Well worth the price. Comfortable, durable, washes well. They have improved putting the cover on with the addition of inside zippers but still requires patience. My dog loves her bed!

These beds are great! They are roomy, have lots of cushion, and our dog loves the bolster around the edges. We bought this bed in an Extra large and it was huge! My dog, a lab mix, about 60 pounds, loves it so we kept it anyway. It was too big for our bedroom, where our dog sleeps at night, so we bought a size large for the bedroom. We kept the extra-large for the den. Our den is not roomy so we trip over the giant dog bed sometimes, but the bed is big enough for me and the dog to get in it together and have snuggle time. Two medium-large dogs could easily fit in it if they get along well.

Our dog loves her new bed. She can snuggle up or stretch out comfortably.

We bought the regular round LL Bean dog bed for our greyhound when we adopted him almost seven years ago. That bed is still in great shape, but the dog is older and needed something with more support. The therapeutic dog couch was just what the doctor ordered! I ordered the large couch and he fits perfectly (he's about 70 lbs, but very tall with long greyhound legs). Also, I did not find the couch hard to put together.

We have a Great Dane. She is 20 months old at the time of this review. Previously she has destroyed a number of beds so during her distractive phase, we just used various blankets in her crate. Fast forward to her being out of her crate and needing a new bed to use in our bedroom. I did lots of research and everything kept leading me back to the L.L. Bean bed. I liked the idea that I could wash the cover and it had three sides for her to lay her head on. d needing a new bed to use in our bedroom. We chose the large, for reference she is 105 pounds and shoulder height is about 32 inches, it's perfect size for her, she's very comfortable. She was sleeping on the couch every night until we got this bed She actually comes in the bedroom on her own, gets in the bed and stays there all night many times doesn't get up until after we're home from the gym. Most challenging part of the bed was putting the bolsters in because I was home alone LOL other than that loving it PS I should also say I just put it together and she came in from outside with muddy paws and immediately got on it, it cleaned right up! Highly recommend :)

I have had this for 2 years. Have an elderly dog, 75 lbs, and medium is the perfect size for him. He is very comfortable laying his head on the bolster part. Bought an extra cover. Covers wash well. A bit tricky getting covers off and back on, but very do-able.

This is the BEST dog bed that we have EVER purchased!! (We've had dogs for more than 30 years). Great quality, mattress has awesome support and......our Lab LOVES it!

Ordered this bed for our lab mix and she loves it. We put it in the sun and she lays there and naps! We have a few beds in rotation and it took her awhile to warm up to this bed, but she's on it most days now. After reading the reviews I was worried about putting it together, but it really wasn't too bad. I can see how it may be difficult to wash the cover, but it sure beats having a bed that you can't wash at all! We ordered the Medium which was a good size for our 40 lb lab mix.

I purchased the extra large therapeutic couch for my two labs, and they loved it. It is so incredibly durable and well made. After about 5 years, the bed had done its time, and we got rid of it. Since then, I decided to try some cheaper, knock off brands, and none even came close to the LLBean bed. I probably spent as much on the other beds as the XL therapeutic couch. I finally ordered a new one last week. It arrived last night, and as soon as I saw it, I was reminded about the amazing quality of this bed. My lab babies both went on it and snuggled together. It is absolutely and 100% worth every penny.

Both dogs are loving it! 65 lb lab mix and 35 lb Whoodle have plenty of room. Probably could have gotten large, but keeping the x-large!

It's a little expensive but my dog has been experiencing some hip issues every now and again, and needed to get a new dog bed anyway. I was worried he wouldn't like it but he immediately took to it and napped hard that first evening. Instructions are a little hard to read but you can figure it out easily enough, took me about 5 minutes to "assemble". The cover is durable. Definitely recommended. Bought it and received it in a few days

Quality orthopedic dog bed. Our 8 year old lab has some arthritis and was lame. We were looking for an orthopedic bed that had enough padding so he would be comfortable. Our dog loves this bed. It is extremely durable and worth the money.

We have an older dog with arthritis. This bed has helped immensely. We have had it 2+ yrs. I have washed the cover once and it is very sturdy. We put an extra blanket down to make it easier to keep clean. This bed stays permanently outdoors and has been used every day. It is our dog's night bed as well. It is in a protected veranda so doesn't receive rain or snow but does have a bit of sun fading. Our dog loves to stretch out along the bolster in warm weather and curls up in the corner in cold weather. The bolsters make her feel more secure. Our new dog will get the same bed. It is the envy of our neighbors.

One for the dog and one for the cat. They use them interchangeably and seem extremely comfortable!

Most importantly, my dog, who suffers from arthritis, loves this bed. The bed is sturdy and high quality, I also like the fact that the cushions can be replaced and it's washable

This is our second purchase of this same dog bed. We bought the medium this time because the large was larger than expected and our 60 pound dog fits just fine in both sizes. She loves these beds and they hold up very well. Worth the price!

I have a Newfoundland and Pyrenees who just LOVE this bed. I have 2 other dog beds but this is the one they choose. I purchased a bottom replacement this past Christmas on sale. They love it even more now. Thanks LL Bean, now I can stretch out in my bed.

This is her new go to bed. We put a lamb skin in it for added luxury!

Our puppy, Albus, loves his LL Bean Bed. We originally got him a different brand bed (comparable in price to the LL Bean one) but returned it after a month because he was hardly using it. It's a much different story with his LL Bean Bed! He loves to cuddle in against the raised arms and will flip right onto his back and snooze, day or night. It's become his go to spot for resting, eating treats, and bringing toys. I was very pleased with the quality of the memory foam and cover. The assembly was not hard, just follow the instruction sheet provided. Albus is a 40 lb doodle mix and we got him the medium, which is plenty big enough for him.

Great bed for dogs who like bolsters. The side bolsters and bed are structured enough that it seems like it will keep its shape but the cushion is soft enough to be very comfortable for our dog. The fabric cover also feels durable and looks good. We bought the perfect size to fit our kitchen and accommodate our 50+lb dog. It's her second favorite dog bed in the house, only because she can't really stretch out her legs completely. She does love to curl up in it though, which makes it perfect for cold winter nights. To reduce the number of times we need to wash the cover we placed blankets over the bed. It makes it soft and cozy, adds more color, and protects it from getting dirty. Would definitely buy again!

My dog uses this bed all the time and isn't always wanting to get on my bed at night. The cat seems to favor it as well!

My puppy loves this orthopedic bed. My geriatric dog is still stuck on her old bed, so the puppy has claimed this one for his own. However, it washes nicely and holds up to the frenetic and bizarre behaviors of a large puppy. He is a large (65 lbs in this picture) standard poodle and we bought the medium.

Our Lab "Remi" loves her bed. This is actually the second bed I've purchased and both have been very well constructed and have held up great. They are a little tedious to get put together, but I've found the more I take them apart for washing purposes the better I'm getting at putting them back together. They wash up great.

This bed has served us well over the years. Our GSP loves it. Easy to clean and very durable.
