These are adorable, but run small and narrow. I was disappointed at the quality. The picture makes them look a lot classier than real life.

I generally have difficulty finding shoes at retail stores that fit my narrow feet so when I saw these I did not hesitate to order then in narrow size. When I received them I could barely get them on so returned them for regular width. Even regular width is snug and stiff but bearable, hope they will give some with wear. I got them in pewter which is a nice neutral color.

These shoes are initially very comfortable, but then 2 nails were coming up in the interior sole, they were replaced and the replacement pinched the top of my foot, I couldn't wear them after 4 hours.

My left shoe keeps slipping off my heel. I didn't notice it until after I wore them outside. Hopefully I can get some heel grips to solve the problem. Otherwise the shoes are very comfy. I ordered wide; maybe the left shoe was mismarked and was a WW.

I have narrow and long feet. I was hoping that these would fit, but the heel is too wide. As soon as they break in, I would be walking out of them.

I have ordered this style, Liz, in the past, in a size 8 W, which has always been comfortable. This order, however, in the same size, ran narrow. I kept the shoe hoping it will stretch, but it is uncomfortable. The next time, I will order a 2W.

This sat just a bit too high up on my foot and the leather was very stiff, so that when I walked it dug into my foot. Most people would just "break them in", but I have very sensitive feet, so back in the box they go.

Felt like slippers once I put them on so I decided to keep them. By the end of the day felt like a vice at the ball of my foot. I guess they're a little too narrow for me there. I also expected with the woven design they would loosen up, but haven't at all at the end of the third day.

I have only worn these shoes once, but expect to get some use out of them. That said, I do not love them. While they look narrow, they don't feel narrow, and I had a little trouble keeping them on my feet. Story of my life. Plus, they run a wee bit big (I always wear an 8, but I could've used a 7-1/2).

This would be a cute shoe to wear with pants. Unfortunately, for me the toe area was a little too pointy and pressed on my big toe, so I returned the shoes. If not for the fit, I liked the shoe for office wear and would have kept them.

These shoes are very beautiful. They even looked great on my size 10.5 feet, on which most shoes look like boats! (I ordered this in a 10, and it fit perfectly.) But they were extremely uncomfortable. I know from the other reviews that this is a minority view. I took them on a trip and wore them the first day, and I was in awful pain. This was strange, as I don't usually have a problem finding comfortable shoes, and I even go barefoot much of the time. Somehow these just rubbed everywhere, and the sole felt too thin and flat. I am going to try getting an insert, but I'm expecting to have to donate these.

Like the shoe, but....
I like the looks of this shoe; it looks great with jeans, slacks, and skirts. However, it stretches and is a bit difficult to keep on my foot now. I guess I'll have to wear thicker and thicker socks. My normal size is 9 1/2 AA and the length is fine, but the width stretches. I have several other Trotters, love the brand, and this will not stop me from buying Trotters again.

Very disappointed. Had to return. Absolutely no arch or support or padding. Heel is very stiff. After all the rave reviews was sad that these are not a well made shoe. I will stick with Naturalizer’s or Aerosoles.

Be warned. When Trotters says "narrow" they mean AAAA, not AA. Bleh. Otherwise, a nice shoe--although maybe not rich enough in color.

Comfortable, but disappointed -
These are great shoes; they fit well and they look neat. On the right shoe, of the pair I received, the top pulled away from the sole at the toe, the very first time I wore them. Since they've been worn, I can return them, so I need to get them repaired.

Trotter's Liz -
Shoe is true to size, but narrow is very tight. Since it is woven leather I am sure it will stretch some over time. The top inside where the leather was cut, was cut with a zig zag and can rub your foot if not flattened down completely.

I have wide feet, so that over time the shoes widen and then become slightly too wide. I think this is because of the way the shoes are made. This time I tied a medium, even though I usually buy a wide size. That did help, but it didn't totally solve the problem.

I have many of these Liz Loafers. This is my first pair "Made in India". They do not fit the same. Too short in length and too wide. My others, "Made in China" look like a nice fitting shoe. These new ones look like a slipper. I will not be buying these any more.

Beautiful shoe but my heel slides completely out of the shoe while walking! I ordered my usual size, medium width. The heel area was too loose even with socks on to take up some room, the shoe actually fell off my feet as I took a step! So disappointed
