A little stiff in the beginning but after a few weeks it conforms well to your foot. Very durable.

Almost the perfect Slipper. Great feel, the sole lasts about 10 years with normal around the house use. Still have and wear my previous pair but after a decade of use the right slipper around the ball of the foot is getting a little thin. Only criticism would be lack of narrow choice.

This is my second pair! My first pair are the fur lined ones. They are a bit too warm on summer nights. These second pair are leather Lind and are perfect for summer nights. A little tight the first week, but are forming to my feet now well. These are quality slippers!!!!

Great slippers, but don't wear them out of doors, they will wear very quickly. Other than that, well made and comfy!

I got a pair from my family for Christmas this year. They are the only kind of slippers I've worn for the past 25 years. But this year, my new ones squeak when I walk and they are only just beginning to stop over a week later! That's too long for expensive slippers. I may try something else next time.

Just received my new pair(3rd) and everything is about the same except for the tie "decoration" instead of rawhide a CHEAP substitute made of extruded garbage! Come on did the bean counters(no pun) save that much-for what we pay- this is NOT Bean quality!!!

The bottoms are slippery out of the box. Walked around for 5 minutes on a dirty parking lot. Slippery no more. No damage. Half sizes would be nice, not a game changer. Only get better with age.

I loved how comfortable these slippers were. They were beautiful leather and quickly molded to my feet. However, the soles did wear through after about two - two and a half years. For the price, I definitely hoped they would have lasted longer, hence the four star review in lieu of five.

Could not help but slide around on my carpet. Maybe I'll take some sandpaper to the soles to get them roughed up before I break my neck.

Have always found these slippers to be comfortable once broken in. Initially they are slippery when walking on bare floors.

Appearance and fit is fine, but the leather lining a bit too warm to wear without socks. They've become my house slippers rather than my bedroom slippers, and quite comfortable at that.

These slippers are beautiful, and impeccably crafted. I've owned them before, and have happily worn them for many years. I prefer their classic look to the women's options on the website. My normal shoe size is a women's 9 medium. Upon the advice of LLBean staff, I ordered 2 sizes downa men's 7, width medium D. The length is fine but they are too wide. I walk out of them. To make them work I add an insole or two and if need be, wear them with socks. It's worth it to me. I've suggested before that LLBean make these slippers for women, but perhaps the sales wouldn't be enough to warrant doing so. The slippers deserve 5 stars. I took a point off because of the adjustments needed to make them fit.

The slippers break in nicely and I know from past experience they last forever but the soles are too polished and slick right out of the box. The soles should be a little less finished so they aren't dangerously slippery until They are scuffed up a little

Great slippers but soles wear out too quickly. I have to replace mine every two years at the most. I wear them every day on carpeting but garage and basement are concrete. Love the slippers but getting tired of replacing them so often.

I wear a size10.5, but since you don't have half sizes, the size 11 shoes are loose on my feet.

I have had these skippers for about a month and am happy with them. I had a seemingly identical pair made by Quoddy years ago and loved them and these seem to be pretty much the same product. The sole is very slippery at first (comes with a warning) so you do need to be a little careful on smooth floors until the leather sole roughens up a bit. There is a little insole support which I really like. The slipper itself is rather stiff so far so they don't bend with my foot as I walk causing them to flop off my heel but I imagine this will lessen as they break in (it has already begun to improve). They're a bit pricey for a slipper but my last pair made it 10 years before my dog ate one so it's a good long term value. All in all, I'm pleased and would recommend this product.

I take a 8 1/2 (39) women's shoe. I was hoping the 7 men's would fit. I had a previous women's pair for at least 10 years but I just noticed the first sole was worn through. These fit and feel a little big. I know they will stretch from previous experience. Sorry I must return. My only reason for 4/5 stars is no women's sizes. Great slippers!!!

They're beautiful and good workmanship, but unfortunately, the top opening was tight and unbending, so I could not slip my foot in easily and comfortably. I returned them.

These are great! Pefer leather sole because of house with wood floors. This is about the fourth pair I've bought for my husband, he loves them, but needs a new pair every two years! Love that they are ALL leather with NO aritficial materials.

The shoes certainly should be termed moccasins. They are well constructed and have the feel of quality. If you have a wide foot, you'll have to order a size larger. And if they are a little snug, wear them around the house for a week before you reject them. Once broken in, they wear well with or without socks and they are so natural that I sometimes forget that I'm even wearing shoes!

I wish it had a rubber sole. It would not be as slippery.
