I have a pair of these I bought in 2013 which are falling apart so I ordered these, but they don't fit right. They are okay through the front part of my foot (which requires a wide) but they kind of go straight back rather than tapering in a bit so they gap a lot across the mid part of my foot. They just don't look right or fit the way the old pair does, so I returned them. I also ordered a pair of Liz III - they fit like the old pair of Liz.

I wear a size 12 slim. I ordered a 12 AAA (the 4A was not available). The length was a bit short and it was too wide for my heel. I have a terrible time with heel slip on many shoes. Too bad, cute shoe.

This shoe is too narrow and too short. What happened to consistency in Trotters' sizing? It's an attractive shoe, and I ordered my usual size, and I could barely get my feet into them.

I have purchased this shoe before and it always fit properly. At 9.5 AAA they are way too big. I am going to return them after I receive another color from another distributor to see if its size is also off.

I have been wearing these shoes for more than 20 years. The black/black patent wore out in a month. In fact, the weave was loose right out of the box. I ordered another pair of the black/black patent from another vendor and had the same problem. The weave comes loose right away and goes downhill from there. This appears to be an issue specific to the patent edition. Also, the sole flakes off and little bits of black get all over the floor! I have never seen anything like this with any pair of shoes before! Trying to get the bits off the floor is very difficult. It was so bad that I took a photo. Trotters must have changed their location of their manufacturing facility. This is a different shoe from the past and not made to last. I just ordered a plain black pair. I hope they don't fall apart in 15 minutes.

the width is 3A. Also a bit too flat to be comfortable to walk in.

Since I have a few hammer toes I need shoes that are very soft and stretchy across the toes and I thought the weave in the leather would give me that, but come to find out that the front is lined with something not so stretchy, so the shoe rally hurts my hammer toes.

I wear a 9-AAAA and these shoes are way too wide. I would never be able to wear without a thick gel insert.
Very disappointed as they are sold as super slim. The same company makes another shoe, "Doris", that is much more true to AAAA. I will still have to wear an insert but it will be a thin one.

Finding wide width brown shoes has been a journey. I thought for sure this pair would work for me but
sadly I have to return them. I also bought this in black from Amazon (Zappo's was out of my size)
I got a 9 1/2 WW. My feet slide at the back and they are a bit too wide. They spread out when you
walk. I tried putting in shoe soles to make it tighter but it didn't work. My toes touch the top of the
shoe...not a bit of room which makes me think that even if the shoe had fit, that would be a problem.
It may be true to width, I'm really not sure. But if I got a smaller width, I don't think a size 9 would
work, especially due to tightness over the top of my toes

I wish I were as happy with Liz as I have been in the past. The material is now much stiffer, so the shoe is not as flexible and comfortable as it once was. There are several very stiff "threads" that stick out (I guess they're nylon) and destroy my stockings. I won't be buying Liz again.
