I am an L.L.Bean Student Ambassador, and I spent my weekend hiking Mt. Nittany up at Penn State. These boots are so durable (even walking through the mud and slush), and they kept my feet warm and comfortable even in the freezing cold. I do a lot of walking, and these shoes did not make my feet hurt at all. I definitely recommend!

Love these boots! Great for hiking but also look nice too. There's plenty of room in my normal size for thicker socks.

These boots are so amazing!!! Not stiff at all, the heel has nice cushioning, and they are so stylish! So excited to wear these this winter. I bought the grey, as my size (7 1/2) was already sold out in brown. Please make more of the brown color boots in this style, and I'll buy those too!!!

These boots fit beautifully. They are true to size. Wear well, and accommodate my wider feet. I am beyond bummed to learn that they are being discontinued. I am so bummed to learn that they are being discontinued that I am writing a review to say how rare it is that I have found a boot that fits. I would love to order more, as it even looks great with casual outfits. Please LL Bean, do not discontinue.

Very comfortable walking/hiking boots. I wore them on a trip to Iceland and they were so warm and they kept my feet dry while walking in rain and misty waterfall paths.

These are very, very comfortable. I wore them first time (after a very brief fit check at home) for a 12 hour ER shift. No rubbing blisters, very comfortable to wear for the full shift. I have very high arches and the support is perfect. I am extremely satisfied with this boot. I needed the extra high lace up due to a fibula fracture from 2020. Wearing my tennis shoes, at times lent me to turning too quickly and "tweeking" that old fracture. With these I can lace them up snug, and never felt any pain sensation at all. I have been searching for a boot like this for almost a year! Very Very PLEASED!!

I bought these for a northern lights trip in Norway and am so thrilled with the fit! Most boots tend to feel narrow, but these feel just right with a nice toe box that doesn't feel restrictive. I'll be able to wear wool socks and feel like I can breathe/still feel comfortable. Pleasantly surprised to discover the boot is lined too. Sizing: I wear running shoe size 8.5, though I typically wear a 7.5-8 in casual shoes such as ballet flats . I ordered these in a 8.5 and they are perfect for wearing thicker socks. An 8 would

SO SOFT AND COMFORTABLE! I MEAN THE WHOLE BOOT! RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX COMFORT AND WILL QUICKLY MOLD RIGHT TO MY FOOT. CUSHIONED AND SUPPORTIVE INNER FOOTBED. NOT TOO NARROW AND NOT TOO WIDE. VERY TRUE TO SIZE WITH WIGGLE ROOM FOR THE TOES. WARM AND LIGHTWEIGHT. CAN'T WAIT TO START WEARING THEM THIS FALL!

I live on a ranch in Oregon and was in need of a pair of boots that were leather and would be waterproof. I ordered the lace up leather boots with the warm lining. Perfect for keeping my feet warm and dry. The ribs on the soles keep me from slipping which is important when you are 80 years old.

Love them!!! very soft inside and yes I do recommend them for long walks

I bought these boots for my daughter and they felt comfortable immediately and she didn't want to take them off! Great arch support, warm and sturdy sole. Also stylish. I hope to buy a pair for myself!

These are actually great boots - for not the coldest or wintriest of winter days! If you size down by 1/2 size, buy some insoles (whatever thickness you need to take up the extra room inside) for less than $10 and some thicker hiking boot laces for less than $10, and you'll hav some perfectly fitted & secure boots!

Nice looking boot, heel area is a little loose fit, you heel did lift a little. Made really nice but I wouldn't expect them to hold up for serious hiking. I wear them to work, but I do throw on my work boots for trecking through the woods I don't want to ruin them
