Really like these shoes. I have flat feet and also require a wide fit and these shoes felt great right out of the box. I highly recommend these shoes for work or hiking.

This lightweight hiking shoe is great if you don't like heavy boots and you crave a lower price. This shoe fit well and was comfortable out of the box and cost less than $100. You can't go wrong with this shoe.

Salesman indicated sizes run small. I tried the next half size. Comfortable and performs well.

I'm a guy who HATES shopping. HATE. Despise. Can't stand. And I've been in LL Bean's before and not found much to change my mind, but on my last trip to one of their stores, I found THESE SHOES. Wow. They are soooooo comfortable. And they're in blue. Almost all hiking shoes are earth tones, and that's not bad, but just always browns or tans or yellow-browns, etc., so finally finally FINALLY we have a blue hiking shoe. It's not some crazy florescent blue but a nice normal blue. These shoes are comfortable, they look nice, they do their job (good for walking!), and the price was reasonable. :-)

LOVE these shoes! Great traction (used when working on the roof). Comfortable, and nicer looking than in the catalog.

The last pair was very comfortable and durable. The only yip is the stitching that came loose at the toe top. My second pair has redesigned stitching. Time will tell about the stitching issue. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the shoes. I wear a size 12w and hard orthotic.

I ordered this shoe to take with me to the Alpine country in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. I used them for day time walks and short mountain hikes. They performed very well and was a good choice for light day hikes.

Wore them on cross country flight, through two five mile hikes in State of Washington and while touring Seattle to "break them in". I was very pleased with comfort, durability and appearance. Too bad everything else I needed was "back ordered"

Have not bought this ll bean shoe for a long time. Why? Because they're so well made, long lasting and comfortable. I still have my old ones, but it just seemed like a good time to renew my relationship with a new pair in a new color that caught my eye. They're just as good as ever. No regrets. No complaints.

As usual, the L.L.Bean product I purchased was an excellent buy. The shoe fit, was comfortable, and was great to hike and walk in. Good price as well.

This is my 3rd pair in 2 years. Well made and offers superb support. I walk in these 6-9 miles per day, 6 days/ week and extensive mountain hiking. The uppers never wear out and the soles offer excellent traction under all conditions aside from snow/ice. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I don't like ordering shoes because the potential for fit issues is large. I wear size 11. All my shoes are size 11. I ordered size 11 and these shoes fit perfectly and were thoroughly comfortable out of the box. The second time I put them on I spent six hours on my feet on a concrete floor and never thought of my feet. Total comfort. They were designed for rough trail hikes. I bought them for rough work around the house and yard. They seem well suited to either mission with an aggressive tread disign to ensure traction on uncertain terrain. Their materials and construction quality both seem to be high so I anticipate enjoying them for quite awhile and I do recommend them.

These are good walking shoes. I have a pair with Gortex and they are good climbing but can be a bit too tight on a long walk. These are great if you wear comfortable socks as well. I noticed I need a size larger in a LLB shoes despite the fact that my old ones fit perfectly at a smaller size. LLB must have charged the production stats.

I wear a half-size, so initially purchased a size down; ended up exchanging them (very easy process, accelerated by a delightful PERSON by PHONE) for a size up. Great fit, great shoe, at a great price. It's tough to beat LL Bean's quality, service, and value.

I have purchased several of this collection over the years. I currently have 5 in different colors and "heights". They are comfortable, provide stability, are a reasonable price and have just the right of styling that suits me. I only wish more colors would be available. Why isn't there a black pair, for example? Otherwise, I fully recommend the series.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Sizing is good. One week after buying these shoes I found myself on a 7 mile hike in the Catskills with friends. The shoes were comfortable all day. I was impressed. I recommend these shoes.
