Overall a nice shoe. Needed to return for narrow size due to heel slippage.

Good looking shoe. Just didn’t fit right. Ordered a 8 2/2 SS

Again, now Trotters are all over the place when it comes to size. If you receive a pair in the traditional green and black box, you can be pretty sure they will fit as marked. No matter what the style, if they come in a plain cardboard box, they will be at least one width wider, maybe one size larger. Clearly, the new manufacturer is not following the old measurements. If you choose these shoes, order two widths and see which fits.

Sadly the slim isnt a true AAA. It's more like a N AA. I'm disappointed because this is a well made beautiful shoe.

The brown Liz Trotter's shoes are too large in the heel and slip when walking. However, they are a close enough fit that I'll buy some heel grips to compensate. The navy Liz Trotter's shoes are so small I could not even fit my foot into the shoe. The same size is marked on both pair so it's a mystery that the size difference could be so dramatic. I will have to return the blue pair.

Love the style. Too wide, not narrow like said. Still trying to modify with inserts so I can wear them. I don’t know why narrows are so difficult to find these days. Makes buying shoes difficult and certainly not fun, unless I find a pair that actually fits which is rare.

I have been wearing this model Trotter for many years. Recently I purchased two pair, the first in 91/2 M my usual size—-they felt slightly large and so wide at the back of the shoe that I had to put innersoles in the shoes to be able to wear them comfortably. But I tried again and ordered a second pair in another color in 9 M. These are only slightly better a little narrow at the front but too wide at the back Not sure if it is a change in my feet or in the sizing of Catherine shoe but I may no be able to ever buy another pair

Tight toward the front, but fit fine in the heel.

About two years ago, I ordered this shoe in an 8.5 WW and they fit perfectly. I loved them. However, ordering the same size now, I found them to be at least a half size too large and gappy on the sides. Very disappointed. I will reorder a smaller size when they come back in stock. Hoping for the same fit and comfort as my original pair.

Very cute shoe, but unfortunately fit about 1/2 size too small. Wanted to exchange it, but they were out of the next half size up.

These suckers are beautiful but tight. I think I've worn them too much to send back. But it's right at that point where a half size larger might look funny, so I kept them. These will take some patience.

Love(d) the (black) woven look & no seam on top, which is why I ordered them + other reviews saying they were slightly wider the normal & slightly narrower in the heal; I wear a medium width with a narrow heal, however these were really narrow through and through. Unfortunately they were returned, Too bad because I really like the style &look.

fit was small and top of shoe rubbed against the toes -- felt rough, even with stockings. Cute shoe, but uncomfortable.
