These boots are extremely comfortable and adorable. Fit is true to size. I normally take size 7 ordered same and fit perfectly.

Wonderful boots, took a day or two to break in a little, but they feel perfect, no complaints.

I was worried they would be too big so I tried the pull on boot at the store. I sized down one half size and they fit great. I bought the brown color and love it.I wore them all day and very comfy. Every time I wear them I get a compliment. Laces are easy to tie and stay tied all day.

These boots are flexible, comfortable right out of the box and stylish. Roomy enough for heavy socks or personal insoles. Fit wide feet even though they are labeled medium width.

I love these boots and now know what the fuss is all about. People from Maine often talk about Bean Boots. These are the most comfortable and sturdy boots I have every owned. They seem to be holding up well, so far, in our Vermont winter. They are like my feet being in a warm comfortable bed.

They are! No break-in period needed. I wear a few classic bean boots, the Rugged Cozy's win! Quality boots. I'm paying forward the good review as others' did. Perfect fit, my size 8.5, bought 8.5. I wear thicker socks usually. Warm feet so far, very comfortable indoors no sweaty feet. But when out in deep snow or long periods in cold I wear (the warmest) Bean Snow Boots. Added LLBean boot guard to protect, Gray color. Thanks LLBean! Great product! Love them

These are warm and exceptionally comfortable. I ordered a half size up so I could wear thick socks. My friend loved them so much I ordered her a pair for her birthday. To spruce mine up I bought red shoelaces to change out sometimes.

Oh my gosh! These boots do live up to all of the great reviews. They are so comfortable and casual-sylish looking! I usually wear 8.5-9 in boots. I ordered the 9. They have a little room, but they are not sloppy by any means. A medium weight sock makes a good fit. I considered ordering the 8.5, but felt they would most likely end up being too small. I ordered the Ash Grey which is really like a brown/grey which is actually perfect and what I was hoping for. Website makes boot look a tiny bit more grey than it really is, so take note. Beautiful, comfortable boots. Love them!

Love them! Cute, comfortable and warm! Didn't even need to break them in. Have not worn in the wet weather yet so hoping they hold up in the snow and damp. But so far very happy with purchase and would recommend.

I needed some new fall/shoulder season boots that were supportive and warm but also trendy enough to wear with work outfits so I wouldn't have to lug around multiple pairs of shoes. Glad I found these as they fit the bill perfectly! These run a bit big to accommodate warm socks, but once they've been worn several times they fit better to the foot and don't slide around as much. I ordered my true size. They're warm but not hot, so feet don't feel swampy when wearing them indoors for a full workday. They have a good tread and feel sturdy for a walk in the woods. Lightweight for a boot and for the most part comfortable for extended wear. Sometimes my feet or big toe do get sore after a whole day in them, and then I take a day off to wear sneakers. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

Some background, recently moved back to the USA from Slovakia. Live in WV. NEED BOOTS, real boots, that are functional. Bought 2 pairs of brand name boots when I got here and was totally disappointed. A plastic sole on snow is the definition of a sled! These boots have a Vibram sole. Buttery soft with a nice insole, they were roomy I can wear a heavy sock comfortably. Got them yesterday and walked my dog 4 miles out of the box today, no blisters! Love the color and as for being fashionable that is a matter of taste, they are simple and would work for a casual shopping trip or buying a Christmas tree for sure. Truly love these boots and will be ordering from LL Bean. These boots didn't wreck my toes or my budget!

Purchased these boots for a trip to Iceland and they were perfect! I have a wide foot and always have had a hard time finding shoes/boots to fit right. These were so comfortable walking around 12 hour day trips. Normally I'm a size 8 and they run a little big but with heavier socks they're perfect.

Very comfortable boots. I usually wear a size 7.5. Ordered a size 8 for when wearing thicker winter socks. Great look and comfortable fit.

I ordered these boots in the Ash color, in my regular shoe size. I love the color (it's kind of a mix between gray and brown) and the style, but they are tight with even regular thickness socks. I'm going to order them a half size larger, but now they're on backorder until mid-November. Not the fault of LL Bean - nor the boot, but a bummer since I'll not be able to use them during a good part of the autumn season.

I do a lot of cold weather hiking and sometimes in snow. These were fantastic. I was completely dry for all except maybe the last 30 mins of a 3 hours hike in 10 inches of snow. The seams got a bit humid in the footbed but once I polished them with a waterproof wax, no issues since. I recently took them to Iceland and hiked all over and feet always warm and dry. I hope LLBean carries these for years to come as eventually I will want to replace them with the same boot, I like them that much.
