The newer Kayanos are not reinforced and are ripping at the toes. Also padding and tongue padding are ripping. The laces are flimsy and knotting.

Bought the same size I always get, as I have worn asics for more than 8 years straight, and they were too tight from the start and the sole is uncomfortable. Not sure what's going on with these but it just don't seem to be made as well as they used to be

I still wanted the same shoe but a larger size. Unfortunately I was unable to order A 1/2 size Larger at the same price.

Not wide enough, instep too narrow and cuts off circulation. Poor support. Very uncomfortable. Will be moving on to another brand if this is what ASICS has become

Not as comfortable as the Gel nimbus 23. Would like to swap them out if possible.

I have wide & flat feet. Decided to try this "upgrade" from the GT 2000 7 because I heard Gel Kayanos are the best for flat fee and they offer it in Wide but this pair is just too bulky, heavy and not enough heel support. I'll be going back to the GT 2000's.

I love the Kayano line of Asic shoes until I purchased these shoes. The cushioning typically felt in these shoes was absent and the insoles flattened in just a week of wear. The worst problem is the collapse of the inner heel snug that ended up in a was at the bottom of the shoe causing crowding of the foot in the front. This resulted in toe cramping and rub. I was greatly disappointed with the quality knowing they were bought from the manufacturer to avoid buying a knockoff shoe. A fake shoe would probably be better than what I received.

Not as comfortable as I was hoping for being a running shoe.

Not as much cushion in the heel. I have plantar fasciitis and these did not help much with that. Other than not having good heel cushion it's a comfortable shoe

I'm not happy with the new style of the sneakers. The older models had the reinforced toe, and lasted much longer. I'm already getting a hole in the toe, and they're new. I don't recommend them

They are not as supportive as I was led to believe they were from a member of the Asics team. No break in time needed, fits true to size but not quite the stability shoe iwas hoping for.

Look good. .but too too tight, esp at the toe Pinky toe exactly...mo where near as comfortable as other types

Probably a good running shoe. The arch is much different from the GT 2000-9 which I love. In one short run I had horrible foot cramps for 3 days. Can't slam ASICS for this version but I'm not sure the description of it led me to the right shoe. I'm awaiting response about a return policy.

not as good as other asics i own. cushion lacking in heal. sneakers areived with a small indention in the mesh on the toe of both sneakers. kept them anyway but something is off with this pair. tried to add photos but review wont let me.

Shoes feel more narrow than other kayano shoes. Takes several weeks to break the shoes in so they don't feel tight.

Something is not right with these shoes. The tongue does not stay centered no matter how they are tied. They are uncomfortable across the top of the foot even when tied loosely. I've had Gel Kayano 27 for years and this version didn't work for me.

I don't think is the shoe for cross-training. My foot must have moved around a lot during weight lifting and agility movements because by the time I moved to the treadmill, I was in a lot of pain on the outside of my foot.

I am not happy with this shoe. I bought the #27 Kayano and it is very uncomfortable. I only used it about 6 times because every time I used it my foot heart and feel nondnes. I don't recommend this shoes.

They aren't like Kayanos 24 to 26. Disappointed. I've purchased last 10 years and something has changed with the support, doesn't have the same gel support.

I always loved the Kayano style and support. But this one was too narrow for a wide shoe. No difference in the width from the l medium width. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Tighter across the instep than prior versions. I cannot wear them as long and they aren't as comfortable. Huge disappointment. Will look to buy a different brand for the first time in years.

They are not as comfortable as I had hoped! I am getting blisters on both big toes. I always get Asics and do not I will buy a pair again. :(

I LOVE Gel-Kayano - best sneakers for long distance running. I just purchased Gel-Kayano 27, light blue my regular size (8.5). Sneakers do not fit well - much wider in the front than Kayano 26. I tripped few times - size down for this one.

Beautiful shoes! I loves the colors. But are not near wide enough to be called a wide width shoe! Very narrow, should actually be called Narrow Width!! Had to return for refund : (

Love these but one week of wearing them, a seam separated. Wasn't sewn correctly.
