I bought this shirt for my son's birthday. He loves it for its warmth and softness.

Very happy with my shirt: it's nice and warm and the colors are crisp.

Great weight. My son saw this on a LL Bean TV ad and asked for it as gift. He loves it!

the material is great, v soft. I am 6'2' 275 36"sleeve and the fit (XXL Reg) was great. a little heavier than most of my other flannels, but that was what I was looking for. the only quibble I had was that I thought the pockets should be bigger - at least to securely accommodate a cell phone. other than that, I thought it was a nice product. washed up well too.

Ive been a long time fan of Beans chamois cloth shirts. I dont really need another right now, but I liked the plaid. And so its become part of my cold weather wardrobe. Good quality.

Beyond saying that this is just a wonderful shirt, I want to beg and entreat the product managers at L.L.Bean to NOT improve it. I know that there is a sense among marketing folks that things need to change with the times. Please don't listen to them! Thanks.

Got my husband his usual XL Tall for LLBean dress shirts, and its so big on him he looks like an Oompa Loompa. Hes worn it a few times while working from home because he likes the shirt itself but, Lord, Id be embarrassed to go out in public with him wearing it. And since hes worn it we cant ask to exchange. So be warned.

Worn these for years. Must have changed manufacturers. Older ones are soft with a nice flat finish after years of washing. These get fuzzy after one washing. Dont like the look.

This is my second chamois shirt.It is the best flannel shirt for comfort and warmth. Thank You LL bean

Have a couple of these shirts in the solid color. The buttons break off. I've got one shirt that's finally broken in with two buttons left and two fairly new ones that already are missing buttons that have broken off. Maybe they get brittle in the dryer. The cut in the photos looks like it's made to wear untucked. Maybe I'm old school, but I like my shirts tucked in to keep out the drafts. Had a couple of the signature shirts a few years ago with better buttons and nicer chamois, more like the old shirts that my father had. But the slim fit has no room in the shoulders and the elbows blew out in about 6 months. Would like it if Bean offered the signature chamois shirt in a regular fit that you can tuck in. Open collar, not button down, and no lining, spandex or other stuff.

Great fabric, so oft, supple and warm. Fits like a glove.

This shirt is really comfortable, and fit perfectly in accordance with the sizing chart. Very happy with this choice!

I ordered a large-sized shirt as a Christmas present for a family member, as per his wife's specific size request. But upon receiving the gift, his wife told me that the size was WAY BIGGER than the typical large size that they normally get for him from L.L.Bean. Consequently, they are having to return this item for an exchange (hopefully). :-(

True to size. Great fit. Comfortable. Well worth it.

My husband loves this shirt. He normally wears XXL so that is what I ordered this seems to run large. He decided to keep it to wear as a light weight jacket over other shirts. It is a soft heavy weight fabric and good quality.

Soft, good looking, fits well. Havent washed it yet but cold water and low dryer should do nicely.
