Can you believe I decided to break these in on our usual morning walk with Lily, beagle, and myself? They broke in beautifully and will be great, traction & all. I am 81 years old and still out there walking in the best shoes. Thanks ever, Ann & Lily

Great fit... great support ...great shoe! .... Ready for a hike

Perfect fit first try on and no need of breaking it. I was looking for this shoes for a very long time. I think that the less the number of tying the shoe laces the better. Less constraint in the movement of the upper portion of the foot. This shoes relieved my feet aches and pains while walking, Intend to buy another of this shoe in different color.

Sturdy, good looking shoes. Perfect for walking and hiking. I use them on trails in the woods. Feet do not get tired and they give good support.

LLB quality as usual. Comfortable fit, toebox has ample room.

These are attractive, supportive, waterproof and of great quality! I've never had L.L. Bean because it thought it would be too expensive for the same quality as everyone else but I stand corrected - and comfortably! If you're on the fence at all, wouldn't hesitate to give them a try because if you do not end up liking them, the return policy is generous!

I'm on my feet all day at work and this pair of shoes provide the support my feet need. The good looks is icing on the cake.

I got these sneakers AGAIN, though this time as waterproof. I love them. I work outdoors and need a solid light shoe with good grip. These are great. They fit well (I am an 8m but order a 9 and always have) and will buy them again if they continue to carry them. The waterproof was very good as I have had issues with the breathable ones in the past letting dirt and dust through. These ones do not do that.

Sturdy and supportive, yet comfortable! Like walking on clouds no matter the terrain or distance. No break-in required. Color Is gorgeous!

Gotta try these hikers! These shoes are my third pair. They hold up to all seasons and my Scouting adventures. They fit well, grip well and are very durable. Better than other brands I have poured money into.

I am now wearing my third pair. Simply love them. The soles NEVER wear out and your feet stay dry. Just wish there were more colors to choose from. Very easy to clean with a small brush and warm soapy water.

Always pleased with L. L. Bean merchandise. Only fault is it is a heavy shoe but I am sure they will work well in rain and snow.

Wonderful product! The best compliment I can give to footwear is that when I'm wearing them I never think about my feet, and that's exactly how I feel about these gems.

The trail hikers were very comfortable with a good fit. I wore them all day long while traveling.

Nice support but they take a little getting use to. They are stiff and strong. Getting more and more comfortable each day.

I was afraid these hikers might be too stiff and inflexible but that was not the case. They were comfortable right out of the box. I'm going to a rainy part of Canada this summer and waterproof hikers were recommended. I think I found a perfect pair for the short hikes I do.

Nice waterproof hiking shoes. Better than my last two pair of non-Bean hiking boots, which sometimes let in a pebble on the side. Got m usual size.

I have arthritis and my feet are very picky about shoes! Also hate to have wet feet. These keep my feet dry and work for long dog walks. Very good shoes and good price.

I have heel spurs and these provide the structure I need. I have five different-colored pairs including the two colors currently offered. However, two pairs are at least 10 years old and another pair has started to bother one foot as I have gotten older. I would love to see a few more colors including black, some type of brown, and gray. I would definitely purchase them.
