I have two of these on my couch. My dogs love them and I am grateful for their hair catching quality and ease of laundering.

This blanket is really durable looking, and I think it will hold up well to my dog Lucy's attempts to dig a hole through it. The fleece is very soft and both my dog and cat love to lie on it.

When I opened the package and laid it on the floor, my dog picked it up and ran to his bed with it. He seems to like it a lot. Washed and dried nicely, no shrinking. Soft and well made. Very happy with this purchase.

Actually the fit is perfect for our golden retriever. We use it on our sofa and it is her spot to lay down. The flannel side is soft and furry and the canvas side protects the furniture. She always knows she can sleep there and doesn't get up unless it is there. Haven't washed it yet but the product seems quite rugged.

The stars I gave are for the older version. I've had the OLDER version of this dog blanket for YEARS, At least a decade maybe 2 and it's still like new. It lives in the back of my SUV where the pups ride. It's been washed a lot! It has survived 2 Siberian Huskies and 1 Alaskan Malamute. I wanted another one and I'm disappointed to see that available sizes are too small. My blanket is 58x44. You need to offer larger sizes. I prefer a larger size to having to buy several smaller sizes. I suspect like a lot of things these days the current blankets are not the same quality as the one I bought decades ago. I'm also disappointed with the available patterns. Mine is so cute with the paw prints. Bring back the larger size and the paw print pattern.

I was so shocked to have a dog blanket tear up so quickly I had 3 without any tears that are more than a year old! Anyway wasn't sure how to delete my bad review so I added a comment ! Wanted to give these blankets 5 stars and the service deserves 10 Stars!!

Our Dachshund sneaks his way into our bed every night and so we are glad that we have this blanket for him to sleep on. He actually stays on it throughout the night and the size is perfect for him. The style and color are compatible with our room's decor -- a minor point, but important. And yes, our Dachshund is spoiled!

We got a new car. I was able to make a quite neat "car cave" for my dog, largely centered around three of these blankets. They fold well (or not, as you need) and lay flat when you spread them out. I haven't tried washing one, tho. Ahead of the car, I purchased a couple of other dog blankets but they weren't anything as nice as these.

Bought several of the XL sized quilts for my Great Danes. They have lasted over 8 years and are still going strong. Used all day, every day. I would love to buy a couple more for outside use and laundry time. Please bring back XL!!

I bought these for my couches and chairs because we have a dog. I have since bought more for my car. They have even saved the couch from newborn messed. I will most likely purchase more for the other car. They absorb the mess (dog wet and muddy, baby everything, spilled liquid) then protect what is below, and are easily go into washer and dryer. Unlike couch and chair covers they are nice to sit on, and do not slide as much. I like the jeans material side up,y husband likes the fleece side.

I have two of these from six years ago, same fleece and cotton twill combination. I put them on top of the Theraputic beds -- it's much easier to wash the blanket than to take the bed cover on and off. These have held up great over the years. Now one of my (older) dogs has started leaking a big during the night, so I'm getting a second set for rotating through the laundry. The blankets are quilted with 2 layers of fabric, and they absorb enough to protect the bed. Great product, LLBean!

It is very soft & durable!!

I ordered a smaller size for a lab and it worked just fine. There was plenty of room for him to lie on it.

This dog blanket is the bomb! Our dog loves it and laid down on it without any hesitation. It is well made and very warm. Worth the price and I highly recommend it.

My dog loves it for a floor rest, but I also need the bigger size for the car. He'a a big boy!

This is the second of these blankets I've purchased. The first is four years old and going strong--it's the same as this but with denim on one side as opposed to canvas, and the dog and I have both been very happy with it. It's been great for putting on his fleece mat/beds in the house, which never seem to look clean after about three weeks no matter what I do. I can wash these blankets as often as needed, so they help keep his areas cleaner and more appealing. They're excellent for travel also: we bring this along in the car for trips and house stays, and he always has a comfy spot to relax and feel at home with it. I do like the double-sided aspect: the denim/twill is best for summer, the fleece great in winter. His beds are the 42" size; the XL in this is a little big for that mat, though not unmanageable, and a better size (for my 75-lb mix) when traveling; the medium fits the 42" mat perfectly. Interested to hear in other reviews that quality used to be higher, but our first blanket shows no sign of quitting after easily dozens of washes. For us, they're worth the investment for as much use and comfort as the dog gets out of them.

My cat seems to like this better then the beach towels he usually claims. A big plus for me is that it can be vacuumed.

I haven't had this for very long so I cannot attest to it's durability, yet. However, everyone in my house likes it--cats and dogs. I originally purchased this for the car, but it has ended up in the house and the dogs will actually leave their beds to lie on the fuzzy side of this blanket. It has also been incredibly handy for outdoor use. So far it washes nicely, too.

I have these in all sizes. I put them on chairs for cats,on my couch for when other critters visit and they work great on top of the dogs bed, so easy to wash!

She's a 9 month old terrible chewer but she seemed to take this as her own and show it more respect. It's become her spot on the couch. I did have to repair one spot on the edge with Gorilla tape but otherwise, so far so good. We are more than a month into it!!! Everything else has failed. I've used your dog products in the past and they've all been a cut above.

We love this blanket for our golden retriever!! We use it for covering up the car seat and also for traveling. It is very well made and extremely durable. However, PLEASE bring back the XL size. The one we have was purchased several years ago, and I frequently check to see if you have made the XL size available again. I am anxiously awaiting to buy another one when you do.

I found this item to solve a few problems: a place for the medium sized dog who likes to sleep at the foot of the bed, a great travel bed for the dog when visiting friends, a clear boundary of where he is allowed to rest (and not), and a sturdy replacement for an old blanket which kept moving around and folding up. The top is soft and the bottom has a good grip on the fabric underneath while also protecting it. It is soft but keeps its shape for dogs who like to dig around in their bedding as they get ready to sleep. It looks handsome compared to the old blanket, and the dog likes having a dedicated spot. I highly recommend the product.

We got medium in Night for our Lagotto's crate - he has a large hard-sided crate that he sleeps in at night and we wanted something soft to line the bottom for him. It isn't a perfect fit but it's a great blanket that he doesn't feel inclined to chew up. It also seems to hold up to teeth pretty well in general! We put it on his Coolaroo as well so it's a bit warmer. The fleece side works well for cold months and the cotton twill side makes sure he's not too warm in the hot months. Great product! For reference, the monogramming is on the fleece side.
