Well made dog blanket. Sturdy cotton duck fabric on one side and a soft fuzzy side on the other. My puppy chewed through to both sides. Put it away for now but love it. Trying to mend it.

The minute we put this on the couch my dog loved it. It's now her favorite spot for taking a nap.

I have 10 year old smaller one. New dog and needed another one. Why look elsewhere!

This is a perfect puppy blanket for new baby. Tough enough for his attempts to chew on it, but comfortable enough for it to be his safe zone. Highly recommend!

It's soft on the plaid side, stays in play on top of the dog bed, and is weighty enough to vacuum rather than shake out.

I purchased 2 of these over 10 yrs ago for my 2 golden retrievers and they still look like the day I bought them. They wash and wear so well. I use them all the time; in my suv, my house and especially while on vacation. They protect my suv seats and furniture whenever my dogs are wet and/or muddy. I especially like to use them when we travel w/ our pets. I use them for our dogs as their "beds." They are much more convenient to carry and our dogs lie on them like they are their spot. Today, I'm ordering 1 for both of my adult children's new puppies. I'm sure they will use and love them as much as I do. Thank you LLBean!

I have not received my purchase yet, but other reviewers lead me to expect that it will be as comfortable and functional as the two 15 year-old blankets we are using in our vehicles. They are in great condition now, as good as when first purchased, but I want another one to use on the sofa or in the dog's crate. I'm so glad LL Bean has these heavier weight dog blankets available because they stay put better than light-weight blankets. I'd love to see a green color or have the plaids match some of your flannel shirt patterns. Maybe next year?!

Dog likes it! Put it in his sleeping crate and he has not chewed it, thrown it around or become itchy.

Lots of uses for this great blanket. Washes well.

This is a wonderful blanket. Well built and comfortable for my two rascally puppies. My first blanket of this model was originally purchased about 8-10 years ago. Real good product.

I attached nylon webbing straps to wind around or loop over the headrests, and this blanket keeps the back seat clean and dry in my Honda CRV. When we visit over night, I fold it fleece-side-up into a comfy sleeping place. (As a guest in someone's home, Finn doesn't sleep on my bed.) It brushes clean easily and washes nicely in a commercial washer. (I do everything in cold or warm water, gentle cycle, NO softener, bleach or harsh detergents.) Looks new after at least 5 years.

This blanket has a sturdy canvas backing which protects my couch from being damaged by my 80 pound dog. The fleece side is very soft and will look good as new for a long time to come. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great quality blanket! I have had another one of these blankets that I have had for over 20 years for my dog and it is still in perfect condition! This one I ordered for my cat!

This is the second one of these I have ordered because the first one worked so well as a dog bed cover. First, we use the canvas side up, because it's easy to keep clean and to vacuum up dog hair. Second, it stays where you put it and lies relatively flat. Third, it launders very well. Fourth, it's very well-constructed of tough, attractive materials.

This is our 3rd quilted dog blanket. We've had 2 of them for several years and they've been used by 3 dogs. We keep one in each vehicle and one at home. They've been washed several times over the years and have been played on, rolled on and anything else dogs do. They are all still in great condition.

This Blanket is wonderful. Its well made, strong material, cleans well. Its fits my entire backseat for our dog. Protects my leather seat from dognails. It stays in place due to heavy material! Its great!

I bought this because my cat loves to sleep on top of the back cushion of my couch. The fabric of my couch makes it hard to vacuum to get all the cat hair off. It was impossible to keep the cat of the couch so decided to buy the large pet blanket so could drape over the top and also cover most of the seat cushion. Cat loves it and now sleeps on the blanket which is easy to vacuum and wash. I just got a new chair and ottoman and my other cat loves to sleep on the ottoman so I just bought another of these in a medium to place over my ottoman at night and when not in use. I keep the fleece side down as that would be harder to vacuum for cat hair I think but cat likes the fabric side just fine. Not just for dogs!

Use these on sofa and easy chair backs where our dog likes to perch...and in the back of the car - top quality and fairly priced.

Just what I needed for my living room chairs. My dog launches off the chairs when he sees dogs on tv. Real dogs, cartoon dogs, seems every medical commercial has dogs. Needless to say these work so well. Great colors. Blends in nicely, or adds to my rustic decor. They are a tad pricey for intended purpose, but after hours of searching the one that looked nice and would work. Probably really good for a dog blanket as well.

Our tri-color collie absolutely LOVES! LOVES!! LOVES!!! the dog blanket that rests on top of an LL Bean dog bed! When they have a chance to sleep on it, our two cats also love it!
