Bought this for work concrete floors all day & was not comfortable or Plush at all. Hurts the ball of my feet and the back of heel catches on work concrete stairs, I've almost fallen twice from that and can't wear to work. Shoes now sit in my closet.
Disappointed,

I was so excited to receive my boots. The fit was great. However, I was so disappointed at the sole of the shoe coming loose the first time I wore the shoes.

I have 4 pair of Hokas and this was going to be an addition to my collection. They have a sizing issue as they run big. Returned them right after trying them on.

This is not like the Haka from 4 years ago. Pinchy toe box, not as much tongue room, foot no longer feels "centered" .......

The prior version of the shoe was my favorite shoe ever. First shoe where I didn't need an orthotic. The new version was narrowed and hurt my foot. There is no plan, according to customer service, to make the shoe wider. I hope they do. It's a great company.

This boot does not have a "Plush" cushioned sole. I have purchased and worn over six pair of various HOKA footwear in the last five years. I have been very satisfied until now. All previous footwear (including boots) have been true to their advertised description of "Plush". I will not recommend this boot to friends. The last HOKA boot I purchased and wore was the Stinson. It is no longer available. I don't believe HOKA offers a truly "Plush" boot currently.

This is the fourth pair of hiking boots I've had from Hoka - loved the first three (original Kaha GTX and Ancapa) but this is by far the stiffest, least padded, uncomfortable, and most expensive. I hoped they might break in since they were so stiff when new, but the toe box is tight, hard and unforgiving. The sole is also hard. Very disappointed.

I've heard a lot about the brand as a whole so I decided to give them a try. I was not happy with the support that they gave. I've had many hiking shoes and they had way more support especially for the price. The one good thing was the traction that they had provided. Overall I'm not sure that id recommend these as a great hiking shoe.

The shoe look nice but when lacing the shoe at the top I didn't care for how it fit. If the tongue was higher I would of kept them.

the color is great shoe is a bit clunky and heavy walking feels a little funny also lacing the shoe doesn't work real easy they are big and beefy I wanted to use these as a type of outdoor hiking shoe/boot maybe they would work well as runners with ankle support

The quality of the boot was great, it was just way too narrow for my foot and I wish the tongue was longer, the laces slipped over the top of it. I had to return them for a refund.

I have owned a couple of pairs of Hokas now and I love the plushness feel as I am on my feet 10 hours a day at work. I've owned the Bondin7 and Stinson mid both of which have been lifesavers for my feet. I use these reviews to determine if a shoe would be a fit for my purpose. Both previous pair out of the box were fabulous. I went with the Kaha this time for the aesthetics as they are beautiful and I love the black on black look. They delivered and were beautiful out of the both. Then tried them on and I must say the pain they caused in my arch was unbearable. I figured I had to break them in but I could not spend hours with the heel cup pain and arch pain they caused. With new shoes there should be a feel of relief. These were quite the opposite as they caused pain. These for sure are being returned and if you have flat feet like me do not buy. I'm only giving them one star because they are beautiful shoes. But functional for a 10 hour work shift they are not. Sorry Hoka but you bombed on this one

Bought one pair and they were hard as a rock. I thought maybe they needed to be broken in so I wore them for about 3 weeks. No change. Emailed customer service and they said there must be a manufacturer error because they were meant to be plush. They said send them back and they'll send another pair. Tried the same size and they were softer but nowhere near the plushness of my hoka slides or running shoes. Also, I ordered the exact same size and these are too long and too wide. Sending them back for a refund.

Why is the tongue too short? How in the world could that have been purposefully designed as such?

I am not sure who the target market is for this boot, bit its not someone with normal feet. The neck is so narrow you have to fight just to get your foot into the overly narrow interior. Cinderella could have just used this thing.
Good luck.

They now have an eye hook on the third row down instead of a eyelit like the old version. I can't tighten them as well and the eye hooks hurts my ankles. The tongue is now a newer material which slides around more and you can't tighten the laces tight like the old Kaha version. I liked the previous kaha hiking shoe and returned these for the older version
