A very nice looking and comfortable boot. Working at L.L. Bean on the sales floor, I am always on the move. I truly like these boots for their good looks and comfort. High praise indeed! I have added/swapped out the insoles for the ones my physical therapist recommends and now they are even better. I normally wear a 9.5 while these are a 10, so size up a half size is my advice. The width is fine for my average feet. The boots have a Vibram sole which does tend to collect dirt, but the dirt is easy to dislodge and clean up. They are insulated and so far, my feet have not been uncomfortably cold. I have not stood outside at an ice arena to test this yet.

These are so comfortable and cute. I bought a half size larger than I normally wear, because of the thick socks I'd wear with them.

Absolutely adore these boots! They do run a little big. I always order size 9.5 in all shoes. I had to go down to a size 9 and even then still have room for thicker socks. The leather is breaking in wonderfully. They are comfortable enough for everyday wear both to the mall and to use outdoors.

Boots are very comfortable from the first wear. The height and rugged sole are good for snowy winters in upstate NY. The lining is soft and warm, great for running errands and daily wear.

Love everything about these boots! The color and comfort are fantastic. I have a narrow foot, so I do have to add an insert; however, that is a very minor adaptation that I must do with most of my shoes since "Narrow" options are non-existent these days.

I wanted to love these boots, however, the sole felt too thin and lacked a sufficient arch for my old feet. Sadly, had to return. I really hated to send them back!

I am sooo happy with these boots. So comfortable, I want to wear them all the time. Not too heavy, not too stiff just right!

The best boots ever. Soft, comfy and warm. I did go by reviews and bought a half size smaller and the fit is perfect.

These boots are so comfortable to wear! No break-in necessary! The other reviewer aren't exaggerating when they say these boots feel like slippers! I am a 7.5 in sneakers and an 8 in other shoes, but these fit me perfectly in a 7.5. My big toes are sensitive to pressure and these don't bother them at all. However, I have rather narrow feet. I was happy to catch them on a sale and they are worth every penny. I used L.L.Bean Boot Guard on them and it did change the color to brown, which I anticipated, but they are still pretty!

Comfortable enough to wear all day and stylish enough for casual office store. The toe box is wide enough to keep the toes from getting cramped up. These have quickly become my cool season go-to footwear.

Ordered a 1/2 size up, fit very comfortably with room for thick wool socks. I love the ruggedness and the sage-green laces. they look nice with leggings and jeans.

What I most like about these boots is that they are both rugged and nice looking. Not easy to find this. They seem to run a smidgeon on the small size; I ordered a size 9, and generally wear a size 9 except in sneakers, which I size up 1/2. I think a 9 1/2 in these would be too big, but the 9 feels like it could be just a smidgeon longer. I'm keeping them and will give them a try next winter. Bought them for cold weather hiking in the woods when there's minimal to no snow on the ground. Hoping they'll not only keep my feet warm and dry, but also be comfortable during long walks.

not to heavy to walk in. Comfortable. Personally I'd have liked a more molded footbed, but it works. Nice leather, not clunky to walk in.

These boots are comfortable and I have a difficult time finding shoes that don't bother my feet. I went one-half size up to make sure they weren't too tight. My normal size is 8 and I bought size 8 and one half. This is what I do with all my shoes. So, I would say this boot fits true to size. I wear medium sized socks with them. I lace them up to the fifth hole, leaving the two top holes empty and then just slip my feet in them and walk off with them. This works for me.

These boots are the most comfortable boots you'll ever wear.They look great with jeans and sweats. They are super abundantly padded,it's like wearing slippers!
