I bought these boots to walk our dog around in the snow at the park or in the neighborhood, and they are perfect! My feet stay very warm and dry, and they're so comfortable to walk in. May order another color!

Comfortable right out of the box. I'm usually a 7 1/2 or 8. I bought an 8 to wear with thick socks, and I'm glad I did. We had a snowfall and so the new boots were put to the test. Comfortable, warm and kept my feet dry. On top of that they look cute. Ordered another pais since they were so good for the winter ahead.

These are super comfy and flexible to walk in! The fleece around the ankles is very comfortable and warm. I am usually an 8.5 but the 8 is very roomy so it fits perfect even for my slightly wide feet. I'm glad it is not too narrow or crazy wide looking like some of the other boots I tried on. They look great and I love that the blue laces pop against the gray! If you don't love to have to lace them up you can leave the laces loose and easily pull them on with the back loop which is very strong. For cold wet weather walks with my dog these have been perfect but look so cute I'd wear them anywhere!

I really like these boots, they are good looking, nice and warm and water proof. I've been walking my dog in the snow and my feet don't get cold at all.

Fit comfortably out of the box, on the narrower side [worn with heavyweight wool socks], warm af. Prior to this I had unlined duck Bean Boots for 10 years that wore down at the heel. These are much better for New England winters [and springs and falls- the weather here necessitates boots 3 out of 4 seasons] at a comparable price and hopefully they last me as long.

I bought these for a gift for my daughter, she loves them. She is a college student so these are great for walking to class, or running errands while keeping her feet warm and dry.

After going through several pairs of cheaper boots the past several years, I decided to spend a bit more and went with these LL Bean boots. They are fabulous. Extremely comfortable (I walk dogs and work outside all day), are truly water proof, and warm as can be. I want to wear them all the time. You will not be disappointed

The perfect boot for comfort, multi season use. Love the stretch laces! In the colder weather a heavy LL Bean sock is just enough.

These wonderful boots arrived just in time for my trip to Zermott, Switzerland. There was lots of snow and these Rangeley boots fit the bill, and looked fashionable as well.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but these boots are really great. I got my regular size 9, and even for my wide-ish feet there's plenty of room for thick socks. They're really, really comfortable, and pretty warm on their own, but even warmer after I splurged (again) and replaced the insoles with shearling ones. They are heavenly now. I love these boots!

These boots are great and look so good! I definitely support LL Bean's recommendation to size DOWN. Don't follow the advice of any of the reviews. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 or 9 depending on the style of shoe. I first went with the reviews to order the 9. This was WAAAY too big. Exchanged for the 8 and fits GREAT!

LOVE these boots. I was overdue for new winter boots, and I couldn't be happier. They are warm, waterproof, light enough to be extremely comfortable working around the barn and in the snow with the animals. Highly recommend.

I live in SE Missouri and have never really needed a snow-type boot. Had a once every 20 year snow this February and wore them for a week straight! Very comfortable and wish I'd had a pair sooner for even the "little" snows we get every once in a while. Will definitely recommend them to whomever asks!

I bought these boots to wear running errands in messy cold weather. I found them to be comfortable right out of the box and no more freezing feet when I play outside with my grandson. They look cute and are good quality. I would definitely recommend them!

Honestly, I didn't want to wear them outside and get them dirty! I know, that's weird! These boots are the best quality boot that I have ever, ever, owned! First, they are so good looking!!! When I did wear them out to shovel, I couldn't believe that for the first time in my life, my feet stayed WARM and DRY!!! Why, why did it take me soooo long to buy these? Note: I do regularly wear a 7 1/2, but I opted to go up to the 8 and they feel amazing!

This is my first pair of L L Bean shoes so I was a little intimidated by the sizing. For me, I typically wear a size 9.5 and often feel that regular width shoes are a bit narrow. I ordered both a size 9 and 10 in this boot to find the perfect fit. The 10s were too big but the 9s fit absolutely perfect. They are comfortable for every day wear but also warm enough for hiking in the snow. They lace up easily, although the laces are a bit long so I usually wrap once around the ankle when tying them. I highly recommend these shoes for cold and snowy winters!

Really happy with this purchase. I've been wearing these out and about in 10F to 40F weather. First day I walked 2 miles with these on with no problems. My toes get cold quickly & I have trouble finding boots that keep them warm. I will add toe warmers if I know that I won't be moving around but plenty of room for those & my toes.
