It's a good shoe, but it's not good for people with wide feet. I really tried to ignore the pain I was getting. I was thinking that it was because it was new but after three days of using them for six hours on those three days I would come home with pain, unfortunately I will have to exchange them for the ugly wide ones! HOKA please make hiking boots or high tops for wide feet thank you! I also ignored all the reviews about them being narrow so if you have wide feet, don't ignore this!

Tongue was too short--very uncomfortable. First boot I've ever had to return because it hurt my foot out of the box. Hoka may be sliding.

These were my favorite, go-to hiking boots for years. The new design is terrible! Feel nothing like the previous models. Very stiff, too tight. Hurt both feet immediately. Will be sending them back. Don't know what to get now

Workmanship was extremely disappointing immediately upon opening the Hoka box, especially at this retail price point. Instead of rubber reinforcing the leather upper, you could see how the leather was just pieced and glued in. There were messy gaps between the leather and rubber parts. Under the sole, the tread looked impressive for traction, but again the gluing was hasty and pieces were gaping. Back on top, the eyelets around which the laces tie look like cheap plastic that will quickly loosen or break off. So it's easy to imagine multiple weak points where this hiking boot would start falling apart or allow water to leak in, even after minimal wear. Upon trying on the boots, the padding was fairly cushy, which I was seeking after recently injuring my ankle. But after walking just a few feet on a carpet with the laces strung only loosely, I could already start feeling this boot's pressure on my ankle bone. What a disappointment after seeing the terrific reviews. Seriously, think twice, don't waste your time.

I purchased these for work as I am an LEO. We often wear hiking boots on the job & I thought these would be good for me bc I love their tennis shoes so much! I've worn the boots 3 times now and they're killing my feet :( I love Hoka, but these boots just weren't for me!

I LOVE HOKA's but not this one. It was not comfortable at all for me as all the other HOKA's I have bought have been (about 6 pairs so far).

I returned these shoes. The fit was too tight so I couldn't put in my own cushioned insole which I would need because I could not really feel any difference between the cushioning in these boots an any other pair hiking boots I own. Seriously. Where is the promised plush cushion?

I bought these for my wife. She has an older version. These shoes were narrower in the toe box than the old shoes. I don't understand why Hoka does not make a wide version for women in any of their hiking boots. Women with wide feet need options too! Sadly, these had to be returned.
