The leather on these boots is to die for. They are so soft as soon as they come in the mail. The shearling is soft and warm. These are great in snow, and are seriously stylish! I got compliments when I wore them with cropped jeans out to dinner one night on the mountain! I can tell that they are well made, and will last forever. That certainly justifies the price tag, which for some seems very high. Worth every penny!!!

I finally ordered a pair of the shearling line boots after one too many winters of slip sliding around the snow and ice. These were comfortable right away, and have kept my feet warm and dry while shoveling snow. My feet are on the wide side, but I got my normal size in these and they are comfortable. I can wear them a long time before my feet feel tired. So glad I finally invested in a pair!

I've been eyeing these boots for about a year now and finally decided to get them for myself for Christmas. The quality is excellent - everything seems incredibly durable and very well made - and they are super cozy! Not only is there soft, plush fur lining the leg of the boot, but the foot is insulated with what feels like cushy fleece (I admit - I have not actually looked inside, but this is what it feels like and it feels so good!) Between the rubber of the shoe part and the leather & fur of the boot part, these shoes are not lightweight, but I think it'll be worth it when snow comes. I will say that I ordered a size 8, my standard shoe size, and the boot was slightly large. With thicker socks, the shoe fits a little better, but I do wish a little bit that I'd gotten a 7 instead.

First I received these within about two weeks despite the back order notification of a month. So great start. Sizing is crazy. Definitely go to a store to try on. I am a 8.5-9 and I had to buy a 7. That's right a 7. So without having worn them my daughter wore them to the Patriots 5th Super Bowl Parade #5 wahoooo!! Anyway it was slowing & sleeting. She came home soaked and freezing (after seeing the #1 Pats!!) but her feet were dry. What else can I say to that but thank you and WAY TO GO PATRIOTS!!! Wahooooo!!

I debated over which pair of Bean Boots I wanted for a long time and once I saw these, I knew they were the ones. I was pleased when I tried them on that they were everything I hoped they would be. I wear boots to and from the office and spend a lot of time in ice rinks. I wanted something warm that was also easy to get in and out of - these did it!

Soft warm cushy cozy boots. Nothing but the best with these Bean boots. I had no idea how comfortable they'd be. I wear 8 1/2 ordered 8. They fit with room to spare. So functional in this New England weather. I'm so happy with these boots.

These boots are hands down the most incredible boots I have ever purchased. I wear a size 8.5 and bought a size 8. I went against the sizing instructions and am still able to wear thick socks with them. These boots could 100% withstand the end of the world. They are super durable (would easily hold up in freak flooding, lava, and all terrains), super comfortable (in case I need to run from zombies), and look super cute (in case I meet a hot guy on my journey to safety). OH and not to mention that when I bought them they were on a 3 month back order BUT i received them within 3 weeks. YAY! Highly recommend!

So cute and comfortable. When you need a bootie that can handle weather but don't want too much weight on your feet, these are perfect!

If you're wondering what size. I am a 7.5 wide and got the 7 wide. They fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and warm. The leather is really soft so they already feel worn in. I feel like I'm wearing a slipper, except for the fact they are extremely strong and durable haha. I bought the Sherpa lined insoles and that puts the icing on the cake. So happy I have these boots.

I absolutely love these waterproof boots! They are very comfortable and great to wear on rainy cold days....they keep your feet dry! Love...Love....Love!!!!

I got these boots as a Christmas gift and couldn't be happier. They are so warm and perfect for walking around a slushy city in the winter. I don't drive, so waterproof boots are a must in the winter; these are comfortable, durable, and WARM. Seriously, so warm. At first I followed the directions and sized up since I usually wear a 7.5 in boots; however, the 8's were too big so I returned them for a 7. The 7's fit perfectly and the return process was one of the easiest things ever. I didn't have the original payment method since they were a gift, but I had an email receipt; the salesperson refunded the cost to a gift card and ordered me a new pair using the gift card - the whole process took maybe 6 minutes. Will certainly be shopping here for my winter gear from now on!

I LOVE these boots!! The shearling-lining is super warm. I love that the leather is a darker shade than the traditional tan of the unlined boots, and they are easy on & off since the tongue is not attached. I typically wear a 7.5 and the size 7 fits perfectly. Thinking about ordering an unlined pair since these are EXTREMELY WARM on my feet..perfect for cold weather, but maybe not so much for a spring rainy day.

I have had a number of Bean Boots in the past and these are my favorite. The shearling is so soft, comfortable and warm. And they are super cute.

This boot is awesome! It fits wonderfully and keeps my feet nice and warm. I wear a size 9 and ordered these boots in a 9 regular width. I know it says to go a size down, but usually brands that say go one size down never fit me. I was also fortunate enough to be traveling and near a LL Bean store. I was able to try on the 10in fur lined boot with a pair of thin and thick socks. Size 8 didn't fit at all with either sock. The size 9 fit beautifully! I highly recommend these boots! They should be perfect for Wisconsin and Illinois weather most of the year!

This is my third winter in Michigan, so it was time to finally get a pair of really good winter boots, and these fit the bill perfectly. The shearling lining is cosy and warm. The traction on the boots is excellent (we just had an ice storm, and I haven't fallen). I am a 7.5 and the size fit me perfectly. You can really tell that they are well crafted - I find myself truly appreciating these boots for the work that went into them and for the work they do to protect my feet.

I recently bought my second pair of these boots. They are very comfortable and warm. The shearling is soft and cozy. They may be pricey, but well worth it....especially if you compare these boots to some of LLBean' s competitors! Another big "plus" for me is that this model is still made in the USA. I normally wear a size 9 shoe, but size 8 in this boots gave me ample space. I wouldn't change a thing about these boots!

Been wearing them from day 1. Love the boots. Small problem at first with two left shoe inner soles but that was quickly fixed with one call to Bean. They sent a new pair(one each) NDA. Love the boots.

These boots are regularly are on back order throughout the winter. After 2 years of waiting to long to order them, I treated myself to an prewinter gift. I am usually a 6.5 and a 6 fits me perfectly. These boots are well worth the price as they are so snug and so warm. Perfect for cold weather, though on long trips to the mountain I do have to take them off bc my feet get too warm!

I have been agonizing over buying these boots for three years. Sitting outside in the cold watching football finally drove me to get a pair. I went to the store to try them on--all the comments on sizing concerned me. Although all of my shoes are size 8, I bought these in a size 7 which fits perfects - plenty of room in the toe and I can wear them with smart wool medium weight socks. If it helps anyone, I bought these in the low mocs (duck shoes) several years ago and they are also a size 7 and have always felt good on my feet just like these do. Very pleased with the purchase.

These boots are like wearing butter on your feet...they fit sooo nice. You have to take your time and pick the right boot, then try on a few pairs in that style....the staff at the store were expert, patient, and the most helpful I have ever encountered.they are key to finding your perfect footwear. These need a couple coats of silicon spray, now ready for whatever winter has to throw at me.....bring it!!!

Absolutely LOVE these boots. I've had them for a little over a month and I cannot seem to take them off. I suffer from Raynaud's disease where I have poor circulation in my fingers and toes and MAN are my toes warm in these boots! Seriously amazing shoes and well worth the cost. Also love the fact that they are made-to-order, makes a more personal connection.

I have a slightly wide foot. I can vary between a size 10 and 11 because of my width (10-1/2 rarely exists). I ordered the 10 wides. My only suggestion to those purchasing is to trust what they say with regards to size. The 10 length is perfect but the wide is wider than I expected. I should have just gone with the 10 regular. With that said, I'm still keeping them because now I can wear my thickest of thick socks and they are comfy as ever. Craftsmanship is outstanding on these boots and even though the shearling only covers from ankle up, they are warm. Highly recommend these boots but again, trust what they say on size!!!!!
