I needed a blanket for the couch for where my dog lays. This is a great blanket. It's thick and stays in place. Highy recommend. I had her name embroidered on and it looks really good!

Adds some comfort for our dogs who enjoy fluffing the blanket to the perfect shape so they can settle in and do some serious napping. This rugged blanket is well made and just the right style, size to go with the matching dog bed. I am happy my dogs enjoy moving it around and using it. Quality product worth the money.

This blanket is well made and has been wonderful for our new puppy. We use it in the car and in various rooms of the house to show him his "place". He loves it and so do we!

I should have ordered a bit bigger size for our 52 lb Aussie Doodle but he seeks it out because it's warm and fluffy. A great purchase.

I bought the first one when my puppy was just a few weeks old. Now that he is 3, the blanket is still holding up beautifully. My dog loves this blanket; so, I bought a second one for him.

As described. Quality fleece, canvas and construction (coming from a professional sewist). Rohnney, my welsh terrier, loves the fleece side. The medium size blanket provides ample space for her to stretch out. Embroidery is on the canvas side, so we don't see it very much.

Have several, but need another Xtra large. Please bring back that size in the tan color. They don't wear out.

This is the best dog blanket to be found anywhere, hands down. It's durable, mine have been washed hundreds of times and still in great condition. Please, please, please, bring back the Extra Large in this blanket. I use these on top of my dog beds because it's much easier to wash these than the bed itself. My dogs are large and so are their beds. I need some of the XL blankets! Please read all the other reviews. I am not the only one asking for these!

We have 2 of these, both 20+years old. They're larger than the largest here, I assume they no longer have the larger size that we have. But these absolutely last forever. In addition to dogs (and their occasional accidents)., they've had all kinds of stuff spilled on them. A toss in the washing machine and dryer and they're good as new. What a great product.

We bought this blanket for our greyhound to rest on in the back of our Tiguan. It gets a lot of use and looks nearly new even after several washings. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this so my pup would have a soft pad to lie on. She likes it! The large is a perfect size for what I wanted. It is also warm when the fleece side is up. I recommend this.

My pup loves it. It's called rugged but I use it to throw it on the bed so I cannot say if it withstands rough weather, etc. The quality is very good and I would recommend it to everyone!

This blanket is great for protecting our couch. Our pup doesn't want to chew it which was a big worry. When I've used other, less substantial, blankets that was the problem.

We came back for more of these dog blankets 10+ years later. After multiple Newfies, Labs, Bull Mastiffs and a Wolfhound ours are fraying a little. Alas, instead of the generous 50x90" size only smaller sizes are offered. Please bring back the XL!

I, too, wish you would bring back the X-large size. I have used it on my couch for years and I would like to buy another one. Everything about it is great--the fabric, designs, fleece, warmth, comfort.

As soon as we opened up this blanket, our dog (about 40 lbs, the large is the perfect size for him if he sprawls out) came and laid down on it. He'll lay down on it wherever we put it, he loves it so much! The interior lining is extremely soft and cozy to the touch. He's not a destroyer or digger, but we'll see how the blanket holds up in the wash.

...these are sturdy, comfortable dog blankets. I had one years ago that lasted several years and I expect this one will, too. Thanks, LLBean!

We have 4 cats and they love our ottoman, so this is the second one we bought to use on it as the ottoman is big and this is such a well made blanket for them. I use the other one for the window sill which faces the yard and woods. They clean beautifully and are soft to touch but firm. I am actually going to order another we like it so much and would totally recommended to friends and family.

We bought this for our last lab at least 10 years ago and are still using it with our next lab, now a year old! We have LLBean dog beds for other areas, but this is perfect for a daytime nap or a place to for her to play with a toy out from underfoot. The cats like to hang there, too! Going to order another for the car crate. Only wished it still came in darker plaids.

I bought this 14 years ago for my puppy. He passed a year ago and I am now using it for my next pup. It stands up to many many washes, holds up to digging and light chewing. Very happy with this and I wouldn't be surprised if it last me another 14 years. This 60 lb pup loves it and carries it around with him. I recommend it highly. It fits well in a crate.

I bought a dog bed that has a cover that is not removable. So I wanted something with a nice texture, thick to be a bed cover and substantial enough that the dog doesn't twist in a bunch easily. This fit the bill. Looks nice, easily washes and dries in the washing machine.
