I received my used purchase and found that the sneakers were tied and that they looked like someone returned them after they had them on. not happy and will not ever buy from your company again.

I love the comfort for being on my feet 12 hours a day three days a week. However, the inside heel area has completely worn down after less than 60 days of wear. I didn't expect it to wear so ridiculously fast and that caused large blisters and bleeding on my heels. Can't say I'll be purchasing HOKA again. For the price I expect them to last much longer.

I have many pairs of Hoka shoes and this was the first time buying the Gaviota. They felt pretty good except there wasn't enough room in the toe box. My left toes felt smashed in place. But the easy return policy was nice. I will get a different model of shoe to replace these.

Hoka's are my usual go-to because they fit my wide feet and usually have great cushioning. Not the case with these. They're not narrow, but not a great fit for wide feet. But the biggest disappointment is the cushioning, or lack thereof. The soles on these things are hard - do not give at all. Lastly, the tongue is only attached with an elastic band on one side, so it is always offset on the top of your foot. Annoying and feels strange. Very disappointing.

I love these shoes, while they're intact. After a few months the cushion around the heal rubs off. Once the cushion comes off a plastic flap sticks out and digs into your skin making the shoe unwearable. Hopefully HOKA can fix this issue. I've have had to trash 2 pairs before the 7 month mark.

Not as comfortable as New Balance. Definitely not worth the money.

This isn't Hoka's best. This shoe felt heavier and less comfortable than other stability shoes I've used, such as Saucony Guide.

I use it mostly for work. At first i was feeling pain on the outer side of my foot. I thought it would go away with breaking-in, but it never did. Same problem with my wife' latest Bondi model.

I bought this because i have pronation in my feet. Since Previous version which was normal in comfort but stable balanced my feet well i thought the new one with max comfortable would be more enjoyable while balancing , but its not right, my ankle is hurting and ill return this one.

I wanted to try the Gaviota's because of my experience with other Hokas and based on reviews. Within a week, the treads started separating. Hoka was great about the return. But now, 5 weeks after starting to wear the new Gaviotas the treads are separating again. But now it is past the return window. If I don't hear back from Hoka, I guess I will go the superglue route. I feel like the Gaviotas are not as plush as the Bondi 8s and my toes get a bit pinched in the Gaviotas. From now on, sticking with the Bondi 8 which is a fantastic shoe!

Several people I work with raved about these shoes. I am on my feet 8 hours a day. Tried wearing these shoes for 2 days. By the end of the day my feet were hurting. I will stick with my Merrill's. Would return these shoes if I hadn't worn them outside. Sizes also run a bit smaller than normal. I could probably have used a half size bigger.

Used the Show finder tool on website to find a show to supplement the Orthopedician recommended Hoka that I bought a few months ago.
It suggested Gaviata but it seems not plush enough, maybe returning this

First off I own two pair of the Gaviota 4's. That is after I wore my Gaviota 1's, 2's and 3's into the ground wearing them every single day! I bought my first pair about 5 months ago and bought a second pair in a different color a month later so that I could swap between them. The problem I'm having is the pieces of black traction rubber on the bottom of both pairs are falling off! I've had to super glue them back on a few different times but unfortunately I've completely lost some of the smaller ones.
I never had this issue with my other pairs even after solid every day use.
I'm dissapointed.

Super comfortable shoe, great for road running for about 30 miles. Then the tread started coming off. I returned them. Easy return policy, but I would expect a little more for having to return 2 pair of shoes and ending up with none. I would have expected at least to get a new pair of shoes sent to me while they were waiting on the return of the SECOND set of shoes - but nope, all I got out of customer service was too bad, you can return them. Instead of sending an impersonal email of here is the return website, they should have reached out. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is that people often throw out the 1 stars and don't read those.

Takes a foot that naturally supinates and exaggerates that motion. If you over probate, this is your shoe.
Also, I wear a 10. I had to buy an 11 to fit me.
