This was a birthday gift to my sister in law. This is what here thank you note replied. Omg! I opened this blanket it was sooooo soft and then the icing on the cake, it had my name monogramed on the corner. I'm in love

I have to say I am unusually disappointed with this purchase. I have many of the Plush blankets from LLBean and this one shed and pilled up excessively. I would not recommend this throw at this quality. Only keeping because I expected quality and threw out packaging received in order to return.

Disappointed to say the least. I followed the instructions for washing and drying and it shed ALL OVER a similar blanket. I ended up tossing both out.

I waited patiently for this to arrive. It was back ordered and I figured it was worth the wait being a LL Bean product. I finally received it. I thought it felt a little thin but after all it is a throw. I put it in my washing machine and followed instructions. I put it in with a similar throw. When I removed them the grey had shed ALL OVER the other one. I put the old one in the dryer to see if I could get the fuzzies off of it. Nope. No luck. I have never been so disappointed in any purchase as much as I am with this one. UGGG.

Shedded lint balls after one wash, poor quality but felt good

The material sheds and comes off on your clothes and the furniture piece it might be on. After washing it twice it still continues to shed.

WARNING trust the reviews that say the blanket sheds! I initially bought a federal (dark) gray blanket a year ago and loved it. The review stating the manufacturer must have changed must be true because I decided I wanted a different color and bought two additional blankets (woodsmoke, a light pretty gray). I followed the washing instructions (machine wash warm, no heat dry), and maybe it's due to the lighter color that I notice it, but those blankets shed like a dog/cat hairs all over my clothes! I contacted customer service, which said it should go away if I wash it more. So I ran a lint roller over it and washed it a couple more times; made it slightly better but it still sheds. May end up having to get rid of it, it's not great. BUYER BEWARE.

Disappointed, will try to return. This is no better quality than some cheap throw from some bargain chain store, but at three times the price.

This is the softest feel! I got a robe first, and Bella the dog loved it as much as I did. We got a throw next. Then we got another throw and another robe! Such a great cuddle feel! Wicked soft! I'm happy, but really, as long as the dog is happy!

Your Throw Blanket has been my signature wedding gift for years starting back when they were made out of fleece. I make them extra special & personal by getting them monogrammed. I think I most be over 30 Throws by now. Never heard of anyone returning their gift!

This is the third blanket I own of this type. The other two performed flawlessly, for some odd reason this one piled really bad. I have no idea what is different, I wash and dry them the same way and it was shockingly disappointing. I guess maybe I got a lemon!

I took it out of the bag while wearing my LL Bean sweatpants and it shed white fibers all over them. It is also extremely light and poor quality. Will be returning it.

I own two of these throws so I bought a third. The other two I own wash and dry and are perfect, I washed this one and it piled really bad. I'm not sure why this one turned out like this but it was incredible disappointing It's a mystery to me I treated them the same.

Shredded after one wash. Left piles of fluff all over the house. Absolute junk. Both blankets pilled and shredded. Never used after washing once. Donated to local animal shelter. Save your money, go to Target.

Bought two of these blankets, a red and a blue, for our two boys, they loved them. I decided to wash them on delicate together since they were both dark colors, the blue blanket came out looking brand new, the red one shed all over the blue one and now looks like chunks are missing and parts of the blanket look crusted together.

I received this throw as a gift. If I was writing a review on how comfortable this throw is I would give it 5 stars, however, in just over 1 year of minimal use the edge has started to unravel. Since the return period is over I will continue to use it, but will not purchase a replacement for myself or as a gift. I also will not recommend this for anyone.

Blankets pilled after the first washing and shed horribly. Tried to eliminate shedding by washing a second time; shedding continued and quality of blanket deteriorated.

Very soft to the touch, but, after seven launderings, it is still shedding.i am very disappointed.

I am so sorry that I purchased this plush throw. The first time I washed it and took it out of the dryer, millions of little "pills" covered the entire thing and they were loose and got all over everything. Nothing I did could rid the item of these aggravating , messy puff balls. I'd send the darn thing back if I could.

The throw was lovely and soft, and the color was beautiful, but upon washing there were fuzz and pills all over the blanket. Great handfulls of lint came off of the dryer filter, but was still all over the blanket. Anyone using it would be covered in fuzz, as would the upholstery. We washed and dried it three times, but the fuzz was still there. I have never seen anything like it. Not all the quality I associate with LL Bean.

Over the years I have made purchases from Bean and this is the worst thing I've ever bought. The very first washing it pilled horribly and the lint got all over my clothes. I have allergies and this is very unacceptable.

I loved this product until I washed it. After following the washing instructions and using a high-efficiency machine with no agitator, the throw was covered in fuzzies. There were too many fuzzies to remove. The fuzzies were all over my sofa and clothing. Unfortunately, the throw is unusable.

I REALLY loved this blanket... until I washed it. Following the wash directions- warm water, dry with NO HEAT (seriously?) the pills are unbelievable. I picked what I could and washed 2 more times. It kept getting worse each time. I'm hoping this is a fluke? My older wicked soft fleece blankets do not do this. Perhaps it's the color, new khaki? So disappointed.....

I ordered this in the woodsmoke color as I have the smaller (large) version in green from years ago and love it. I was very disappointed though, as it did not stop majorly shedding even after washing it. I ended up returning it to the store and the clerk commented that 'they all have this blanket and no one else seemed to have this problem'. In reading through some of the reviews however, I am wondering if it is just this particular color? It also seemed thinner than the smaller version. I don't like to post negative reviews but maybe try another color if you are looking to order this blanket!

Should have read all the reviews before purchasing. The only thing "wicked" about this throw is the handfuls of polyester pile it leaves in the washer and dryer. The "plush" feel out of the package is gone after two wash cycles. Please send me a return label as I tossed the packaging expecting a quality product. I should know that the "Made in China" tag indicates the exact opposite.
