I just washed, dried and reassembled this bed. We've had it for about 6 months. This bed is fantastic! Dog loves it and it is worth every penny we paid for it. We've bought several beds in the $100 range and they didn't last 6 months. Our buddy Jack is hard on a bed, but it looks like he's met his match!!

We wanted a pet bed that was durable yet easily washable. We enjoy the fact that the filling is firm enough our animals don't sink in and get lost in the bed. Our two kitties love it!

This is my 3rd or 4th pillow. I have them in multiple locations of my home. This one I just purchased for a different home I am at (business relocation). I'd never consider a different pillow for my dog!

Extremely well made, easy to assemble, and oh, so comfortable bed for our king of a pup. We chose the medium size for our 15 pound Coton de Tulear because he likes to stretch and change positions. He loves curling up in a corner for support as he sleeps with four paws up. He says his new bed is absolutely perfect.

Good size for a large dog or several small ones. Our three dogs share this bed in the family room snoozing away the day in style and comfort. This bed is tough, I mean tough in a good way. Strong fabric with matching stitching that will last years to come. It may be the only dog bed I have seen that has replacement foam available for sale. Our dogs fluff the bed with their claws a lot. They love it. Often I spy them resting their heads on the bolsters while keeping one eye open for rabbits running across the back yard. I hesitated to spend the money, we have had the cheap pet store beds and none last a year, this quality bed will last many years. People I didn't even know commented in the store as I was walking to the counter with this big dog bed that their's is still in great shape years later.

We liked it so much we brought a second one.

This dog bed is amazing! My dog has barely moved from it since purchasing. The cushion is supportive and comfortable and is great for his 12-year-old muscles. :) He has not set foot on any furniture because he loves this bed so much. The medium is great for my 45 pound dog. He can stretch out comfortably and he absolutely loves it.

I have German Shepherds that love these beds!! One of my beds is 10 years old and looks good as new. They don't loose their shape and the fabric does not fade when washing. I highly recommend these beds.

This bed is a bit expensive but well worth the money! I have been purchasing LL Bean beds for our dogs for year now and this one is superior. Our dog is going on 7 and is a big dog. He jumped right into this and loves it. The bolsters are of good quality and the egg shell bottom is great. I would highly recommend this bed

I found this to be very easy to put together. I definitely had a good experience. The package was light. When I unrolled the egg crate bottom, it was rolled so tight I didn't believe it would unroll. But within about 1 hour, the entire bed was fully uncompressed. I washed the cover first and crossed my fingers it wouldn't shrink. Washed on gentle, dried on low and all the items fit perfectly. There seems to be 'a little' waterproofing to the material, it reminded me of some of our outdoor furniture but it is still soft like a pair of jeans. I had no trouble assembling it. I have washed other dog beds and it's always an effort so my expectation may have been low. You put in the sides first, the back second, the bottom last. The instructions were clear and it was assembled in about 10-15 minutes. Bought two for my 9 year old dogs: a large for my 70# husky and a medium for my 65# Brittney. They both fit in them and they can stretch out onto their backs which they do. The husky likes the surround support. I think this will last a while. Although I do hope that the dogs outlast their beds :)

I don't usually write reviews, but after reading the negative reviews about this bed, I am ready to write. This is the best dog bed we have ever had and we have used them through many generations of dogs. We have Golden and Flat Coated Retrievers and they are bolster dogs, so they absolutely LOVE this bed. They can curl up, stretch out, hang over the edges, or lean, lean, lean. This bed is not the easiest bed to put together after washing, but we have figured out a method (inside out, side bolsters first, back bolster, right side out, memory foam) that works for us. We have noticed that the covers are "slightly" looser than they used to be and that makes reassembling them easier, too. We have other lower profile "couchlike" beds in our family room, but our dogs usually go to bed upstairs at night before we retire because these "big" beds are the best! I have one suggestion for future beds. I would like to see a cover option that would be a sturdier choice. We start our dogs out with the memory foam beds and it would be great to have a cover option for young chewing dogs or older dogs that like to nest (dig) before they lie down. Other than that, thank you for many, many years of happy dog sleep.

So impressed with the quality and comfort of this bed! I'm glad I ordered the medium size for my 85 pound dog as he usually prefers to curl up in a chair. The large would have taken up too much space. He always chewed up cheap dog beds, and hasn't even tried with this one. The denim is strong but very comfortable . I put off ordering one for years, now I wish I hadn't- well worth the $!

This is the best bed because it holds its shape. It's somewhat difficult getting the cover off to wash and then inserting the foam supports so I would suggest putting a blanket on top. I have 3 beds and I wouldn't trade for another brand. My dogs use the therapeutic bed and love it!!

Go to comfortable place for our doggie.

I have a 115-pound part Golden Retriever, part Great Pyrenees. She goes through dog beds quickly. I wanted to get something thicker to provide more support and keep her joints off the ground. She really likes being surrounded on the sides, so I went for this "couch" rather than a flat bed. Upon receiving the box, I unrolled the foam that goes on the bottom and assembled the bed with the foam and the 3 bolsters. I did think the instructions for assembly could have been a bit more user-friendly, but eventually I got it set up. The material of the bed appears quite durable. My dog likes to scratch the surface, and it doesn't appear to be affected by this. Unfortunately, at the time of purchase, the correct size of waterproof cover for the foam insert was not available. I will likely purchase the cover when it is available to avoid damage to the expensive foam. Now on to the most important part: my dog's reaction. I placed the bed under a table where her previous bed was, and she immediately went over to it and got comfortable. She absolutely loves it! She sometimes lays curled up against the sides, sometimes hangs her head over the bolster, and sometimes lays on her back with her feet straight up. The foam is very obviously comfortable and supportive for her. I see the most relaxed and peaceful expression on her face when she is laying on it. I got the size large, even though the sizing chart recommended extra-large, and I'm very glad I didn't go any bigger. The large is the perfect size for her to curl up and feel supported on 3 sides. Any larger and she wouldn't have the comforting protection provided by the bolsters. I'm so happy I made this purchase, and other than her allergy medication that keeps her from being miserable, I'd say this is the best thing I've bought for my dog!

We purchased this bed for our rescue Sheltie who scratches before she sleeps. It isn't hair proof but it is easy to clean up hair left on bed. Hope loves her bed and gladly goes to it. She is 6 years old and seems to enjoy the support. I won't say it was super easy to put together but the covering on the stuffing is much stronger than another expensive bed we bought for our collie.

Our senior boy loves this bed, we should have made this purchase years ago. Sturdy construction and the comfort level is top notch.

Our spoiled dog already has two LL Bean dog beds, and now this couch, because she likes side cushions. We love everything about it, but REALLY wish the waterproof liners were still available! I have them on both beds, but can't buy one for this couch. :-( We bought the Large for our Great Dane because she likes to curl up more than sprawl across the bed.

This is our 2nd Bean therapeutic dog couch. The first one is still going strong after many years and is my dogs' favorite place to curl up. The bolsters are great and the extra firm foam holds up even to two Golden Retrievers at once (the size is medium as I didn't expect they would both get in at the same time)! This couch is well made and so much more durable than many other brands.

Our 45-pound portuguese water dog loves his couch! There's a lot of space, so he may have been fine with a small. It looks nice.

My family owns a Newfoundland and this bed was perfect for her specially since she is prone to having bone problems. The support it gave was perfect and it's easy to clean.
