My favorite boots of all time! So warm and comfy.

Worn for first time in Ohio big snow. My feet were warm and dry. The half size too long enabled some cozy socks so all in all a good thing. Spent most of the day in these wonderful boots, so comfortable! Well done LLBean! Best boots that I have ever purchased.

Got these for Christmas from my husband. For reference, i normally wear a size 7 shoe but a size 6 fit perfect, even with thicker socks. I love these boots! Wore them in 18 degree weather and my toes were so toasty. Well made and very comfortable with the extra sole provided. Thanks as always L L Bean!

I'm so glad I went with these boots! They're SOO comfortable, soft, warm and super cute! I'm a true 7.5 and I ordered a 7 wide (Bc the regular was backordered) however, they still fit perfectly!! I'm actually glad I had to get wide, Bc I think if I got the regular they would maybe be too narrow. (And I don't have wide feet at all) They are so warm, perfect for RI weather! I'm so happy!

I finally decided I should invest in these boots. I've loved them from afar for years and secretly envied those who had the real deal, but couldn't justify them since the weather in Atlanta isn't too rough. I do have a dog now however and realized that days of rain and cold take a toll on me during our walks. I ordered the size 6 based on the recommendations (I'm size 7.5 in most shoes), but didn't think about the width at first since most of my shoes are medium. I need a large toe box however, so decided to return the 6" tumbled and get a wide. My choices were more limited for W, but thankfully I was able to get a pair I like even more. I now have the shearling 8" with tumbled leather. I've worn them many days since Christmas (we've had so much rain) and love them! I was worried the shearling would be too warm, but I always have cold feet (treated myself to some Wicked God Slippers for that reason) and I'm very happy! The boots felt great from the very first wear. I cannot wait to enjoy them for years to come!

Hesitant to order footwear online, but finally did order boots I've been wanting for too long... . Fit perfectly! I am so glad I ordered and so very happy with them. Warm and waterproof. They were back-ordered, but came early and delivered Christmas eve. Happy! Thank you.

This pair appeared under our Christmas tree in my perfect size and width, 8 W. There aren't enough words for coziness to describe these...they are like pillows for your feet! The fit is PERFECT. Great product as usual though very expensive. Haven't had a chance to use them in snow yet.

I ordered a size 7 (I wear a 7 1/2- 8), after reading the reviews that the boots ran big, and they fit perfect. I wore them one evening while walking through an outdoor light display for 3 hours and feet not only stayed warm but so comfortable. They will be on my feet a lot this winter. My only complaint is that the laces are too short to tie to the top.

My last. Bean boots lasted me a little over 20 years so I was extremely happy when I received these in the mail. They arrived sooner than expected and the fit and comfort exceeded my expectations as l.l.Bean usually does!

After 22 years of living in New England and over 3 years of debating to buy these or not and asking my friends if they are worth it I finally did it. At first I couldn't justify paying $225 for a pair of boots. After reading the reviews and with the positive review from friends I decided to just get them. I usually purchase a size 8 just because I have wide feet and big calves even with the option wide for shoe I feel like they are still small for me. I was not able to go into the store to try these boots out because they were out of stock in every store close to me. But anyways I ordered a size 8 wide and they are big length wise and perfect for my wide Fred Flintstone feet. The quality is amazing. I will just be wearing the size 8 with thick socks and I'm planning to buy a size 7 also. Best purchase!

Fabulous product! Excellent workmanship and quality, everything you have come to expect from L.L.Bean. Depending on the shoe I wear a 71/2-8 usually more often an 8. I purchased the size 7 because I have a pair of thinsulate bean boots in a 7 that I have had for years. The 7 fits perfectly with or without a heavy sock. Highly recommend this product!

I absolutely love my boots. The shearling lining is so cozy for the winter months, but doesn't cause your feet to over-heat when you go inside. These are perfect for the city or the mountain, rain or snow. Definitely recommend!

They are really warm and super comfortable. I have worn them everyday since I got them. I was worried about what size to order. I typically wear an 8 and that is what I ordered. They are just a little big but if I wear a heavier sock it will fit perfect. So far I have just worn what I normally wear and they fit just fine. The insole fits great and the arch support is perfect. I read some reviews on another site about them being hard to break in but I have no idea how that could happen. So happy I spent the money on these boots!!!

So comfortable and warm! I love these boots. I purchased them because we had such a rainy fall our yard turned into a mud pit walking outside with our puppy was treacherous. I was not looking forward to Winter at all! I had no problems with these boots. They kept the water and mud off my feet, I'm so happy with them!

My only regret is not purchasing these sooner. I love them! I wear them every day. They are incredibly comfortable, soft, flexible around the ankle, and waterproof which is a huge plus.

I purchased these boots for an engagement shoot in the snow. I ended up wearing them the entire weekend as they were soo comfy and kept my feet super warm in the 9 degree weather! They are a littl big but fit pretty good with thicker socks.

I read a lot of the reviews and recommendation from LL Bean on sizing, I still went with my normal size of 10 as I didn't believe the 9 would fit. I also have the laces tied "eastland knot" style so they are loose enough for me to slip on and off. If I wear with a trouser sock or no sock at all, they feel loose; if mid-weight or thicker they are perfect. So overall I am pleased with the fit. I wear these walking my dogs in the snow and rain and have stayed dry. Highly recommend.

Boots fit great and are very warm in the cold & snow. Ordered Wide D as I wear a much heavier sock in the winter and my feet still have room to breathe. In icy conditions, I will slip on my cleats for extra traction as I spend a lot of time outside.

Love these so much! It did, however, take 3 orders to get the right size. Do not follow recommendation to order down a size and a half on these. I'm a true true 8.5. Started w a 7, per reco, and had to send back. Same w the 8. Ended w a 9. Worth it!!

Ok, first impression- I have wider feet across the ball of my feet, so mediums in most shoes fit but are a tad snug. I wear a 7 medium in the venetian shearling slippers, also love them, so I was expecting the boots to fit about the same. They are wider than expected, so I can wear thicker socks, like trail socks, and still I have wiggle room in the toes, which is fantastic! Also, I didn't realize this till I tried the boots on, the shearling only lines the leather portion of the boot, the lining of the footbed is thinsulate, this is great because the footbed stays warm and dry and the shearling doesn't get ruined. The boots fit as if you've worn them in over a couple of years, the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. The tongue isn't sewn up the length of the boot, but I've had them loosely tied and don't feel any wind through them. Also a big plus for us ladies with 'big' calves, the upper has a lot of room for adjustment. This is also kind of a downside if you're looking for boots that don't crumple around the ankles. I suspect if you tied these pretty tight they'd stand pretty straight and close to the calves. I've been wearing these non stop the past 4 days in Vermont, it's been anywhere from 2-25 degrees, I've jumped around in the snow, walked a decent bit and no uncomfortable breaking in time, no wind or snow has gotten in either. Lastly, the loop on the back makes these super easy to pull on, and the laces are pretty stiff and textured so they stay put even if you don't actually tie them. The pictures show exactly how I've been wearing them, they're not even tied, you can see what I mean about them crumpling around the ankle too but I also haven't been wearing them tightly at all, to allow room for my jeans and thick socks. They're the best boots, honestly worth every penny.

I was a little hesitant to order these shoes because they were so expensive, but they are so, so worth it! I typically wear a size 9 boot, and although never worn LL Bean boots before, they fit perfectly. The fur adds necessary warmth where I live and they are completely water and snow-proof. They don't do too well on ice, but no shoes really does. Overall, great shoe!

Holy moly, I'm so happy with these boots. I purchase my first pair of Tan/Navy LL Beans boots that were not warm enough for me and opted to exchange for these fabulous boots. I have to say, I noticed a difference right away when it can to comfort and warmth. These are definitely the way to go if you live in colder, mountainous areas like I do. Im really happy with this pair.
