Too narrow for my foot, but suspect they will stretch over time; beautiful color. I needed a higher heel unfortunately!

The first day that I wore these I ended up with large blisters on both heels. I do not know when I last had blisters with new shoes. I wear a 12 or 13 medium depending on shoe style. The pair I ordered was a 13M. These shoes are quite stiff and unforgiving. Thank you to Zappos for your awesome return policy.

I was disappointed with this shoe. The bottom was not leather, not rubber...plastic? Not sure. I found very little arch support, and the W was not really wide enough for my foot. I have a wide foot and a narrow heel. Even with a size adjustment, they just had to go back, and I was sad because they are a very good looking shoe. My suggestion, in case anyone at Trotters is asking, add a leather sole and softer leather upper. It may cost a bit more, but I would gladly pay the extra price.

I like the shoes overall. It's better than a ballet flat in terms of style (loafers give a menswear swag to a girl) and has a great finish, slight shine and inner lining. But did not find them as perfect as reviews had suggested. To begin with, one of my feet fit better than the other length-wise (and this is not a usual issue for me). Thus, one of my feet will occasionally slip out. Secondly the shoe gaps width-wise when walking. One of my feet also hurt at the top on longer wear. So it's a right-left inconsistency. Last, the sole has poor grip and makes the shoe rather slippery. My hope is that it will get better with time as my foot adjusts to the shoe especially as I intend to use it as my primary shoe for running errands.

Way too narrow/tight. I ordered a half size up and was shocked that I couldn't get my foot in the shoe. I've never had to order up in width but will try that now to see if it makes a difference. It is a cute shoe though.

Ordered this shoe hoping it was as comfortable as the last Trotters I ordered. Not the case. Length was too long (ordered same size as last order) and the toe area was narrow in the width and height despite stating that they were a WW. Liked the look but very uncomfortable.

I love the leather but they were a little too manly looking. I ordered two different styles of Trotters shoes. This style shoe had to be at least one if not two sizes large. Order down for sure!

Liz a good-looking, versatile shoe. Because my first pair, in size 9.5N, were stretched out and slipping at the heel in the second season, I ordered a new pair in size 9.5S. I was very disappointed when the heels on the narrower pair were slipping at the end of the first day that I wore them. Shoes in narrow widths should have heels that are narrow enough.

Seems to run a little wider than a normal "narrow" or AA. I tried the AAA and it was too tight. Order both if you're in the narrow foot category. I like the styling.

So cute, but so narrow. I usually wear a slim and have super flat narrow foot. These were too tight. Will exchange and try again.

I bought this shoe in two colors and the purple is snugger than the red, go figure. The red is very comfortable the purple less so, if I had tried on at a store I would not have bought it. I wear its okay, the red is better but I question the durability.

I bought 4 shoes at the same time and loved this the most, the fit is great but I must question the durability. The little scale design thing is coming up on the toe already and I just wear it to the office so I'm not sure I can recommend.

I bought these in November of 2012. They're very cute and fit wonderfully. I keep these in my desk at work and don't where them anywhere but my office even though I wear them often. I could probably count the times these shoes have touched pavement on 1 hand. That said, about 6 months in the weave broke in one spot on the left shoe. Now a little over a year the weave has snapped in different places on both shoes and they've stretched. Now the flop around when I walk. As much as I like the shoe, its durability leaves something to be desired.

I bought these because they are cute, and because I can't handle a totally flat shoe; however, they are tight across the ball of my foot and over time seemed to morph into an inward shape. They were good for a while but ultimately went to the shoe graveyard.

These shoes are okay. They are not leather, and so my feet sweat. I think they run a bit big because they rub up and down on the side of my heel leaving a blister. I'm planning to donate them to charity.

I am on the fence. These are very cute and flattering shoes and would go great with a lot of outfits. But the leather is stiff and I can tell there is some 'break-in' time required. My worry is that by the time they are comfortable, the leather will appear creased or 'used'.

I have wide feet but narrow heels. I bought these in WW width. I was thrilled because they look the same as the 90's Cole-Haan flats I used to wear and love. I also liked that they are priced within my current budget and WW needs. The first time I wore these they shredded the backs of my heels. The blisters were the size of half dollars on the outsides of my feet and at the top edge of the shoes. A couple months later, and unwilling to give up, I wore them again with the same result. They just don't work for me, they're too stiff in the heel and the back of the shoe tends to be thin and fairly sharply edged. Haven't had a shoe treat me this way in a long time. Too bad.

I'm a loyal Zappos customer and have a pair of these shoes in black that I love! Since they were so comfortable when I first put the on, I thought I'd get a pair in navy and brown. How disappointed I was that the Navy looked exactly like the Black-could not tell a difference. And the brown, although the same size as the others was so narrow I could not get my foot in them ( box and shoe said M width) I might try to order brown again to see if it was just a one time defect. If the shoes are made uniformly then I'd give them 5 stars..but disappointed in my experience in ordering different colors.

Have worn this style before, but this pair didn't come up to usual standards. Right toe box squeaked. Left shoe way too tight. Zappos service? As usual, it rocks!

Love the look of this shoe and it goes well with a suit, jeans, just about anything. And so hard to find a good navy or grey shoe these days. But it's a squeeze as it runs on the narrow side and I don't have a wide foot. In fact, I'm usually looking for a more narrow fit. Length is great, as opposed to some shoes where your toe is pushing for room. I'm keeping it because I'm hoping it will stretch out as I wear it. Hope it's not a mistake because if it stretches and they ever get more colors back in stock in size 7.5, I'll order more. I may try a size up, just to see, but I think the heel is likely going to be too wide and will slip off my foot.

These shoes are very rigid and will require that you break them in. Even then they are not the most comfortable shoes. They look good though.

I'm a regular size 7 medium, but this 7 medium felt like a 6. I could barely get my foot into it. I have another pair of different style Trotters, size 7 M. Fit great, love them. Maybe this shoe was mismarked?

These shoes were a hard leather and felt very uncomfortable on my feet. I have bones sticking out and my feet hurt all the time. I wear an 8 1/2N or S or a 9 N/S and I felt the width was a little large. They are nice looking though.
