perfect. I have had them for about a month and wear them everywhere. I have not tested the waterproof feature yet so I cannot comment on that. Not cheap but high quality.

The Storm Chaser boots are rugged, warm, waterproof, and comfortable. Materials and construction are typical of L.L.Bean's high quality. Just what I needed. A great buy. The laces are very long. Need to replace them.

Bought these for XMAS for my 23 y/o son. Needed 8.5 but weren't available. So far he loves them. Warm,comfortable,waterproof! Hope they last for years

My husband works out in the weather and is on his feet for hours. The boots are warm, true to size, waterproof and comfortable. These are the second pair I have bought for him. I also bought the same boot for a family friend. A good purchase

Bought these boots as a Christmas gift for myself and I couldn't be happier. Very nice leather with plenty of cushion and they fit just as my normal sized shoe. Definitely recommend.

I used these boots on a week trip to Portland, Oregon over New Years and it pretty much rained everyday. The boots broke in very easily and kept my feet nice and dry and toasty. And LL Bean customer service was wonderful because they were out of stock online but had a pair in the main retail store in Freeport. They pulled them from the store and shipped them in a couple of days so I had them in plenty of time for my trip.

My husband loves them and wears them quite frequently.

Very light weight walking boot with good traction.

I have not yet tested performance in snow and ice but I am pleased with quality and fit. Although a bit too wide for my narrow foot, it is fine with thick socks.

So happy I got these boots. Perfect for wearing anywhere. They don't look or feel like heavy outdoor boots - have good support - and they just look good.

Excellent boot for Maine winters; this pair replaces an earlier LLB model boot [RBLT...rubber bottom/leather top] after many years. This Storm Chaser has already earned its keep while shoveling or blowing snow; feet stay warm along with thick LLB wool socks.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He works outside and is on his feet alot. He said these shoes are so comfortable and keep his feet dry.

I finally battle tested the boots in the snow and ice of Northern NY. At first, I thought that they might be a little heavy. As it turns out, the longer I wore them, the lighter they felt. I have a somewhat narrow foot and find that a heavier sock is warranted.

LL Bean has these boots in women's and I ditto the comments on light weight, warm enough and lace up nicely. We majorly need these in black and wide widths for men to wear to work under black dress pants. Work has become casual and most of us can wear a boot like this all day despite the dress code. But men need black and all bean boots need to come in at least EE. Very few do and if they do the wide sizes are always gone! One comment says the boot fits narrow ankle and leg, does this run narrow meaning we need EEE to fit a EE foot? Anyone with EE foot find the D works? In Wisconsin except for the past week, a person would live in these boots during winter months. Stock at our new store so one can try for fit and you will sell tons! No gray, brown and black, just all black please! Some of us wear your boots for things other than hiking, ie we need to look somewhat coordinated color wise.

Surprised at the springiness of these for being boots. I actually had to get used to walking in them because they were so springy and light on the foot. Not what I expected in a boot. A pleasant surprise.

I live in the Midwest, and during the winter months, I was looking for a good boot that was warm, comfortable and would provide the necessary traction while walking in snow during my morning walks. I ordered this boot because I thought it would accomplish this, and I have not been disappointed. In fact, I ordered another pair for our other home in MN when we travel north from Iowa. My three-to-five mile morning walks are sacred, and I now have a trusted 'companion' with me during the cold winter months! I have both boot colors.

Warm, very comfortable, durable and lighter than my traditional Bean Boots. They also seem to have slightly less volume than the Bean Boots which is great for my skinny foot and ankle. They have become daily wear for me. Typical LLB great quality and value.

I bought these boots for my husband since he travels up north frequently for business. He loves them. They keep his feet warm. He is on his feet a lot and he says they are very comfortable.

I find it tough to find a boot that is easy to put on, take off and feels comfortable. This boot does it all. Great job LL Bean. Don't change the mold!
