I ordered my usual size (10) in this boot, but could not even get one foot through the opening! I think perhaps this particular style is just not for me, despite its apparent popularity with others. So I cannot really comment on comfort, fit, or performance. Seemed to be very well made and sturdy, though.

I wanted to love these so much, and I DID for a short time. Unfortunately both shoes rubber cracked across the top after only two months. The rubber was too thin and getting them on was difficult with having them bend which added to the eventual cracking. They fit amazing and I thought I found a product I thought I would love forever. I was ready to invest in one every once in a while after typical use but only two months is disappointing. I had to return them.

I really like the comfort and style of these shoes but they cracked after just a few months. Otherwise would have been a five star review.

I loved these - LOVED them. Favorite rain boots I ever wore. However, I have only had them for 4 months and the boot cracked. they aren't too tight or too loose, and I haven't worn them for anything strenuous, but right across the middle the boot just cracked open. It's a bummer because it's very visible, and obviously completely negates the "waterproof" aspect. I'm so sad because these were my favorite shoes I own and now I wont be able to wear them anymore.

These boots are rugged and well-made, but the opening is very restrictive and hard to get a foot into. I would have returned them, but it was at an inconvenient time to do so. We want slip-ons because they are easy to put on and take off, and this boot was neither.

Bought these because they were stylish but functional to wear on rainy days to class. They did not hold up. After a year of wearing them, the right sole separated by the arch and I have a crack across the big toe. The left shoe has a massive crack across the front. I have boots from another brand that are much older and have held up way better. Super disappointed especially considering the price.

I purchased these Wellies to keep dry during my daily walk. I found them very comfortable, but a year after purchase they fell apart and cracked. The Upper part detached from the sole. The tread was still good, but I had to throw them out. Very disappointed in LLBean.

Bought my first pair of Wellie's and within a month or so one of the back tabs broke off. Brought them in the flagship store and they were able to exchange for a new pair (which took a few months to arrive because they were on backorder). After wearing them less than 10 times, the seal of the shoe started to come apart from the sole on both boots. A coworker who also has a pair (seeing hers inspired me to buy mine!) had the exact same thing happen. The boots essentially cannot be worn now as they're falling apart and are not waterproof. Such a disappointment!

I bought these to give as a gift. The opening was not big enough for her to get her foot into the boot.

The tab on the back of both boots ripped off. They are now very difficult to put on. I had them for a month when this happened.

I bought these in Jan. 2024 and I expected them to last me for a while. They started getting cracks/allowing water in about a year and a half after purchase. When I emailed to see if I could exchange or get store credit, the answer was no because it was outside of the year return window. I would expect something from L.L. Bean to last me at least 5-10 years, minimum. They were only lightly used. I've purchased much cheaper boots before that lasted just as long or longer. Would not recommend.

Sorry, but these lovely boots lasted 2 1/2 months this fall, before both started to leak near the big toe. Really disappointing. I wish they held up better.

I was so excited for these boots! I wore them a few times and noticed a separation of the boot from the sole, leaving me with wet feet! I was able to exchange for another pair, which sadly after a few wears did the same thing! I will be returning, but am very skeptical about a third try.

LLBean boots is what my entire family gets for the last 20 plus years!!!! These boots are awful. The first pair lasted 7 months, the water was coming in, wholes on the side of the boots. I returned them in November 2025. Got the same boots thinking it was a fluke, nope! I just returned the second pair. Wet feet again, little straps fell off. Mind you, these boots are only worn to walk the dog! Advise! Do not get these boots .

I found these boots to be super comfortable and cute, perfect for all day wear in wet weather. But with just over a year of use, the rubber upper has started splitting away from the sole on one boot and the rubber is cracking on both boots- rendering them not waterproof anymore. I already had my first pair of these boots replaced by L.L. Bean due to the same thing happening after about a year of use. As much as I like wearing these boots, I am extremely disappointed about how quickly they seem to break. I have tons of other L.L. Bean products that have lasted me much longer with much more intensive use.

Love these but don't buy them! My husband bought these for me for Christmas last year. Wore for one Spring season and when I got them out to wear this Fall they were split at the seam like so many other people have said. Huge disappointment from a brand like LL Bean.

I bought this pair believing the history of LL Bean's quality and durability. However, this pair did not make past two years. I was very disappointed with the product and warranty. I need to find another pair but it will definitely not be from this company.

My wife love this boots. This are number 3 now in less then 3 years, she says they are comfortable and she gets compliments. However they are poor quality, and will not last. They will rip from the bottom seem. With better material quality, and good glue this boots could last years instead of few months.

The design of these boots is great I get complimented all the time. BUT they don't do the literal one job they have, actually keeping my feet dry in the rain. I bought a pair in 2023 and they started leaking halfway through the season. I still really loved the design and hoped it was an anomaly, so I bought ANOTHER pair in 2024 and even intentionally wore them less, but they still failed just as quickly. I just took them out as the weather has shifted and I forgot how badly they failed until wearing them again. You can't say I didn't try! So disappointing that these are still for sale after seeing all the previous complaints just now.

Got these boots for Christmas 2024 and was impressed with the looks and sturdy sole. However, after less than four months of wearing (Jan-April and 1 day in October) in the rain & mud while walking the dogs, both boots started to leak. The leaks occur where the upper part meets the side strip of the sole. Very sadly, I returned them.

I was initially really happy with these. Then after wearing only several months, the boot completely disintegrated- like the sole separated from the sides of the boot and I spent one miserable day at work with a soaking wet sock and duct taped shoe before I could get home to toss them.

I've now returned these five total times. Every pair I get you can hear air when you walk and your feet get wet and they tear at the seams. Very disappointing product.
