Looked like a great product, and when they arrived I was pleased with their condition, But: Ordered 11.5 my LLBean shoe size as suggested. Couldn't get my foot into them unzipped, wide open with my lightest socks. Exchanged for size 12, still woefully undersized. Finally could get my toes to the bottom, but that's it. I gave up and bought another dealer's boot.

This is the second pair of these I have owned the first were the 10 inch with elastic side I wore them daily from October thru April for 3 years and finally wore them out and really loved them so for Christmas 2024 my wife brought me a new pair with the zipper on the side I started wearing them January 2025 thru April then started again in October by December both zippers have failed I was able to fix the right but the left is a lost cause very disappointing for $170 boots

Boots are lower quality than the prior version and I wanted a zipper which allows for easy on and off while shoveling snow or other winter activities. Disappointed and returned them.

Bought these after the zippers broke in my husband's previous pair after long use. Two and a half years in, lightly used, the left one leaks all around the front edge. We've tried barge cement at the seam but it's still leaking. Disappointing - we've always counted on Bean for durability. I still have some boots from 1974!

Bought these 5 years ago and they started to leak at the seam on both boots on the little toe sides after 3 years of moderate use. I am a gal who bought a men's 5 and they were perfect. Will try super glue to see if that will fix. Otherwise, skeptical on replacing, although I see no men's 5 offered anymore. May try the woman's...again skeptical.

This is a handsome looking boot. Upon closer inspection, flaws and imperfections around the seam where leather upper and the rubber boot meet. Looks like the typical, average quality textile manufacturing from outside the U S . Also, at 58yo I have worn 9.5D my entire adult life. I couldn't at all get my foot inside past the upper. This was likely a size smaller than it was labeled. We would expect better quality and fit for a boot from LL Bean. However, it was an easy return.

Boots are nice and warm and fit good for walking but zipper broke after wearing about 6 times. Zipper is cheaply made considering its a $150 boot.

They're comfortable but not waterproof. Wet grass gets my feet wet. Not even close to the quality of real bean boots.

Boots appear to be well made. My issue is with the fit. I started with the zip-up version of this boot but had to return them since, even with the correct size, they were difficult to get on with zipper fully unzipped. Then once my foot was in the boot the fit was quit loose with no ankle support, which was the point of getting boots compared to a mock. With the lace up version I can get my foot in ok, but when tightening the laces the lace rings come all the way together until they touch. Meaning I can just barely get proper ankle support now when the boots are new, but once the leather stretches at all there will be no ankle support. I ordered D width and m feet and ankles are normal (no issue with my Merelle and Hi Tek boots. These boots are clearly cut for people with swollen ankles or two or the layers of socks (but then it will be difficult to get your foot in not to mention overheating)

Ordered a 9 and a 9 1/2 hoping one would fit since I wear a size 9 shoe. Couldn't even get my foot in either boot to try on?

If I could order again, I would go up two sizes from my regular work shoes! Almost all footwear ordered online runs small? These boots seem to be well made. All I did was try them on and then started return.

Far from a warm boot. Even above 30 my feet would get cold if i happened to walk in some snow or slush.

These boots look nice and are comfy but fail the warmth test when walking briefly through slushy conditions. My toes feel the coldness even when temperatures are above freezing which is when snow turns slushy. After one week, I know these boots are not for me. Having cold feet in 40-degree weather is unacceptable for a
$150 winter boot.

Beautiful in color and design..HOWEVER my husband wears a size 10 in anything we buy...he was unable to get his foot into the zippered boot! SOO DISAPPOINTED!! It was just what he wanted ..and could use with a bad hip. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS and bring back a style like this made better.

I have a moderately wide foot (12EE), but I couldn't get my foot into the boot at all. Even with the zipper open open, I wasn't able to get past the bend in the boot. I returned the boots to the store, and when I told the salesperson why I was returning them, she said, "A lot of people have that problem with these boots."

These boots were too small. They were also too. difficult for my husband to put on. He will be exchanging them for the lace up boots in a larger sy.

Boot size was good but, even with wool socks, the boot around the ankle allowed my foot to flop around inside. I sent them back and requested the tighter slip-on with no zipper but haven't heard anything since.

I haven't purchased them yet, my problem, I'm looking for a boot that will fit my artificial leg. I thought the boot with a zipper on the side would give me room. I wear a 71/2 wide men's shoe. I'm still new to this one leg missing thing and it's hard to find boots. Last year I got frost bite on my foot wearing tennis shoes to shovel snow.

Look nice, too tight to get on easily. Had to order 1 1/2 size up. Returned 2nd time. Couldn't go larger or heel would've kept popping up.

Average build quality. Liner is not secure and wrinkles will form. Zipper and pulls are setup so it is still tough to get these on your foot. No good for anyone with mobility or tactile limitations.

My husband loved these boots, and can no longer wear them. The inside of one boot literally separated, and he can't slide his foot in without a lot of extra effort, it's hard to do. These should've last a lot longer. They were wearable for about 2 seasons. I plan to contact the company. I know in the past these would've been exchanged with no problem, but with the changes to the return policy, I have no idea know what to expect.

I only put these boots on when I have to shovel snow. They are not a good walking around boot because they don't breath and my feet sweat profusely in them. The days I've tried to wear them to run errands my feet are soaking wet after half a day.
