Not only did this boot not fit (I went a full size down), the stitches that connected the leather and rubber was coming apart and would have definitely let liquid through. I returned these boots over 2 weeks ago and have not been refunded yet, and on the website it says refunds take 5 weeks to process. That is way too long.

The boot is fine although the fit is no good. I wear an 11 1/2 to 12 in shoes, sneakers etc, I went by your sizing chart & ordered a 12. It is far too big. I called two local Bean stores (Freehold NJ & Paramus NJ) & neither store has them in stock. I will have to have a size smaller sent to one of the local stores have the new pair sent there & exchange them.

Ordered these as a birthday present for myself. These would be my 4th pair of Bean Boots and with them being my first pair being lined I ordered my regular shoe size and they were way too big. Even if the boots fit I would have had to exchange them due to the stitching of the tongue coming apart. Was really disappointed in the quality as my others have been great and have held up well, except for the pair I spilled acid on and burned a hole in. Hopefully the replacement will be better. Guess my birthday present will be after the fact. I will reply with an update once I receive my replacement.

I have owned this boot for about 10 months. I use them almost everyday all year to walk our two beagles who like to get off the beaten track. They fit great right from the start, protected my feet from getting moist, and my feet never got too hot or too cold in either the Virginia summers or winters. The problem is this boot literally fell apart at the seams in less than a year. On both boots, the seam between the leather portion and the weatherproof portion just came completely undone. Not what I expected from a high-quality LL Bean product.

Received one that had a torn rubber front and looked like it was worn and returned. Now missing it on the first ski trip of the season! Bummed. Hoping the next one comes inspected.
