I have always had LL Bean dog beds but never splurged for the therapeutic but I am so glad I did. My Lab is 13 and has arthritis and other aches and pains of old age I'm sure. He loves his new bed and I can see how it supports his body so much better than his old bed. I truly think it has helped him feel more comfortable. Although you can wash the bed cover I put a fitted sheet over it to make it easier so I can just wash the sheet. It's become a lot of work to take the bed apart, wash and dry it.

We bought this bed in an attempt to keep our old dog from jumping on the sofa (and potentially hurting himself). Although he is still getting on the sofa, he loves laying on this bed and sometimes does choose it over the sofa when he's feeling uncertain about making the jump. It's super supportive for his old bones.
My younger dog loves it too, it has definitely become the most popular dog bed in the house.
I love that the entire cover is removable for washing, but due to the bolsters it's a bit of a pain to take it apart. I just keep a light blanket draped over it so I won't have to wash the bed as frequently.
Size medium is a great size for our 43 lb Foxhound and our 60 lb Weimaraner.

This therapeutic dog couch is so comfy that both our dog and our cat use it constantly. They love it so much that we have bought three, so they can have them in different rooms of the house. Highly recommended!

We wanted to get our pup a bed with bolsters on it and looked to LLBEAN because we know the quality is so good. We took the plunge and we're glad we did! Our 2 year old rescue, Obie, loves his bed! And we know it will last for quite awhile because it's from LLBean! Thanks!

The bed is fabulous. I could almost curl up in it myself. The cover is heavy and very sturdy. The only downside to the product is it's a little tough to get the stuffing into the bolster. The bolster is Ava's favorite thing. Because it is difficult to get on, I keep it covered with blankets that can be taken off and easily washed.

I have spent way too much money on beds that my Bullmastiff hated. He got in this bed the minute it was assembled. The XL is large enough for him and my 75 pound Labradoodle. Excellent quality and comfort for my biggest baby

Ordered this years ago and needed a second one. After much research, curious of other dog beds, I came back to LL Bean and reordered the exact same bed for a different area. Our dog Loves this bed! Very comfortable and supportive. He loves to dig in it - the bed and fabric hold up extremely well and he loves to sleep in it as well as roll over, move around - which he can do in the large giving him plenty of room - he loves the "cushions" too to prop his head up or push his head into so he feels snuggled in his bed.
Our dog is a medium 50 pound goldendoodle
Highly recommend!

We have a 70-pound Labradoodle, Murphie, who for many years enjoyed her regular L.L.Bean therapeutic bed. She got an upgrade when I got her the "couch" style therapeutic bed. She is now 11 years old and seems to enjoy snuggling in, especially when she first goes to bed at night (later she will lie off the edge). I appreciate that the cover is all-cotton denim, same as her previous L.L.Bean bed. I always keep a flannel sheet on it because it's easier to wash.

I am pleased that the dog couch is very well made, and the medium is the right size for our 35-pound dog Cleo. It was easy to assemble it, and it will last for years. I am glad that I also bought the protective pet bed liner, rectangular, for the mattress. The liner is also very well made.

I'm a first time puppy momma and I have a 10-wk old black goldendoodle named Albus...he is VERY active so when its time to crash for a nap this has become his safe, comfy space. It's very durable, was NOT difficult to put together (if you just follow instructions included), and looks nice in our space. We got the large so he can grown into it. Already tries to rest his head on the arms of his couch, even though he's still a bit small for that.

This medium-sized memory foam bolstered bed was ordered when the whole-other-dog-ago previous memory foam bolster bed finally wore out, from being regularly dug and scratched on before a good curl and collapse. THAT bed had a sheepskin fleece sleep surface, but this bed has a consistent brown denim covering over the full exterior. It looks to last much longer. It was easy to assemble, but I would recommend reading through the included instructions. The trick is in taking advantage of BOTH ends of the bolster openings, and pulling one end of each padded insert while pushing the other. So not only does OUR 50-pound-ish dog approve of this new bed, but her best friend, a much larger orange standard poodle just six months her junior, has adopted it, too, during sleepovers. So it's unanimous. Good bed.

My dog is so comfortable in this plush bed. I wish I had bought this sooner. I also wish I had bought the large size, so she could stretch out. She is a 55 pound lab mix and fits curled up in the bed, but she can't stretch out on it.

I purchased this bed mostly for the washable cover. I have 2 large labs and this bed is loved by both!! A bit on the expensive side, but worth every cent. I will likely buy another one for a different room. Holds its shape much better than the cheaper ones.

Large size fits Chuck's napping style with great comfort. He has started snoring again.
This sturdy bed should support his120 pounds for many naps to come.

My boys love their beds, so much that they have them in living area and bedroom. So durable. Mine are 4 years old with constant use and they look and feel brand new.

No other bed will compare, it's worth the extra money for the therapeutic version.

We have a medium for our two labs. They snuggle on it or take turns stretching out on it solo. We recently took down our crate and replaced it with another bolster bed. Thought we previously owned a large, but when the new bed came I realized we had a medium and I ordered a large. The large is bigger than a crib mattress but the girls love it. For reference, I'm 5'2" and I can curl up in the bed with one dog.
We bought the therapeutic mattress for our 11-year-old. It seems to have met her approval. These beds are easy to wash and reassemble. Highly recommend the couch for dogs who like to rest their heads on things.

Our dogs have enjoyed the bed. It is a little bigger than I anticipated, however this way they can stretch out when they sleep.

We are blessed to have three loving, wonderful, caring dogs: flat-coated retriever 9, golden retriever 4 and Australian Shepherd 1 1/2. The eldest is getting older and more arthritic. She LOVES this bed and it has helped her mobility and her rest--otherwise painful on a bare floor. So much so, we have TWO of these beds now, one for the upstairs and one for downstairs. When the Shepherd succeeds in chewing through the cover again, I may buy a third!! I cannot recommend this bed too highly!

It really is the best bed in the house!
We have thought about getting another one, but . . . not sure that it would make a difference. They would all wind up in the same bed regardless.

After some confusion stuffing the pillows inside the casing, we put it on the floor and our big dog hopped in for a long nap. We love it!
