I've had this bed in the past and just got a new one. Does not disappoint. My boy loved it back in the day, and now as a 12 year old arthritic boy he loves it even more, and I feel more confident he is comfortable. Highly recommend this bed. It lasts, is durable, and very comfortable.

Our 7 year old/85 pound Labrador loves this dog bed. He has two of them, one for inside the house and one for inside the garage for when he hangs out there. It is easy to put together out of the box, and easy to put back together after washing. Worth every penny.

Before I purchased this bed, I read dozens of the reviews for this dog couch. Several of the reviews complained about the couch assembly and that it took them an hour to put together with two people. It took my husband about 15 mins to assemble alone. However, my only concern: which size would be ideal for my 50 LB male corgi? I'm so glad I stuck with my decision and got the medium. His long body fits perfect! And now that he's 7 years old, I wanted to get him a bed that would be supportive for his joints and overall comfort while resting. This bed is very well made and cradles his curves. I threw on his blankets he's had since he was a puppy and he can really get comfy! He LOVES this bed!

I bought the medium in platinum with liner for my mini golden doodle puppy who will grow to 35lbs. She she is currently 5lbs and has plenty of room to grow into it. It has more durable stuffing than the other beds I looked at. I know it will last her lifetime and more. Thank you, L. L. Bean!

I bought this back in 2018 for my dogs. I had previously bought other dog beds from llbean so I knew they'd like it. It's just the right size for one dog to enjoy or two to sleep back to back. 3 of the dogs are 8 years + so I wanted them to be extra comfy. My cats also sneak in for a quick nap. Great bed!

This is the 3rd Therapeutic bed couch that I have purchased from LLBean. My dogs love their beds and I know for a fact that they are comfy. I've cuddled up with them on their beds!! The best and great for senior dogs.

We purchased this bed (large) for our older dog. Since we have it, she hasn't tried to get into our bed because she loves her own so much. She used to sleep in our bed every night. Easy to put together, sturdy material. Worth the money! Our dog loves this so much. She is 70 pounds and has plenty of room to stretch out.

We have a 140lb Great Dane. We purchased an X-large AND a large. Kept both. The Xlarge has some extra room for him, and he lays snuggly in the large. He loves both. We have had them for almost 2 years and both covers have been washed and dried at home a few times. They wash and dry great! Well worth spending the extra money for these beds. I have put them together by myself with no major problems.

Bought the med size for our 17 year old mini Dachshund. He transitioned to this new bed easily and you can tell by the way he snuggles in that that little old man is beyond comfy.... #lovemydog

I ordered the large size for my 2 yellow labs. Both have orthopedic issues. This bed is comfortable and supportive. The size is perfect for them to stretch out. Great quality.

Purchased a large bed for my 15 year old Golden Retriever. She absolutely loves it. So do I. It is very well manufactured and looks great. Clearly, it is very comfortable as Duke can't wait to jump in for a long night's sleep as well as an afternoon nap. My Pomeranian/Schipperke seems to love it as well as he enjoys sharing the bed with Duke. Great product. Kudos to LLBean. PS That's right, Duke is a female.

I have always used LLBean dog beds for our dogs. After our Lab died 15 years ago, we decided to become empty nesters. Surprise, we now have ourselves a 9 mo. old GSP. Styles & prices have changed over the years, so we went the cheaper route this time and bought from another co. Our bad. I went back to LLBean because of their beautiful & expert workmanship and bought the Therapeutic Dog Couch which will last for years to come. This bed WAS NOT difficult to put together, the zippers are heavy duty and the fabric looks & feels spectacular. Our Charley Girl laid in it before I even finished with the final step. She really loves her bed and we do too. Thanks again LLBean, it's good to be back.

It wasn't called a thereaputic Dog Couch then. Just a Premium Dog Couch. The dogs have loved it. My present dog is getting older so I chose the therapeutic option. The other couch is now in Davie's "Dog Cave" in the basment. I have the covers washed periodicaly and they stand up great. My biggest concern is that they might be discontinued someday. Don't let thet happen.

THE only bad thing is it took 3 of us to put it together

We have had several LL Bean dog beds, but I wanted this one with the pillows to help contain my dog when she sleeps at night. She loves having the buffer around the 3 sides and seems quite content with her new bed. I know some commenters said it was hard to assemble, but I did not find it hard at all. Maybe a little awkward but not difficult and it did not take long.

Have always used LLBean Couches for our previous dogs. Very happy with the therapeutic couch and will continue to use them. Ours is in the living room and matches the furniture perfectly!!!

Our dogs love this bed! They love it so much we have two upstairs and two downstairs, but sometimes they love to share it. We need the extra-large for our #Sillygiants. It is durable and comfortable for the dogs.

I had this bed for prior labs and they loved it. So when we decided to get another lab a couple years ago, this was one of the first things we bought for our new pup. I did make a mistake and bought the extra large and I finally got sick of having that one take up half the room (it's huge!) that I bought another one this week in size Large. That is the size I previously had and it's working perfectly again this time. As I age, it's getting harder to put this thing together with all the yanking and tugging but it's worth it. I did discover if you put the sides in first, there are two hidden zippers that help with the assembly. First time I've noticed that - not sure if they've been there on prior beds. Anyway, love this bed, as does my lab for when he's not on our lap or the couch! Great value as it holds up for many years. I will likely donate my XL bed to an animal shelter.

We've used the round Bean dog beds for years, but they are pretty huge. We got the bolster version ands love it. The canvas cover is easy to clean and also easy to wash. The bolsters aren't hard to get in and out. And for a 65lb dog a medium is fine, so we got away with a slightly smaller bed which frees up space.

I bought this bed for my dog when she was recovering from her first knee surgery. She was not allowed to jump and this approximated the couch she was used to spending her days and nights on. When she blew out her second knee 7 weeks later I bought a second one so I didn't have to haul this one from room to room. ( It is heavy and awkward to carry). She has spent the past three months in this bed nearly all the time ( Doctor's orders). It has saved the day. My only suggestion would be to add a handle so it can be more easily moved. Really good quality like everything LLBean.

I ordered the therapeutic dog couch to replace the LL Bean regular dog couch that had outlasted three different dogs over the last 10 years. I decided to upgrade to the therapeutic model as our dog is getting up in years, I'm glad we did. This bed base is much thicker than base model, bolsters are more supportive, cover is good quality. Here is a picture of Jethro in his new bed, the color is "burlap", the size is LARGE, Jethro is 86 lbs and stands about mid-thigh on me. This model is also lighter and easier to move when needed.

This has been the bed dog bed we've ever owned. It's virtually indestructible, easy to wash, and so comfortable. We have a 13-year-old vizsla and she loved this bed for many years. Then, when our new puppy kept stealing it we had to order a second one. All the other beds we've had have been worn and torn. This one has stood the test of time.

Previos bed was 8 years old. Only reason to replace is buying a new bed for puppy. The bed is comfortable, well made, tough, and is what I have come to expect from LLB. New bed seems exactly the same quality! Your dog will thank you! Would you want to sleep on a cheap bed? Buy this and perhaps keep arthritis waiting.
