I prefer gel-kayano 24....better quality and Nicer shape in front of the trainers. They look all squashed in the front. I would rather have Kayano 24 but they don't have them anymore.

The toe box seems wide enough, however they have felt tight on my right forefoot despite this. So far, my feet have been painfree while running short distances, however it hurts when walking greater than 2 miles.

I am sorry to say I had to send these shoes back. They were a beautiful style, but my normal size 9 ran too small. They were out of the next size up.

The shoes may be one of the best made and most luxurious running shoes I have worn. But unfortunately they where to tight around the foot which gave me pain and the occasional pins and needles in toes. Not as bouncy as nimbus 22's but a more stylish shoe.

The shoe is sturdy, but the sole is a little to tough/rigid.

the fabric over the front part presses over the toes when running / walking just as if the fabric is too short

I have worn Asics for decades, and am sad to say that the fit of this model just isn't good for my foot. I don't like the reshaped toe box, among other elements of this design (feeling narrow and tight on certain areas of my foot), and there is so little arch support. I will say that I really like the Lite-show color, which I much prefer to the other color offerings of the Gel Kayano 27. My favorite Gel Kayano was many, many versions back.

The 27s run narrow and remind me of the 24s. Had to return the shoes a d purchase a different brand. Disappointing because I have been wearing the Kayano years.

Lots of technology in this shoe - however be aware it fits a half size smaller than last years shoe! Very narrow across the toe box too. Lasts years uk12 perfect but no 12.5 offered - very frustrating!

I have several pairs of the kayano 25. I was excited to upgrade for a new pair of nursing shoes given my love for the old 25s I have that I beat down with years of 12 hour shifts. The look of the 27s is slick- however the toe box is incredibly uncomfortable and tight. It pulls and rubs when walking making it unbearable for me to ignore during a hospital shift. Unfortunately I can't return as I have already worn. Buyer beware- not the same as the previous models. Hopefully this will be modified in future pairs!

The new mesh material is interesting but the shoes got absolutely soaked within 5 minutes of running and exercising on a dewy field. The old material was more versatile.

Had to exchange. Usually with athletic shoes I order a half size up so that there is enough room in the toe box. Order a full size up.

The mesh gets damaged/used very quickly. I have had many pairs from ASICS like these and this always happens

I have been running in Kayanos for at least 12 years and have a new pair every year. The 26's I bought earlier in the year are very loose at the front, not a lot of support compared to the 25's I feel. I decided to return them, but thought I'd try the 27's first. These were not good at all for me, very firm compared with those previously used, knee pain after 2 x 5k wearing them. I have given them 3 stars because they are a well made shoe, but on a lighter note, I wouldn't give them a single star for the colour range, I don't particularly care about the colour but my wife laughs at my very dull trainers these days. Anyway, it would be nice to move the trainers on, but keep the structure of the 25's. To my mind at least the best shoes you've ever made. 5 Stars for those.

I have worn the ASIC Gel Kayano for many years and have multiple generations around the house today. I brought the 27s a few weeks ago and must say something has definitely changed for the worse. I have been experiencing a numb left foot whilst running...this has not happened before, ever. I am currently experimenting with lacing and tightening around mid section to alleviate the problem and will repost if I find a solution. ASICS make great trainers but this version is not working for me at the moment. I might consider the Nimbus 22 if it does not improve...which would be disappointing!

I found the trainer too supportive on one foot It put pressure on my right knee . I have always used the Gt-2000 but wanted something with more cushioning . I did not like the new GT2000-8 either as very wide so will have to think again. Might try the Nimbus.

They are comfortable but much more narrow than my first pair of asics. I'm hoping with time they will give a bit

They are OK - no longer the outstanding shoe that it used to be. Not sure what has changed over the last year or so. I always could depend on Asics to be the most comfortable shoe for my flat feet with bunions. Unfortunately they no longer work for me.

The soles and sides of the shoe are very uncomfortable. Too hard and pierce the side of the foot.

The top of the shoe folds over and rubs against the big toe. Very annoying happens in both pairs I bought.

The fit is wider than other Gel Kayanos, so I advise against ordering online. The insole has gone back to the overly soft ones of a few iterations ago. Not my favorites.
