Quality product but the fit is too large There should be a more accurate size chart. I am keeping them anyway because of the $6.95 return shipping charge.

For the most part the slipper is well made and comfortable except for the placement of the manufacturer's tag, a hard, sharp cornered synthetic material. The tag's placement at the intersection of the insole and slipper side at mid arch is often uncomfortable. I'm hoping it softens or I'll have to cut bot of them out. If not for the tag it would be a 5.

Don't have an accurate rating yet because they will be a Christmas gift for me. At my wife's suggestion we went together so I could try on and pick out what I wanted Many years ago bought a great pair sold at Bean's - made in Canada. They wore well and finally wore out. Haven't had much luck in recent years - quality hasn't been the same. The employee was very helpful and patient as I tried several options. He certainly knew his stock. I am hoping these slippers will measure up to those I used to have.

I have owned the Bean double bison hide sole shearling slippers for 10 years. Love them. I'm am 11.5 and those slippers fit closely with no socks in 11. I wanted a different pair with more durable soles that I could wear more often throughout the weekend WITH socks - slip on to go down the stairs to cook or do laundry in the concrete basement, etc. Tried to size up to 12 but these were too long. I tightened the laces to the max but my heel still slipped around as I walked. The lining was quite plush and the sole was what I was looking for. I figured the moose hide would be stiffer (more like the leather pair I already own) but it was actually quite soft for coming from such a large animal. Some people might prefer that, but I like a little heftier feeling around my feet. Returned to the store - the search continues.

Good: Great quality leather. Very stylish. Warm and comfortable. Bad: Moccasins wears too fast. The heals were worn out, bare, barely a year of owning it.

I like the look. The lining is comfortable. Normally I wear a 9 but was too big. Sent it back for an 8 and it's still plenty roomy. I don't like where they've sewn in a tag inside of both shoes. The tag is scratchy and unnecessary.

What an unnecessarily stupid and unfortunate tag placement! These are the most comfortable slippers I've ever tried on, EXCEPT for the stiff, point tags on both slips that jab me right in the soft spot of my foot's arch. You couldn't put that tag somewhere else? You might have well as just put a thumb tack there that sticks my foot every time I put the slipper on. Ok, I can cut them out, but if the tag stub still jabs my foot or the slipper gets damaged cutting these out, they're coming back.

I looked forward to the slippers based upon the quality of other LLBean products in the past...Slippers do not hold the mold of my feet very well.

The moosehide moccasins are not walking shoes or outdoor shoes. They are roomy, floppy bedroom slippers. There is no arch support or heel support. However, they are comfortable, warm shoes to wear around the house. The shoes tend to run large and wide. For hanging around the house, they are fine, but do not think that you are going to look stylish. I am 75 years old, and these shoes look like they are made for someone my age.

Heel fur lining wore too fast exposing the heel stitching of the leather. The stitching cased serious irritation on the back of the heel to the point where I could not wear the slippers anymore.

well made but their sizing is off.... I ordered a size up and way too large and I've always been a med. width; these are way too tight.

The reason I am returning the slippers is that there is annoying tag inside the slippers and I was afraid to remove it as I thought it might damage the slippers. I don't know why anyone would put a tag like this inside a pair of slippers.

I guess I didn't look close enough at photo when I ordered these; thought these were the same ones my husband has worn for years. Previous had metal grommets around the shoe and where the leather lace ties. Gave it a nice styling. Currently eyelets (holes in leather)instead of grommets. Soles were dark colored and now are unappealing tan color which does not compliment the leather, nor does the tan lacing around the toe area instead of the beautiful stitching. Although the fleece is worn, the leather still brings up a beautiful shine, dark laces are still beautiful and the overall stitching perfect. These were beautiful and well made. So husband has chosen to keep the old ones (3 old pair so far!)ordered a fleece foot bed insert and will make do with his beautifully made "old style" moccasins. We do realize this review is personal preference and not a criticism of shoe for sale. Sometimes change is not progress. We'll still be LL Bean shoppers as always. But we sent them back and bemoaned the loss of the classic and so gave it 3 stars.

I might have given you a better review... but... you are asking me to review a product that you did not send. It is on back order until March. It seems that you know how to make an already unsatisfied customer even more disillusioned with your company. My wife, however, seems to love hers. Thanks for that, at least.

They're well made and good looking, but there is not enough support. After standing in the kitchen on a wood floor making my feet and back were quilte sore. Returned them

They just look cheap. Giant tags sewn inside are irritating when wearing. Why in the world would you manufacture these with those big rough tags placed in that position?

I wear these lightly around the house, only indoors, and not very often. The stitching started unraveling, in my second winter if wearing them. The leather is pretty good quality, but I would expect much more durability from $100 slippers. Very disappointed!

love the slipper, but I'm between sizes. 11 too small, 12 too big. Can never understand how 50 percent of potential customers are ignored.

Literally the best shoes. I love them. Then these guys put a label right in the arch of my foot. It makes it unbearable to wear. I can already see I will have to try and remove but they are stitched in to the actual build of the shoe. It's just so frustrating, I don't want to be typing this, I totally feel like sending back, but it's just not about the dollars for me, so I have to try to remove that label and fear if I don't get it all it will be worse. It's like taking a wildly great item and sticking a lemon in it. I can not help it but actually be mad at L. L. Bean for this atrocity!

Does not fit well as the previous two pair and are not as comfortable.

I am wearing these shoes right now. They are poorly sewn and misshapen. I would never buy another pair, especially at the price.

I purchased these slippers in December of 2019 and they have been falling apart since about a year after that. I have tried fixing it with glue but it does not work. I believe they were defective from the start because the of the lack of stitching to body.
