I have bad plantar fasciitis and need great arch support. After wearing these for less than a week, I could barely walk due to so much pain! Love the fun colors, but I will be returning these

As a new runner, it took me a while to dial in my shoes. My first wear was right into an 8 mile run. They were so comfortable, stable, and no hot spots or uncomfortable tags anywhere. I am pleasantly surprised at not needing to break them in. I look forward to using these on many Bay Area trails!

I work in retail, so am on my feet all day. This is my second pair of Hoka's. Switching off and on with my Arahi's. Love them both!

These shoes fit very well with a good arch. I am an obese woman who walks daily and goes to the gym 3x a week to regain my health. These shoes support good alignment of everything: ankles, knees, hips, and back. I have narrow feet (AA) and simply tighten the laces to make them fit well. These versions seem to have a more breathable material around the laces, which will be a god-send during the hotter months in Florida.

I use these shoes for walking 3-4 miles daily. This is my second pair of Speedgoat 5 shoes. My feet and legs feel like I could walk forever. Part of the reason I bought them is for the vibram sole. My understanding is that the Vibram soles last longer (based on my other non-Hoka walking shoes). My only complaint with these is that the Vibram is wearing after 2 months. Apparently not all Vibram soles are equal. My Clifton 9 shoes did not have Vibram and they only lasted one spring/summer season. The bottoms were worn down and cracked. So I was hoping the Vibram would last longer. It doesn't appear it will. The shoes generally, however, are the best walking shoes I've had in terms of comfort. I would recommend to a friend (and have) with the caveat that they don't last that long.

Speedgoat 5 are the very best shoes I've found for my feet! There was absolutely no break in time- they fit great from the first moment I put them on, and they feel good even at the end of the day. They are especially good for plantar fasciitis because they are Late Stage Meta Rocket (see Hoka website for details explaining Early Stage vs Late Stage)- this is vital information when trying to find good footwear.

Comfortable and comparable to 4 previous speed goats I have owned. I have not been disappointed in any of them. I do like the original ones I owned because of the tongue being different but overall extremely reliable and comfortable shoe for an overweight nurse on her feet for 12 hour shifts

I love these shoes. I've worn the Clifton, Mafate, and the Mach5 styles (throughout the last 3 years) and this is the perfect one for me. I wear them to work (healthcare) and to Orangetheory. The stability and support I get from this design is amazing. It's tricky finding good sneakers for me because I have flat feet and bow legs. I end up supinating more than pronating and these shoes somehow help me land on the middle part of my feet. I'm highly considering buying a second pair to keep as backup. The colors that have been released are also soooo good.

The sides of the shoe are stiff and cut into my ankle bone. I ordered an 8 1/2 and it felt small, so I got a 9 and it feels too big.

Great traction when going up and down trails, and very comfortable. I wore these for a 2 hour hike with no blisters or areas that rub. These are not even remotely water proof and barely water resistant. It had rained the day before so there were plenty of mud puddles and the moisture and mud went right through to the socks. If conditions are dry, then these are great. If the conditions are wet, then consider waterproof alternatives.

Super cute shoe. I ordered wide width even though I have normal size feet. Hoka's always seem to feel to tight to me. The wide width on this particular shoe is too tight across the instep. Plus they have some new type of tongue in the shoe that feels like it will rip if you pull on it to hard. Like it's made out of paper or something. It's very uncomfortable. I am returning this shoe even though it is really cute. The fit is terrible and the tongue is crazy!

Always wear Arahi for stability and arch support. Wanted to try something new. I did a double take thinking it was a man’s shoe. Toe box is weird pointy and too many seams on the instep. Shoe fit fine with stability and cushioning…sticking with Arahi

Good news: the Speedgoats cleaned up nicely after some very muddy hiking in Hawaii. Bad news: the heel cup fits strangely. It's too big and features a lumpy cushion that I think is supposed to provide stability, but my heel just slips up and down while walking or running. I ordered the same size as my Rincon's which fit great. Wish I would have tried these on ar a store before buying!
