I purchased this throw last Christmas for my elderly mother. She chills easily and I thought she would like how cozy it was. It was beautiful when received but now, 6 months later, after laundering it looks old and shabby. It has pilled badly and now looks old and ready to be retired from use. The throw is a pretty shady of red and is cozy but I would not recommend to anyone due to the pilling. Ans yes, I washed and dried it as per the instructions.

Quality is not the same as the 3 brownish gray throws I ordered previously, even though the blue one is described as being the same as the others. The blue one is pilling on all the edges and feels a little thinner. The blue one does not feel as sturdy as the 3 brownish gray throws.

I bought a large green WP throw and love it so much, ordered this beautiful blue in xLarge. However, even after washings, the blue is leaving fuzz everywhere I use it, so am going to have to return to LLBEAN. (I had no problems with green?). Now I'm hesitant to order another throw ~

Bought this based on recommendation from Wirecutter. I'm using it as throw on an armchair, so it's working just fine. However it is a lot flimsier than I expected.

This is not a thick plush throw. It is pretty much like any throw you can get from a big box store. Nothing special.

I bought this throw for my boyfriend for Christmas and had it monogrammed. I purchased the XL Wicked Plush Throw in the color Woodsmoke. After having it for a month and washing it one time per the instructions, the monogram had lost much of its stitching. I have reached out to the customer service department and they are sending me a new one but just beware of the stitching if you choose the monogram option. I am hoping the next one does not have the same issue. My only other complaint about this throw is that the fuzz gets everywhere; even after being washed. But overall it is a nice, cozy blanket.

I love the size of this throw however the huge fuzz balls all over it after washing is a pain in the neck. I thought sure after 2-3 washings and dryer cycles it would have shed most of it but no. If it were not for the fuzz balls everywhere I would have given it 5 stars.

Love how soft it was but even after washing it stained my pants and left my socks pink that I had on. The color comes off in wine color. Not sure how the colors are but don't order this color. Large was perfect for me when I lay on the sofa.

I bought it in grey and deep blue. The deep blue sheds like a corgi. I only washed it once and it was all over our clothes and stuck to everything. LL Bean is a great brand so the quality was disappointing.

The blankets are shedding even after washing them.

I thought this a great throw until it shed all over my couch. Even concerned with washing it now that I cannot use it until then. Do not want little fuzz balls in the washing machine. Would return, but hoping washing it helps.

This is a lovely looking blanket and it feels so lovely and soft. I like everything about its looks and feel. However, it sheds so much it is not useable! I have done all the suggested things to reduce the shedding, but nothing has worked. So it was not a good purchase for me. I have given it over to the cats and they seem to like it.

Soft blanket, but I was super disappointed in the monogram. The blanket is so fuzzy, that the fuzz covers up the monogram. I wish the quality checking person would have said something. Or, use a very thick font. They should not even offer thin fonts for this one.

Beige color didn't match the picture.

I love this throw. It hold up well and the color always stays looking fresh. They discontinued the khaki so not there is no tan throw. It's unfortunate because tan is such a staple color and I would love to buy more. The smoke looks taupe but is very gray.

I bought this because I like the extra large Size and of course the great LL Bean quality. I love the color but unfortunately this throw sheds a lot! I have washed and dried it two times and it is still shedding. It leaves a huge amount in the lint trap of my dryer. And it leaves red fuzzies on everything. So I would not buy it again.

We have a dry winter climate here in Kansas so I experience repeated "static" charges when using this blanket. Love how soft it is but not enjoying it like I thought I would.

I was a bit disappointed with the throw. I expected more weight and a higher quality item from Bean. I love the color but it sheds a fair amount.

I absolutely loved this blanket at first, but after a few washings (and air drying) one side pilled-up and doesn't have that wonderful soft texture anymore.

I thought I would love this throw. but I don't like the khaki color and really do not like the feel of it, it's just too silky or something...I was hoping it would be like the fleece ones I bought a few Christmas's ago....I must have bought 5 of them that year....wish I had not had it monogrammed....I guess I will stick to the washable wool ones from now on.......or bring back the fleece you had a couple of years ago.

We received 3 of these for my children for Christmas. They are "wickedly plush" and very nice (even had a monogram). HOWEVER, I washed 2 of them how I would wash blankets normally (cold, medium heat in dryer) and the blanket turned into a FUZZY MESS! It didn't matter how many times I washed it or what I did the fuzz was all over clothes and the blankets themselves. I called customer service and spoke with Amanda who totally understood my plight, researched to see if there was a solution and offered a full return or replacement. She was extremely helpful! She mentioned that the washing instructions specifically said to wash in WARM and to dry with NO HEAT. I found this odd and wasn't sure it would help. So I washed the 3rd blanket (which I had not previously washed) and the blanket came out FINE! So please make sure you wash them per the instructions. I am returning the other 2 for replacements. Not quite the same quality that I ordered a couple Of years ago.

I've had this blanket for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love how soft and warm it is, but omg the shedding!!! It's worse than my dog. I don't understand how more people aren't experiencing this. I washed it prior to usefollowing the care instructions exactlyand washed it again recently to see if that would help, and spoiler, it did not. I hope it stops or else this will be going to the animal shelter.
