Brought these for my 16yo son for Christmas. I've been wearing them since high school, on and off. He is usually a 9 1/2 in sneakers. Bought him a 9, he says they are good. Highly recommend !

Excellent boots super comfortable. I wear a 13 in most boots and a 14 in most sneakers. A size 12 in these fits me perfect even with thicker socks. Go smaller and thank me later.

Boots are perfect. fit is true to size and comfortable. Haven't had a pair for a long time, and I'm glad I decided to spend the extra money to get these again!

When paired with a nice thick wool sock, this boot fits perfectly. I'm normally a 10, but bought a 9 and it fits great. Definitely size down. They are designed to be worn with thick socks. I was SWIMMING in a 10. Good quality, good full grain leather, nice lining material. Would definitely recommend.

After many years looking at other brands I decided to give these a try....am I glad I did! very comfortable..warm and built like you would expect from LL Bean! I can honestly say I won't ever buy another pair of boots from the competitors!

The softness of the Tumbled-leather made these boots feel like I've worn them for years. I wear a size 10 wide, so I was worried that the boot would be too narrow. The fit however, was perfect. I tried them on as recommended, with a pair of rag wool socks and also ended up having the proper thumb width space between my toes and the end of the boot. Could not be happier with my purchase.

Unfortunately, the boot was too large, but of fabulous quality. Had to return them because they were too large for my foot. Really hated to return them.

Love this boot and after a few years of use I was ready to get a new sole. I unfortunately learned that this boot is a special edition and cannot be resoled. While that is unfortunate and I am sure there are reasons for it, maybe that should be displayed on the product page. If I had known this I would have went with the original Bean Boot so I could repair them and use them for years to come.

Waited a couple months until the boot was restocked in my size. It was worth the wait. The tumbled leather is comfortable out of the box. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 - 11 shoe so I ordered a size 10 and the fit was perfect. I am very pleased with these boots.

There are plenty of options out there but if you don't want to do the typical "try and fail" process of finding a functional boot for good or bad weather........just buy the Bean boot.

I normally wear a 13 but since 13 was out of stock I thought I would give a 12 a chance and they fit perfect. I would say they run about a 1/2 size large. I have not worn these out in the elements yet but I am sure they will function as intended.

Very comfortable & warm boots, I do wear them with thick socks so the 13 fit me well!

These boots are clearly sized to be worn with fairly thick socks, but I got them for winter, so that's OK. Even so, I normally wear a size 12 and these are a bit long, but that doesn't make them difficult to wear or walk in at all. SOOOOOO glad I finally bought a pair of genuine Bean Boots!!

I normally wear 8 1/2 to size 9 footwear. After reading numerous reviews I ordered the size 8 and it fits perfectly. This is my first pair of LL Bean boots. I expect it to be the same quality as other products I have purchased in the past and still use. Thankful for LL Bean.

Got these for my 14yr son for xmas but I gave them to him early. He doesn't like to take them off. He says they are warm and very comfortable. Would recommend these boots to anyone. Money well spent.

I've worn a non-insulated version of these boots everyday when I take my dogs out for their morning walk through the woods near our house. A pair lasts me 10 years, I've had 4 dogs,but this is only my third pair of boots. I love the non insulated boots so much I decided to buy an insulated pair for the winter. The cold arrived early this year ( Mid-November, 2019) we had 11 degree mornings the past two days. The boots were very comfortable, I had no issues with the cold seeping in like I do with the non insulated pair. Would buy again, but probably won't need to for about 15-20 years. I live in St Louis, Mo.

I bought these must have boots for my son when he went to Rochester, NY for college... from Miami, FL. He's raving about them and I'm not surprised. I got my first pair when I started school in Boston and I wouldn't buy any other boot over these. They've never failed to keep out the water or snow. Pull them on and just go. Leon Bean knew the formula for perfect boot a century ago and it has definitely stood the test of time.

I was quick to snag these up since I had the apple cinnamon chamois flannel, and I absolutely love them! However, I did get a pair of the L.L. Bean boot socks so they were very comfortable and cozy 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I purchased these for my husband. I have a pair and love them. He particularly wanted one of the Bean traditional chain tread soled boots. I'm writing on his behalf, because he doesn't write reviews. He said they're extremely comfortable. I love the plaid chamois lining - the women's version is just a solid color. He ordered a size down as was recommended, and they're a perfect fit. We both love LLBean boots (and everything else they sell)!
