I bought my normal shoe size and wasn't able to get my foot in the boots. I'm going to exchange them and try a larger or wider size.

Could not get my left foot into boot. Was able to get boot on right foot but no way could I close zipper. Way undersized. Appeared to be a nice boot tho.

Very nice boots BUT they were too narrow. Forced to purchase another brand, very disappointed.

Nice looking boots and was going to wear them in the recent snow storms but it was a real struggle to get them on, even with the zipper. Ordered them in size 11, my normal shoe size.

Wore the boots with a sock liner and a pair of alpaca wool socks and went ice fishing in Wyoming. After 1 hour on the ice my toes were ice cold. I would like to return them. Would not recommend to anyone.

Bought the boots on Tuesday. Put them on once in the store to check fit. Put them on again at home that same day. The next day, I put them on to go to the club and they were comfy and warm. Sitting in the club, another member noticed them as asked about them. He asked about the insulation and comfort. I took off the left boot to show him and noticed I could see white, which was the insulation, peaking out from the brown lining. Closer inspection revealed that the fabric was tearing at a seam. The seam was holding, but the thread was tearing the fabric. Looked at the other boot and same thing, only not quite as bad.
I had noticed that my foot did not easily slip into the boots. It is that dragging of my heel on the back of the boot lining fabric that strains the lining and is causing it to tear. I'm returning them today. The boot lining should have been made from a stronger, more durable material and with a single piece of fabric down the back instead of a horizontal seam about half-way down. I also think that since the boot does not open up far enough to allow an easy slip-on, there should be a leather or similar wide strip of material from the back of the collar to the heel of the boot to allow the heel of the foot to glide down and into the boot. Too bad they made them this way because otherwise, it's a very nice boot for the money. Made in Viet Nam was a disappointment, too. I buy LL Bean boots because they are made in the USA.

Boots are comfortable once you get them on. Very hard to put on if you have large ankles. The zipper split after wearing them only three times. Think twice!

Couldn't pull them on if my life depended on it as the opening wasn't wide enough and the customer service rep said it would be the same with any size I ordered.

Buying a pair of expensive boots lasts along time but deteriorates over time between the rubber and the leather.

These boots are not near as warm as my quarter century old previous iteration. Matriel seems thinner and poorly insulated. Going with a thin flap rather than a gusset inside the zipper means they'll tear out at the bottom of the zipper with repeated use. Around here we call 'em "beer boots".May I return the at the North Conway outlet or must I make a trip to Freeport?

I bought these boots a couple of years ago. I really loved the way they fit, wore, and preformed in wet conditions. I have and do own several pairs of Bean boots. I have had one pair resoled, worn out from the bottom never had an issue. The side zip boots in question as I said were great to start with. I only wear these at certain times during the winter. The tops of the boots have started cracking and chipping off. This is very disappointed since the uppers and soles are fine. NOT what I would expect from LL Bean.

I ordered a size 13 in this boot and Zappos sends me a size 9.5. This is terrible service by Zappos and now the size I ordered is no longer available.

Boot is fine. I bought it in a size that really is too small. I can't get it on wearing a sock!

These boots were for my husband. The zipper continuously got caught in the leather, which is unfortunate because they are good looking. Am returning these.

Did not fit. I am a size 9 & 1/2. I normally order a size 10 for comfort due to a high arch. I ordered a size 10 and could not begin to put on this boot.

I bought these boots in December 2022 and wore them for the next two months when it snowed. During this current winter, I've only worn them the few times it has snowed but my toes get completely soaked from snow leaking through (I think) the seams by the toes. I had a previous pair (when they cost less than $90) purchased under the old return policy that did start coming apart at the seams. But that took five years and I was able to return them to LL Bean under the old policy.

Over priced and creased when shipped from not being packaged properly. The crease rubs on my ankle. I don't recomend unless you buy from the store and they are still overpriced for the quality.

I wanted these boots to work out well. I was very excited to try them. I loved the fact that they were slip on and thus would take less time to throw on than my original lace up Bean boots. Unfortunately I had to return them the day I got them because I couldn't even get my foot in through the top. I am a size 10.5 and confirmed I had been sent a 10.5, but these things were impossible to put on. As such, I can't even team you how the fit was. Without a 12" shoehorn, I cannot see how I would have been able to wear these. It's a shame, I really liked how these looked & functioned.

I have had a pair of these for a few years and the seams and soles are separating and per LL Beam, no options for repair. Obviously will not be buying again. Unable to add a photo.
