Sadly I had to return these very handsome rain/weather boots for the fit being too small, thus the 3 star rating. Loved the green color and the general felt if the boots before trying them on. I also want to commend LL Bean for making the return painless.

Bought these in Black and they are a great stylish boot. They do not keep your toes warm so dont by them for warmth. I wear them on wet or light snow days

I was disappointed that the top of these boots cracked within just a few months of wearing them occasionally. They are comfortable and seemed sturdy at first but I see there are many other reviews with similar issues. I hope L.L. Bean fixes this defect. I will return.

These boots only lasted a few months and I don't wear them every day. Both boots have cracked on top where my foot bends. Other than that, they were very comfortable, so if you don't care if they last, they're fine.

These boots are great for spring, fall and mild winter weather, but I've had them for less than a year and the outer rubber is cracking on both boots. I would expect cheaper boots to do this, and I'm disappointed these boots didn't even last a year.

Comfortable but not easy to get on/offI wish there was a way to engineer these to be easy on, easy off. Can wear them all day, theyre very comfortable.

Size 6.5 foot, size 7 boot was way too large. Returned.

I received these as an unexpected Christmas gift and I love them! At first worried when I saw the size 6, as I usually wear 6.5. They fit perfectly. I can pull on with or without regular socks. They are super comfortable and I have taken to wearing them everyday, even though there's no mud! The rubber is flexible, the sole sturdy. I live in a rural mountain location. They are extremely functional but look great for town too! Great LL Bean quality. I am very grateful for this gift.

I loved these boots but I only wore them for a couple of months. They came apart at the seam where the top meets the sole. The rubber on top also began to crack on both making them not so waterproof.

These boot are great everywhere and every day boots. I walked all over Ireland and England with these boots and never once got a blister.

I looooved these boots when I ordered them. They looked so so nice on and I adored the clink ones of the sole. It was a unique touch for a Chelsea boot. Literally everything about this boot was perfect for about 3 months. I wore them twice a week in that period and by 3 months I noticed a crack developing in one of the boots. And suddenly the crack, which is aligned with where my toes connect to my foot and so where a lot of bending happens, turned into a split. And then I noticed the fabric lining inside at the heels was ripped from wear. After owning a pair of hunter rain boots, which I switched from after 4 years because THEY split, I'm really disappointed. I know the price is very different, but for a rugged llbean boot I expected a whole lot more durability.

They are not easy to put on without sitting down in a chair and having some tool to tug the tabs on the front and back up onto your foot. I had a total right hip replacement so man not very flexible and these are hard to get on.

i returned these because they were too narrow and I would not be able to wear regular socks, only very thin socks

They are heavy and not great for long walks. I took mine to Europe because I knew it was going to rain and let me tell you it was so painful to wear after a while I ended up wear sandals with rain pouring down because I couldn't take it anymore, Also my mistake but I had cuts on my ankles because I didn't wear high socks, so the shoe rubbed on me.

I bought these last December and I was so excited to wear them. They were immediately comfortable and fit perfectly! However, by May the rubber had ripped in multiple places. I am really surprised because I only wore these in the rain (not that often) and I have other bean boots that have lasted me over 5 years. Really disappointing because I expected better quality from ll bean...

I've owned a few pairs of boots similar in style to this pair, and I was initially excited to find a pair by L.L.Bean. I figured the boots would be well-made and last me at least 2 years. 3 months later (after a maximum of 10 wears), the boots are split at the sides. I'm really disappointed.

I loved these boots when I got them 2 months ago, but they quickly began falling apart. The rubber upper portion of the boots began separating from the soles after a couple of weeks, and now cracks are appearing all over the rubber. I only used these boots to walk around my neighborhood, so I think this is well beyond a normal rate of wear and tear. Really disappointing as they're very comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on them, but they're not worth the money.

Too small. Could not even get them on despite ordering recommended size. Did not think going up would help so I returned them.

I could barely get my foot inside and when I did it was too roomy and would be a fall hazard on slick surfaces. Very disappointed in the quality, especially the inside of the boot. Will return.
