Well it turns out the the blankets were great, but the ordering process was a bit of a fiasco. I ordered them as holiday gifts (along with your LLBean mugs) for everyone in our office. We had them monogrammed in the color scheme to match our business cards. After several weeks of waiting for them to arrive, I received an email that the order for four of our blankets was canceled because they ran out of the color we had ordered. So, we had to select a different color for the remaining blankets and wait several more weeks. I have ordered (literally) hundreds of gifts from LLBean and this is the first time this has ever happened. I just wished they hadn't taken an order for products that were not available since this was a holiday gift for each of our clinicians. I am a loyal customer of LLBean and will continue to be. But I thought it would be helpful for you to know about this glitch so others will not have the same experience. Thanks for listening :)

beautiful color; adequate alone or added to another cover if you're really chilly

This throw is so soft and thick. A nice size in large. However, the color as displayed for Bayside Blue Heather online is not correct. It is a lighter heather blue on one side. The other side is the darker heather blue. It is ok, and not a deal-breaker, but just be aware. I will keep it. But that is why I gave it only 4 stars.

Got the large size blanket and fits my queen size bed. Very soft to the touch and keeps me warm at night.

Washed in cold water. Tons of fuzz balls. Picked them off by hand on the couch for 45 min. Expected better quality. Very soft and comfy tho

Nice item just to put over your knees. I thought it would be much heavier and better for the winter. Not bad, but I wouldn't buy again

This blanket is good but the hem came undone before even washing. Great nap blanket.

I got the larger size which I'd really recommend. Snuggly and warm. Just wished the colors matched the fleece blankets that LL Bean sells.

It's pretty. I am using it as an accent at the end of the bed. It's very thin and not warm.

Just the warmth I want, in a size that covers my legs in my recliner.

This is soft and cozy and light weight and warm I haven't had any trouble with it pilling and have washed it

About 7 or 8 years ago, I purchased an extra large throw in wood smoke and washed and dried it many times and never had a problem with fleece bits. Now, I ordered one in white and washed it after I received it and noticed lots of fleece bits/balls that I'm constantly picking off the throw and on my sheets. Very annoying! I use the extra large size as a blanket for my full-size bed - not too large and not too small. It works perfectly for me living in Florida. But now, it seems the quality isn't as good with all the shedding, so I don't think I'd order another one. I've bought fleece throws in Dillards and Marshall's over the years and never had a problem with shedding before.

This blanket is very soft and durable; however, I made the mistake of washing it for the first time with a set of sheets, and I'm still dealing with all of the lint it created. Truly, I've never seen anything like it. Follow the washing instructions, and definitely wash the blanket alone before using!! I

Exceedingly soft and plush, medium thickness, excellent size. I purchased 2 throws. We started using them right away. On first washing, about 6 inches of the bottom hem on one of them came unsewn. I have not washed them again yet.

Not quite as "Olive" as I had hoped, but soft and well made.

Nice cozy, soft, warm throw blanket. For me I would like this throw to be a little firmer so it doesn't slide off my lap and would be easier to fold up .

This throw isn't as thick or as plush as I thought it would be. It feels thin and made more cheaply than most LL Bean products. Definitely not worth the money for this item (unless there was an older version that they revert to). I didn't have any issues with it shedding, and it washed/dried just fine. It's just not impressive.

The throw was inexpensive, and the navy coordinated well with furniture in our TV room. It keeps me toasty when it is cold outside and I sit next to the window.

Very soft and color of the blanket was identical to in the photo online.Also shipping time very reasonable. However, the monogram was MUCH smaller than the online example. Would order again, but leave off the monogram.

I think the quality of the blanket is good. Extremely soft and the stitching and such is good. BUT, this thing is shedding everywhere after 1 wash. I am sure it will get better over time, but literally leaving grey fabric everywhere.

This is a lightweight and very comfortable warm throw. The large is quite large but still perfect for watching tv on a sofa or an add-on to a bed blanket. Nice color.

Excellent as a light blanket. Too thick / plush to be called a "throw", I think.

Love this plush throw, w.hich arrived just in time for the cool weather. Lost one star because it's gray rather than a shade of beige.
