too small and ordered 1/2 size larger

Nicely made shoes; however they must run about a size smaller than what I ordered. I couldn't get my foot in it. I am returning them.

Beautiful shoe! Oh, how I wish they had felt good! But they hurt my skinny foot: scratchy heels and hard inside. The fit was very good, but the shoe had little cushioning and just hurt my foot, rubbing, scratching.

I love these shoes. I ordered the "wide" size, but they were too wide and fell off my feet. So I returned them (thank you, Zappos, for making that so easy!) and ordered the B (medium) width. I can't even get the shoes on my feet! Just beware when ordering that there is no happy "medium" between the wide size and the B size.

Black Calf is shiner in person than it looks like to me on my computer. They are nice looking shoes, but too narrow for me, and the shoe digs in to my inner ankle. Ouch! Don't think going with a wide width would solve the problem; I think it's how the shoe is made and how my foot was made! :)

Super cute shoe. Failed in the comfort factor and no arch support. I am looking for a shoe I can walk the streets of Paris, France. Did not meet my criteria.

Runs long and loose.

I absolutely LOVE!!! this shoe. It is one of the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Beautiful colors and refreshingly stylish! I have it in 5 colors. Unfortunately after 4-5 wearing each pair stretched out of shape to the point of flopping painfully on and off my foot. I am a dedicated 12W and a shoe becoming too wide is saying a lot!!

These shoes are SO PRETTY! I really wanted them to fit! Unfortunately, they were just too narrow. Granted, I have wide feet, but I ordered them in extra wide (EE/WW), and they were still narrow. This is the third model of shoe I have bought from the Trotters line, and all of them have been too narrow, so I guess the Trotters line of shoes is not good for me. I'm so thankful for Zappos! I wouldn't be able to keep looking and trying to find the right shoe if not for their generous shipping policies.

Very pretty shoe but seems to run small. The toe came to more of a point than I had anticipated so that was part of the reason it didn't fit me properly. Also, I have a very narrow foot and this shoe was too tight across the instep.

I have a high instep and found that part of the shoe a bit restrictive. The 9.5 medium also felt a little narrow, but I figured with some wear they'd loosen up. I really liked the appearance and quality, but the deal breaker for me was I found myself repeatedly having to pull up my socks, which kept working their way down under my heel. Never had this problem with other shoes.

Toe bed too narrow. Other than that a beautiful shoe. Will be sending back.

The shoes I received looked nothing like this picture. Not weaved, just smooth leather, the tops have a seam in them sectioning them off from the rest of the shoe and they look nothing like these. I think they sent me the wrong shoes. :(

These are by far the most painful, torture device shoes I have ever owned. 2 years later, I have given up on them because they still give me blisters. They were smart looking and the bone color would go with everything, but I getting older now and I refuse to hurt myself with shoes anymore. I have a normal foot... No special considerations.
