These slippers look great but they won't last very long. I wore mine around the house most days for less than a year before the stitching busted open and the leather wore completely through. By the time I'd worn them for 12 months, most of the leather had worn away completely. This is just from wearing them for light duty around the house. I expected a lot better quality from LL Bean and I wouldn't recommend these to anyone who plans to wear them for more than a few months.

This pair of slippers has hard, stiff, inflexible leather, The fit is sloppy. The fit and leather quality is totally different from the LL Bean slippers I've purchased in the past. This purchase was for the 3rd pair of LL Bean slippers I have had over the years. The leather of the previous was soft and supple, the fit tight at first so that the slippers soon comfortably formed around the feet. Given the satisfaction I've had with the previous slippers, these new slippers are disappointing.

The leather soles are extremely slippery on rugs/carpets; dangerous to wear - like walking on ice. Am returning mine as soon as possible.

I'm a 10.5 shoe size but they only offer whole sizes so you have to guess to go half size up or half size down... Here's the shocker... the 10 was too small and the 11 was too big! Big hassel and inconvenience to figure out the obvious.

A total waste of money. They look great but the fit is terrible and the bottom is so slick it's hard to wear them on carpet !

Both of my sons love these mocs. They change into them after work each day and wear them to the store even when walking the dogs! I replace them every two years at Christmas.

This is without a doubt the biggest disappointment in a shoe purchase EVER! And probably my last pair from Bean .

Returning these. Very stiff leather, very narrow shoe. My husband couldn't get it anywhere near 'on'. Nicely made but not comfortable with leather that stiff.

That the bottom is so smooth it is slippery to walk on tile floors. We tried to put anti-skid patches on them and they wouldn't stay so now the soles are sticky. We're going to try to get the sticky off with sandpaper. What a mess and they were very expensive for a house slipper!! They were a birthday present for my husband.

I purchased these same slippers in 2017. The soles started to get worn so I purchased another pair. The new slippers were not the same quality as the first ones. The soles had NO cushion at all. And the craftsmanship of the sewn leather was so poor that the left slipper deformed to the point I couldn't wear it. I then tried on my old slippers and they were comfortable and looked way better than the new ones that were worn for only one month. For the price I paid this is the lowest value purchase I have made in a long time.

A quality product; they look good and are well-made. I am returning them for two reasons. 1. They are TREACHEROUS when new, due to the smooth leather soles. Within the first 5 minutes of trying them on I slipped and would have fallen down a flight of stairs had I not stopped the fall by grabbing on to the railing. The soles should have some traction out of the box... it would take a long time to scuff them sufficiently, especially if worn only indoors. 2. Since they are more like casual shoes than slippers, half sizes and choice of width would be helpful. I could have used a half-size smaller and a wider width. The slipper was too loose at the heel and too tight around my foot.

I love LL Bean first of all and have never had a problem with their products until I was gifted these slippers This is the first slipper I have ever taken care of as soon as I past the one year warranty mark I notice that there is a loose seam and the leather is starting to rip away customer service would not even help me I have always known LL Bean to last and I never leave bad reviews but the LL Bean slippers have left me fairly disappointed

Really warm and comfortable. The bottom leather sole is really a poor design. The leather sole ended up with holes in the bottom. Better idea is to add a rubber sole. I ended up throwing them out along with my $109.00 I paid for them!

You only offered 1 width, D "Medium". When I received them they looked like clown shoes that were 3 sizes too wide. Then, you charged me $6.50 just to return them. Who does that?

These were given to me after I had looked high and low for a mocassin style slipper. They were comfortable. The laces are too thick and very hard to keep tied. The failure is the leather that is the bottom sole. It is thinner than glove leather and wore out on both slippers . The description says years of use but my experience is that is a very limited number of years or with very little use. My house is carpeted.

not a product I could recommend. I purchased these to replace a pair I'd bought in the 80's or early 90's. No comparison in quality, fit or manufacturing. Definitely not worth the expense.

There must have been a thin spot in the leather under the heel because, with only indoor use, there is a hole after 7 months. I put some goop glue on them to fill the hole and will glue a piece of real full grain leather over the heel. Is this a one off failure or a sign of the times.

These slippers made in El Salvador look great upon arrival, after gentle wear indoors on carpet they wore out in 7 months! Don't waste your good money, this is not the L.L. Bean of a few years ago, products are not of a good quality, shop elsewhere, even if you have to spend a little more.

They are advertised as full thickness leather . The fiirst of the double soles wore through in 6 months and was less than .060 thick. When returned I was informed that they are only for light use - 2 hours a day ! So no refund . Beware. Beware !

The "Seam" in the middle of the foot bed is sown on the sides but not going across the middle. The leather is curling up inside in that area. Also, I ordered up on the size and they are too loose. Also the string going across the top of my foot inside is irritating. Not what I hoped for, based on the price. Will probably return, when COVID allows me to feel comfortable doing so.

First pair I owned lasted over 40 years. New pair lasted less then two years. Threading came apart and leather sole wore through. These were used primarily in the house. Very poor quality.
