Super comfortable, warm and love special promotional discount. That motivated me to purchase this boot that I had my eye on for a long time. Well made and sizing is perfect. Left room for thick socks. Don't order a size bigger or smaller. It's the best shoe I have in my closet.

These boots are super comfortable and really warm! They even worked well walking around in the snow and had pretty good traction. They fit true to size even when wearing thick socks. I would highly recommend these boots! Very happy with my purchase!

I originally purchased a pair of the bean boots for my daughter and she exclaimed frequently how much she liked them (for many reasons!) so I decided to give them a go! Just great! They are warm, comfortable right out of the box and look great! I did purchase a 1/2 size smaller than I would have based on other reviews and I am glad I did as they do run big. I would usually wear a 7.5-8 and I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. Do order them..they are just as good as you think they are! Enjoy!

I'm a small adult and while I love the look of LLBean footwear, there's rarely anything smaller than a size 6. I found these in size 5M: they fit perfectly with a medium weight sock, they're warm, they keep my feet dry and with the rubber-like bottom, I slip less. I wish they were available in a black/charcoal, but it's great having boots that fit.

I've had many opportunities this cold and snowy winter to test drive these boots - they are now my favorite winter boots. Thank you LLBean!
PROs: Well made. Very warm - especially love the boot bottom lined with thinsulate, keeps my feet toasty. Tumbled leather is ultra soft and comfortable. Good traction in slippery snow. CAVEAT - SIZE : These run small. My shoe size is a 5 1/2. I take a 6 in a boot and wear LL Bean boot socks with all of my boots. I ended up buying a 7 in this boot. It is a bit large but I'm happy with that - my feet are warmer and I get better traction with a bigger boot. FYI : I want them to last a long time, so I used a conditioner that contains carnauba wax on the leather (a product I've used for years meant to protect vintage pebbled leather).

Love these boots! Fit true to size (I normally wear between a 7.5-8 wide) and are incredibly comfortable from the first time I put them on.

Love the shearling, but the sizing suggestion is way off. I usually wear a size 10, and am considering trying a size 8 for best fit.

With a medium weight pair of socks these boots fit perfectly. They are exactly what I wanted this winter (in Wisconsin) for walking about town, going in/out of the car, sitting inside/outside. The quality is awesome (thanks Lesley) and the tumbled leather needs no break-in period. I am very happy with this purchase; more so because they're made in America!!

I bought these boots about a month ago and wanted to put them to the test before reviewing. I am 5'10" and typically wear a 9 1/2 or 10 shoe. I ordered the 10 figuring they would be a little big and could wear thicker socks to keep extra warm during winter wear. They do run a little big, if I had it to do over I'd order a half size smaller but I still love the boot. Quality made. I live in Missouri but commute to Michigan- tested this in the MI weather- shoveled snow and fair amount of out door walking in zero to 20 degree weather (not including wind chill). Absolutely not complaints!! These are very comfortable boots, my feet stayed warm and dry. I am in my 50's and tend to struggle with back issues, some shoes aggravate my back but these did not. LOVE them. They look a bit bulky but are not heavy like they potentially look. I'm happy with everything about them and highly recommend!! Great purchase in my opinion, made to last.

I wear my Bean boots to and from the snow in the Lake Tahoe area. Living in the Bay Area means driving to winter. My Bean boots are the perfect boot for traveling - three hours in the car...three days in the snow. And this year we have tons of snow! Thank you for the care and detail you put into manufacturing this high quality, stylish boot. They are warm and lightweight and I love them!

I loved my unlined bean boots, so I figured the waterproof feature with the shearling is a win win! They were exactly as I hoped. Fit true to size. Comfortable enough for daily winter wear. -20 in the Adirondacks and my feet were toasty warm!

I had been putting off purchasing these boots for quite some time, but, after attending my grandson's pond hockey tournament (2 games a day for 2 days, in -12 degree weather), I decided it was definitely time to get them. I have been extremely happy with them, but I must admit, my toes still do get a little bit cold. I tried to order the shearling liners, but, they are backordered until July. I will most definitely order them, and I have no doubt that they will do the trick. Have had lots of boots, but these are the best by far.

I was not at all surprised by the purchase. The quality and overall construction is outstanding as you would expect from this fantastic company. Absolutely in love with these boots. I can only assume that I will have them for years to come. You never disappoint! You get what you pay for and then some with LL Bean! Love, love, love them! It's so nice to deal with a company that takes pride in their products, a real rarity these days.

Just bought my second pair of Bean boots after 32 years! I still have pair #1 and now #2 will last till the end. #1 is still in excellent condition, just thought that I would upgrade to the shear-ling. Love them. Thank you LL Bean for years of great quality and support.

Have not used boots yet; debating between 7 1/2 wide & 8 med. (size I ordered); always wear winter boots with heavy socks & normally order boots in 8 med. Quality excellent & likely to keep size 8 as ordered. Many reviews say style runs big but necessary to wear heavy socks. My normal shoe size is 7 1/2 med. Love the warm soft lining!

Purchased in anticipation of Winter Storm Harper and was the best prepared and outfitted person in group for shoveling snow, walking 2 miles in 6-8" snow in forest and taking my dog out in icy conditions. Sizing was confusing; I ordered a half size down. I wore quite thick socks and the boots were a perfect fit. My normal socks would make a size 8 slightly too roomy. Very happy with my investment.

I bought these for my teenage daughter after trying 5 other pairs of similar boots from other brands, some less expensive, and some close in price. None of them fit well or were comfortable. These boots are trendy right now, but she will were them for many years. Worth every penny (especially now that she's pretty much done growing). She loves them and wears them every chance she gets. The softer leather on the shank is very nice and helps them feel more comfortable from the first day. No stiffness. Warm, cozy, dry. Perfect. Happy girl!

These are the best pair of shoes I've ever purchased. They were already soft and felt broken in, but still felt sturdy and of quality. They are extremely comfortable and warm but not too warm. I normally wear a size 6 and the 5 was perfect for me. It can be a little tight if I wear very thick socks, but I normally wear thin to moderately thick socks.
My only annoyance is that the shoe laces I received were two different lengths.

These boots are everything I hoped for. They are warm and waterproof. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but have a wider foot so I ordered a size 7 and they are perfect! So worth the money!

I just received my bean boots today& I love them! They do run big in usually a 8.5-9 and the 9 was way to big on me, I went with a 8W and they fit great! I'm glad I was able to get the lined ones the are great!!! This is my first pair and I've wanted them for while now just never could justify paying $200 + for boots but I love them & got a really good deal on them at one of their sales. I've only worn them for a couple hours so not sure how warm they are but we have a ton of snow and my feet were really warm, I will update this again though. I've worn them once on a fairly warm day for a couple hours also and my feet were sweating.
I also wanted to mention how amazing customer service has been to me, even after sending me the wrong ones the first time on accident, the customer service lady was so amazing & nice & apologetic & helpful & expedited the correct ones to me! Very happy with my purchase and I've been told these boots lasts many years!! Hope they do bc they are just so cute and do their job so far.

These boots are great, but holy smokes - the sizing is bonkers. I rarely write reviews but I feel like it is my duty to educate the public about the sizing since I thought I had it all figure out.
It took me 3 tries to get the correct sizing despite extensive research and reading reviews. The fact that there is a note on the item description that says you may have to order up or down a size is 100% not helpful. In sum, I am typically a 9 or 9.5 with wider than average feet. Sometimes a 10 depending on the shoe. I ended up with an 8 regular and could probably even do a 7 because I still have a lot of room at the toe (with socks). I initially ordered the 9 wides which were outrageously too large. I would suggest ordering at least a full size down, but maybe even 2 sizes down.
Crazy sizing aside, I've worn these sledding in the Chicago snow and have walked in them outside for several hours - my feet have remained toasty warm and very comfortable. I've laced them so that I can just slip them on, which is super convenient. They're not bulky at all and work well if you legit need to do work in the snow or if you just want to look cute. I fully recommend these boots - you won't be disappointed.
