I am PLEASENTLY suprised my toes / feet stay warm with a heavy sock on , no sweating either..Very comfortable if I'm snow shoveling , or sledding...

I was surprised by how light these boots are yet my feet stay warm and dry. I've been practically living in them with snow storms every 3 days this winter. They are light, comfortable, warm, dry, everything you want in a winter boot. They are easy to slip on and off when our puppy needs to go outside, my children even slip them on when they take the dog out! I would buy these a million times over but I'm hoping they last and I never have to shop for winter boots again!

This pair of boots fits my feet well and stylish. I usually wear 9 1/2 size. But this one is size 10 and fits me comfortably with a pair of wool socks. It is easy to on and off. It is not balky looking. My only worry is the 1 inch heel because I have ankle problem and better with flat shoes. However, so far, I don't feel any bump from this 1" heel. In addition, I got it in navy color which is $30 less than the regular price. I even like the color better than in other colors. Very happy!

I bought these boots for morning and evening walks around the neighborhood during the winter and I can tell you it's like walking on air. These are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever had. They are about a half size too big and perfect width unless you have extra wide feet. The only negative I've found is that unless you have thick socks, your toesies might be a little chilly (especially here in New Hampshire). No big deal, put on the wool and go enjoy the outdoors :) The navy version is really beautiful in person. I'm tempted to order another pair in the other colors!

Finally bought quality boots. Walking the dog is a treat now, toes are toasty. Easy to get on and off and protect your feet from puddles and multiple inches of snow. Best Buy yet!

These boots are beautifully made, warm, comfortable and very stylish. The fleece lining is soft and thick. The size is perfect...plenty of room in the toe. I believe they run slightly large, but I wouldn't go down. They're perfect with mid-weight socks. They are all leather, even though they look like the duck boots with rubber, which is a classy feature. I purchased the blue, which will go especially with jeans and is such a unique look. Haven't been able to check out their waterproof qualities, but I might save these for more of a fashion statement rather than slushing around in the snow, I'm a real boot lover with at least 20 pair of Bean boots (no exaggeration). I like all of them, and these are a fun and fresh looking addition. I've been a customer for over 40 years, and I'm rarely disappointed.

I like to walk on gravel trails and my athletic shoes were not up to the task when cold weather set in. Mud, snow and ice were hampering my walks, so I checked out Bean's waterproof boots and thought the insulated Rangeley Boots would do the trick, and boy did they ever! My feet stay warm and dry, the boots fit perfectly and provide good traction and ankle support needed when walking on uneven surfaces. These are my favorite boots, hands down, ever!

I purchased this boot because it was on sale and I wanted something warm and comfortable to walk in this winter since my dogs like to be out in all types of weather and Michigan has it all. I like the way it fits and they are warm and waterproof. So far, so good. I'm satisfied with my purchase and feel like they were a good value.

I finally retired my original bean boots this year because they just are not warm enough for NH winters. These Rangeley boots are so much warmer and so comfortable. I purchased the taupe/natural combo and worried that the sherpa may not hold up, but after a month of solid use they look great! These are now my go to boots. No more cold feet!

I bought these for myself about a month ago to walk our dog and I have worn them nearly every day since. Love these boots! I would highly recommend them. The fit is perfect. I ordered up a 1/2 size to a 10 and they fit great. They are do not feel big or heavy like some boots. They are warm and cozy enough to wear without socks if I need to quickly slip them on. I bought the green and tan boots. The colors are true to the pictures.

Saw these in the store and they popped out right away, but I was looking for a traditional LL Bean boot. Weeks later I couldn't get them out of my mind so I ordered the green ones. Ordered my usual size because one foot is wider. They're lightweight (a huge difference from Sorels!), cozy soft and warm! With regular socks they definitely feel big but I like to wear fuzzy socks or wool socks in the winter, and I adjust the laces to be tighter. Walked around town and played in the snow with my son, feet stayed warm and dry. Highly recommend.

Ordered a pair for me and for daughter and granddaughter as Christmas presents. Mine are warm and comfortable and look great! Can't wait until Christmas to share the other pairs.

I am very pleased! These are warm & wonderful. I was worried that they'd be too short bc I wear size 6 & sometimes 6 1/2 med. Instructions did suggest if you're a half size, order down. It worked for me! I ordered a 6. Love the warmth, the compact look; yet are wide enough to wear thick socks or to add a thin jell orthotic & thin socks. Adequate toe room bc that's what you need in cold weather. Toes are happy! They are well-made with high durability & are insulated. I ordered the Taupe/Olive. Can't wait to trek in the snow & test the waterproofing!

I just got these boots recently and I love them! I had tried several styles of sorels in the past because I thought they looked good (although i never managed to look like the chic legging-wearing models in the ads), but they were so big and clunky and one gave me blisters on the back. I saw these here and thought they looked cute, better than the normal duck boots, and decided to give them a try and am so glad I did. They look narrower (I don't have normally narrow feet and they were fine) and are not nearly as clunky in the front duck part. I thought I compared the weights on the websites and they were similar, but these feel much lighter. Who would have thought that the llbean ones look so much more streamlined?! I got the brown/green pair because I liked the look better, but realized most of my clothes look better with the navy/maroon color and am debating getting those too. So far they are comfy. I like the "fur." It hasn't been super cold, so haven't tested that, but they did do fine with one day of shoveling and I've been wearing them walking because there's snow/ice still on the ground. The soles have good grip, not the wavy pattern I remember from when I was kid. I'm a solid 6.5 and got the 7 since they don't have half sizes. The foot is a little big and slid around a little bit, but when I tied the laces tighter on the lower part and ankle that they feel fine. And no issues with blisters - I walk almost 4 miles to my daughter's school and back and have worn them at least 5 days so far so should know by now. Hopefully they will hold up and I'll still love them at the end of our long snow season - I'll update my review if I don't.

These are warm & comfy! If you wear a half size, highly recommended you go UP to next whole size. I always wear a (US) 9.5 medium or wide. This 10 length is perfect, but a 9 would not have fit! If medium is usually perfect or snug, go wider for this boot.

Perhaps because of the lining and the fleece sides, the size 6 in these Bean boots is not too large for me. In fact, it may well be a bit too short and narrow for those who wear a size 6 in other Bean boots. Because I now have to wear compression socks, which are thinner than normal socks, these work well for me, especially with the laces that make it easy to make them tighter (or looser) at will. I love the look of these, and they are very comfortable and also very warm. I have not worn them in snow or in temperatures below 30 yet, but if you can wear normal boot socks, they should be fine in more extreme conditions as well.

I had this item in my shopping cart then it SOLD OUT. I called around to the factory stores and managed to find a single pair that was a size up from my usual size 8. Can't comment on it's waterproof capability as I haven't worn it in deep snow. Definitely keeps your socks warm (unless you wear thin socks). True to size indeed because the size is 9 is a little big, but perfect for large winter socks. I was worried a size up would make my feet look larger relative to the rest of my body but it is just fine. These boots are beautiful, feminine and fashionable. I don't dress up a lot so the boots do the talking. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. When these are done, I will buy another, for sure.

Warm , comfortable , light and soooo cute ! often wear a 91/2 so ordered down to 9 as suggested and fit is perfect even with heavy socks

I have a pair of 6"duck boots in a size 8. I think these fit a little bigger. I took the insoles out and put my orthotics in. Definitely los of room for a thicker sock, but I wore them all day today and didn't feel myself slipping around. I love them. They are super cute and comfy. They are quite warm witht he insulation, but not too much so, I don't think. I'm going to keep them! <3

I have been wanting duck boots for awhile. These just looked so cute and not like any other boots I have seen. They did not disappoint. SO warm, comfortable, and adorable!

These boots are comfortable and very warm! They are challenging to actually get on, though. They also have no traction when things are slippery. Overall I am happy with them.
