Over 60 years of using LL Bean products I have come to expect excellence. These hiking shoes lived up to and exceeded those expectations. After walking in them for a couple of minutes, I knew they were both the most comfortable shoes I have owned and that they will be great for our upcoming vacation, which will involve a lot of walking. I have since also used them for boating, where they provided not only comfort but very good footing. I have ordered a pair for my wife.

These shoes are comfortable, the breath so that your feet don't get overly hot, and they support your feet for all day activity.

I walk roughly 3-4 miles per day, and these boots keep my feet in good shape. Also, I would definitely recommend these boots.

These are a replacement for the same shoes purchased at least 5 years ago. So glad that they are still available - they are the most comfortable casual shoes that I've found. I hope that they are still available when I wear this pair out!

Well-ventilated, they keep my feet cleaner and cooler than sandals, dried quickly even though the raft flipped.

These are light weight, ventilated and good looking. Offer great support, especially for me 6'2. Fit is true to size and the price is right on. My first pair haven't worn out after two years, but I want to make sure I had a back up!

A good shoe for anything from (light) trails to city streets during warm-hot weather. Good arch support which I very much need, and good lateral support. The ventilation is very helpful in hot weather. No surprise, but these are not good in the rain or wet conditions. They look good, too. No complaints and I would likely buy them again.

My husband loves these and re-orders them every 6 months. What better recommendation is there?
