I was expecting this boot to have the same foot bed and comfort as the Bodie line.

On several occasions the tab has gotten hooked on the hook laces and caused or almost caused me to trip and fall.
The boots are comfortable but dangerous if being used in any activity that requires foot work or speed.

I wear these for work and on a lot of wet surfaces. The original kaha did ok, the new version is like wearing roller skates no traction on wet. Also the laces were changed and now you don't have the loops to hold your laces in place. The upper is also thicker so you don't get the nice snug fit around your ankle and now on top of that your laces just roll forward and untie themselves. Overall I think that the original kaha gtx was as good as it gets the kaha 2's are a letdown.

I sent the boots back. They were too narrow. Too bad they don't make wide sizes in this model.

Boots looks great, however not as comfortable as I expected. The biggest issue for me was the shoelace loop system starting below ankle level. Boots got returned.

While the boot is extremely comfortable. The Vibram sole is not what it use to be. Very soft rubber. I wore them every day for six months and the sole was gone. Just like everything else these days. Make it cheaper to save $$$$ at the customers expense. No more Vibram soles for me!!!!

I am a shoe person, I buy a lot of nice shoes. HOKA is not a quality shoe.

Seems Hoka doesn't know how to leave a good thing alone. Not only did they raise the price but they've put out an inferior product compared to last years model. I've had mine for about a month but they're not my everyday shoes. As worn out as they are I keep wearing the old ones. The tongue on the new ones are about an inch too short. They make my feet hurt which is why I don't wear them as much. I will be returning them

These boots are a nice upgrade to the original Kaha gtx . They fit well but have about 1/4" less room in the toe box. The rating is low because the new width of the opening places the lace hooks right on the ankle bone which made them impossible for me to wear so I returned them and purchased the Kaha 2 low GTX.
I also replaced the purchase with a new pair of Kaha GTX boots

Had to return these boots because the tongue was waaaay too short making them uncomfortable and a PAIN in the butt to lace. Make the tongue longer and I'm there!

Went to Costa Rica hiked some mountains this boot was great on the incline but outright dangerous on the decline got blisters on my feet, kept slipping multiple times. No grip. This needs grippier lugs the vibram was useless...

Tthings that are not great about it, tongue is too short, hard to lace the last eyelet, and it said these had a plush feel, the only thing plush about them is when I took them off and put my feet back on the carpet sorry
Hoka but this is a swing and a miss. one of the hardest soles i have experienced. the quality of the workmanship is good, but I returned them after about a week of trying just gave up. i have a pair of Hoka Bondi 7 and love em.

The shoe is extremely comfortable, but unfortunately the bugs have not been worked out of this new design. The shoe has 5 cloth eyelets near the toe. After not even 3 months of moderate use, one of the eyelets have popped out. The threading holding it in place failed. I'm working through the warranty process, but I'm concerned that any replacement will have the same issue. At this price, I'd expect the shoe to last a good few years. Perhaps this is a one-off problem and that is what warranties are for. However, when I bought this, they were $40 cheaper! The warranty will only refund the purchase price. So now, if I do order the same, I'm out 40 more bucks!

These shoes look great, but they are very firm and uncomfortable.
I'd also recommend:

Twice now when hiking in the snow the snow sticks in the rear lug design; to the point that it becomes uncomfortable to walk on . Also not using the top lace holes, too close to the top of the boot tongue. So overall poor design. Classic Hoka comfort, but maybe they should stick with gym shoes

Boot was disappointing. Toe box was too narrow. Lace eyelets metal backing dug into ankle bones. Outside sole had a large opening at rear of shoe that collected large rocks that stuck in sole. Laces were not long enough.

These have hardly been used, wish I could attach pictures. The vibram tread is delaminating. And because I am a little over the 1 year timeline they will not warranty. Asked them if they would like to see pictures of their nearly $200 shoes sole coming off and they said no, thank you. Oh, by the way. This is my sixth pair of Hoka's.

Was very excited to get these shoes. I love them but can not wear them. The steel rivets on the top lace dig into the bone that sticks outward from my ankle.

Wore these for the first time, I ordered them 6 months ago and they were immediately put into a box as I was moving. Unpacked them and wore. Within 200 feet of walking I started to experience hip pain. After another couple hundred feet the pain became excruciating. So much that I had to remove them and return home in my socks.
I have several pairs of Hoka shoes and have never experienced any pain, discomfort or problems.

I love Hoka Bondi and especially Clifton shoes, so I ordered these. They are nothing like my others. The sizing is off entirely, the tongue is wrongly placed, and the support is simply not there. I was excited these would be the relief I needed for plantar fasciitis as leather boots are required for work, but these are a huge miss.

While very comfortable, these shoes (tread depth) haven't lasted me 3 months, and I normally get about 18 months out of my footwear. These are NOT waterproof, with the slightest bit of damp grass is all it takes to get water to soak through the fronts and get cold wet toes. And as other reviews have commented, the tongue is too short, so when you try to tighten your laces, the top where you are tieing your not slips and digs back into your skin! Hoka needs to go back to "How to make shoes 101" on this one. Could have been a great product.

Great if you're only going to walk on flat surfaces. Used for warm weather hunting. Walking through the woods, climbing, ditches, any uneven surfaces they provide basically no lateral support.
