These are the longest lasting slippers I've ever had. They are well worth the money, and I'm back after ten years for another pair. However, they come with some kind of coating on the soles, which is deathly slippery. That coating should be removed before you begin wearing the slippers. A five star product, but subtracting one star for the incredibly slippery soles; these are a lawsuit in the making.

This is the second pair of these shoes I've bought. I wear them often inside and out in warm weather. I glue leather patches on them when I wear holes in them. I would buy them more often but the price is prohibitive and they never go on sale.

I like these slippers very much. I've worn several brands of the fuzzy lined, rough out leather slippers and found that they didn't wear as well as I hoped. These slippers I wear with or without socks, inside or even outside in the yard. They're easy to slip on and off, yet stay on my feet, and I look forward to enjoy these for a long time.

Comfortable, but not sure if the quality will hold up like most LLB products I've purchased the past 30 years. Happy with the product none the less.

They are nice, you will like them. They are expensive; my wife bought them for me. I wear 11 and ordered 11; with sweat socks there is no wiggle room; but that is OK.

Well made slippers. The only thing I would improve would be to add yet another layer of leather on the inside, around the heel area. I bought some simple insoles at a supermarket, and they gave me the extra bit of padding I needed for walking in the slippers.

These mocs with leather sole are just what I wanted....soft leather sole, slightly cushioned insole. Sturdy, rugged, but classy, too.

I am picky about slippers and needed a pair that I could use during cold and warm weather (reference - the 4-season climate in northern NY). The leather-lined double-sole slippers offered by LLBean seemed to fill the bill, based on description, and after having worn a pair for about a month, I can affirm that they are just fine for winter wear, anyway. The initial slick-slippery character mentioned in other reviews was limited to carpeted floors and disappeared after about a week - never a problem on hardwood flooring. The slippers feel as though they have little arch support, but I've never had a problem with mine and I have one high arch and one flat foot to challenge the pair. A minor complaint - I'd prefer that they come in half sizes as my 9s are a bit large for my 8.5 shoe size. That's a very minor problem in winter (now) as I wear socks with them, but warm weather wear may be different. Also, being leather lined, they are not warm to put on bare feet, hence my use of socks in winter. Bottom line - a very good choice in my mind and I plan to pick up another pair to wear at my camp.

Info indicates half size to size up....big mistake. These slippers run very large and should size down. Ordered down to a size 8 and still was very large. So large had to re-order to size 7 which fits nicely. The quality of the slipper is very good which makes up for the hassle of returning.

I was replacing leather slippers that were 20 years old that were purchased from LLBean. He loves the slippers and smiles each time he slips them on.

Very comfortable slippers but was expecting them to be a bit more rugged.

Ordered my usual size and received size 12. Much too large. Returning for size 11. Looking forward to getting these moccasins on my feet. DTR

Good looking, comfortable, but watch the sole, they are slick on bottom. You may want to scuff them before wearing. While I wear a 10.5, I had to go down to a 10 instead of up to an 11.

I really liked the quality of this slipper. I ordered it in my normal shoe size and it was way too big. I sent back with instructions to replace it with the size 7 but this was ignored. They did refund the money but but there was no effort to send the smaller size.

I purchased a pair of these 10 years ago and wore them out. Since I loved the older ones I ordered another pair. These are far stiffer than the older ones even when they were new. I'm not sure if the leather treating has changed but I surely miss the older ones.

Great slippers. last bought a pair in the 80's and they lasted until now. One small problem though with the new pair, the leather around the heel of one of the slippers is so soft that every time I put them on it folds down and I have to reach down and straighten it out.

Pleased with purchase, nothing much more to say. Good product for the price. Rating 'fit' is tough because of swelling problem. Some days it fits perfectly, other days it's a bit to snug or to large.

I have had the forerunner to these shoes for probably a decade. They are still serviceable but toe stitching is coming loose and the wonderful grippy soles are wearing quite thin. Thus, I tried the "new" version. I did go up a 1/2 size as others had noted - 10.5 to 11. They fit fine and am sure over time will form fit my feet. That being said, the smooth as ice leather soles are a bit to get used to/worn in. Initially, I literally could slide across the carpet. They are fine on linoleum/tile etc. Day three of ownership has shown improvement and I have decided to keep vs. return. These shoes are manufactured in El Salvador as were my earlier ones. Bring back the grippy soles and I'll order another pair. For now, these new ones will complement old true and reliable house shoes.

Just received a pair of size 9s, under the recommendation that we order a half size down. These are a little too snug in thin socks and ok in bare feet. Thick socks would be too tight. Will they break in and stretch? Or would I be better off in 10s? I intend to wear them indoors only. I am not heavy on my shoes so I don't tend to break in shoes overnight. Normal width feet. I'll wait for input before I wear them much more, in case I need to return. Thanks

The item is only available in whole number sizes and ordering information on the web site advised ordering up the next size if one's current size is a half size. In my case I wear a size 8.5 so, following the site advice, I ordered size 9.0. It arrived, as a size 9.0, but was 1.5 inches too long. I returned it for an exchange to size 8.0, awaiting its arrival and hope that it will fit. Product quality is excellent as expected.

My husband has loved each pair of these that I have purchased almost once a year - for quite a few years. They are very comfortable for him and fit him well. I just wish they would have slightly more durable soles without sacrificing fit or comfort so that he cannot so easily wear a hole in the heels almost once a year!

Shoes are two different shades of brown, The lace under tongue cuts into upper part of foot. Need better arch support.(Size 9 D) Narrowness causing pressure for possible bunion issues.
