I was really pleased with the quality of the blanket. It was thick and very nice. I was a little disappointed in the embroidery. On an extra large blanket, it was so small that you hardly notice it at all. I think the scale/size of the letters should be larger and more noticeable.

I love this throw...best one I own. I have not washed it yet .... Hopefully will feel the same after washing......I am also hoping that after washing is will not shed any longer.....

Super cozy and the 80" length makes it so that we don't have to fight over the blanket when lounging on the couch! Love it!

Hard to review as I bought it as a Christmas gift but it is very plush and well made. Can only give it 4 stars because the true test will be after a washing. I had my grandson's name put on it and it came out great.

I purchased this throw in the color Sea Grass to match throw pillows in the color Sea Grass. The throw is good quality; however, the color is a deep green, not matching the light gray-green of the LLB throw pillows by the same color name.

I ordered the plush throw with a monogram and while I was satisfied with the throw, the monogram was very messy. It had what looked like glue stuck to the throw all around the monogram. Also, the letter "e" looked like a "C". It was hard to actually read the name.

Cozy, opaque (we use them to block the winter light that comes in the windows when we close the house for the season). They are perfect, but we preferred the brown color.

I ordered this throw in Woodsmoke, which looks like a warm, light grey. I love the color and it is absolutely soft and plushgreat quality! That being said, I do NOT recommend monogram on this. I got the Times Bold font style in Natural threading. My issue is nothing to do with the size of the letters but as another reviewer mentioned, the name is very illegible.....the monogramming sort of "sinks" into the throw and for that, I take off one star from my rating. I understand that the preview image is meant to show colors and styles of the letters, but it's very different from the actual product I received.

Nice, warm blanket. The extra large is an adequate size for a tall person. I washed mine with no issues. Follow the care instructions (wash on delicate, dry without heat). My only complaint is the antique white color looks more yellow, so I wish I had purchased a different color.

It took me awhile to get used to this throw. I have a throw that L.L.Bean seems to have discontinued the same exact soft material as this one, but not as thick (not "wicked plush"). This throw is *fat* it takes up a lot of room on furniture, when folded/stored, and in the washer. It is definitely cozy, but so is the other one I love so much. I've now gotten used to not being able to keep it on the couch at all and to fold it only once over on the bed, where it still takes up too much space and is a nuisance to get fully flat. It is too warm over a blanket at night, unless you live alone and can turn the heat way, way, way low, though not warm enough to be a blanket. It excels greatly, however, when I sit on my bed to read while not under the blanket. It's like sitting in bed without being IN bed as though it's the 19th century at 7:00 p.m. Then, when it's time to sleep, I push it down to the end and use my beloved old throw over my [Bean thermal zone fleece] blanket, as I always have. I realize how wacky I sound right now, and this is a rather cumbersome routine, but, truth be told, I have come to like cozying up under this thing. (Though I still hope L.L.Bean brings back the other one!)

The throw is nice, but the font used for monogramming is too small. It's barely noticeable on the throw. The monogram in the catalog picture is much larger. There was no option to choose a font size when I ordered.

Bought two of these several months ago to protect our living room furniture but the fabric was really slippery until they were washed a few times. Kept sliding off the furniture. Now they are just rough and pilly and shabby looking at only maybe 5 months old. Save yourself some money and buy throws that hold up better at your local discount store. These are going to an animal shelter.

I wanted to love this throw as it was so soft and cozy, but it shed too much lint even after washing and drying as directed.

Not as thick and plush as its name states. However it works well for evening TV watching.

Perfect to use in living room on colder days or as an extra throw on full size bed. Loved everything abt the large size throw until first wash. Too much fuzz /fluff, coming from the fabric now.

This throw is very nice: soft, warm, good size. But one hem is unraveling. I bought a little over a year ago, and u sed it very little the first winter. This winter, I've been using it more, but the hem is unraveling, after the deadline for return.

The color of the item is a pretty far reach of the color of the item pictured. The actual Bayside Blue is a lot lighter color and not what I expected. I even rechecked my online order to see if I selected the wrong color. Please get photo equipment that takes pictures that match the items you sell and ship. Still a good blanket, so deserves 3 stars. ,

The lower case "g" was rather unrecognizable compared to the pic shown for an m. The blanket has an odd smell. I hope it washes out. It is for my new granddaughter & LLBean usually has impeccable products.

After reading the Wirecutter recommendation, I ordered a couple of these. They are beautiful, soft and warm. I've only used one because the other is a gift, but it has shed more than any piece of cloth I've ever seen in my life. Even after picking as much off as possible, it still leaves things blue.

It is soft and fluffy and a deal for the price. Only downside is it's not a natural fabric.

The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was because it pills and my sofa turns blue and picking off the fibers is no fun.

I bought the 6080" throw a few years ago. I love it so much, I decided to buy another in a different color. It was delivered today. It isn't nearly as plush/thick as my old one. I'm really disappointed. I'm hoping that at least it doesn't shed like other reviewers'. One of many disappointments with LLBean in recent years. Higher prices, lower quality. May be time to move on.
