The fit is wider than other Gel Kayanos, so I advise against ordering online. The insole has gone back to the overly soft ones of a few iterations ago. Not my favorites.

They were comfortable and very supportive but after working a 12 hour shift the top of my foot begins to hurt from the tongue even if I loosen them. I wish the tongue was wider for when I have to loosen them.

I've worn the Kayano 25 and 26's and they have been fantastic. I just replaced my 2 year old 26's with the 27's as my hips were starting to hurt and I felt the support had worn down. I have not found the 27's as a comfortable; they are very tight on my arch, which I believe from reading the product info, is to reduce pronation even more than the previous models. I keep using them through the discomfort but ultimately prefer the Kayano 26's.

Comfy but felt like the heel support at the back was lower and less substantial than previous gel kayano models.

I did the size chart based on what I wear in Brooks. The size that was recommended for ASICS was too small so I returned them. Otherwise they were cute.

I've been buying the Kayano's for at least 6 years and this model has one very small but uncomfortable design, the padding surrounding the laces/front ankle feels less than normal. I have been experiencing pain around my inner ankle due to the laces feeling extremely tight/pinching, even though they are not. If I want my foot to feel stabilized like normal, the laces become too tight. I never experienced this with past model's. I'm really bummed, my foot was actually bruised after walking downhill in them one day.

Have several pairs of Kayanos and they are always really comfortable. I purchased these in the same size as my others but they kill my feet. Its almost like theyre to narrow.

They seem to run a bit large. I Like the sneakers but hate the fact that I am stuck with them because I wore them. How would I know if they would be comfortable if I didn't wear them? Disappointed for the price.

I've been wearing the women's Kayan line since it's inception, always a 9.5 regular width. Could count on the fit every year a new model came out, until the 27 series. This series has an entirely different toe box that is much shorter than every other model. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I put them on and went for a run. Never has a Kayano sneaker given a blister until now. I'm afraid to go with a 10, I don't need a second pair of expensive sneakers that may or may not fit. The footbed is very comfortable, unfortunately the comfort stops there.

Too expensive for what it offers. It looks cheap. The design could be better and the padding although nice doesn't feel different from my other regular tennis shoes.

Compared to the Kayano 26, the 27 has more cushioning and they are lighter which I like. I use these with a custom orthotic due to a surgically repaired foot. I have only worn kayano since they changed the style of the nimbus after the 16s. I teach pe so I need comfortable shoes to wear since I am on my feet all day. I have tried these new ones 3 or 4 times and I am thinking about returning them. . The material on 27 is thinner and seems like it may tear more easily. The toe box On 27 is more narrow than the 26 and it feels like it is squeezing my toes. I feel like I don't have as much space at the end of my toes as I did on 26 and 25s. I always order a half size larger in running shoes. As of right now, I feel like the 26 offers more support. I may try them one more time before shipping back...I really want to like them bc they have extra cushion and I love the gray and pink.

So far I really like them. Breaking them in isn't very fun(shin splints) but that's part of breaking shoes in. I'm not sure why but the top toe part of the shoes are in dented and can't figure out why. Maybe a defect?!?! It feels weird when walking it's like the toes caves in. Other than that I do like them.

I've run in Kayano or Nimbus for years. The new Kayano design feels so far removed from the shoe that became the go to of my running gear (the 16-22 versions) While I appreciate a lighter shoe, this one feels flimsy and unstable, a less supportive feeling than the Kayano has always delivered . I also am concerned with the durability of the mostly knit upper. I guess we'll see...

There is a problem with the left toe piece digging in. I'm guessing it's a defect as I have had several pairs of ASICS and never had a problem. I can't return since I threw away the packaging before trying so I'm putting up with the discomfort. If not for that they'd be perfect.

Definitely feels different then other Gel Kayanos I have received. Not sure why. I wasn't able to return because I had worn them.

Too cushy. Need more support and arch. They don't make them like they used too. So bummed.

Loved my Gel-Keyano 26s. I wish I bought back up pairs to always have them. The 27 is very different. Should have tried them on before purchase but did not think would be too different than 26s. These give me blisters and toe box is much more narrow. Hoping I can fall back in love with next version of this shoe or find some 26s

They were comfortable for about 4 hours and then they became uncomfortable because they weren't wide enough. I haven't worn them since. Fyi I bought the wide and the insoles that came in the shoes.

I wanted to love these since I have the Gel-Kayano 25 and Gel-Kayano 26 sneakers. Why did they change the design? The toe box is long and narrow and the heel pressed up against my achilles tendon and it hurt! Yes, a pair of sneakers did that! I returned the medium width and got a wide width thinking that would do the trick. Nope! The toe box was still too long with extra room above my toes and the back heel was pressing so hard against my achilles tendon! OMG they went back too! I am disappointed. I really love my other Gel-Kayanos. I also have a GT and Gel-Venture 8 with no issues like that. Please Asics go back to the 26 design for the upper shoe! Thank you!

I bought these about two months ago, and after around one month, the heel cushion on one of the shoes had bunched up and moved. I now have very little cushion on the back of the heel and extra to one side. I submitted a claim to warranty but they said it was due to user error/misuse. I've been wearing Kayanos for over 15 years and this pair is the only version to have a defect. Very disappointed in my purchase this time around. I will search for a different shoe since I can't comfortably run in these anymore.

for these to be for overpronation, there was not enough arch support. I ended up putting my own arches in them to keep my feet and ankles from hurting.

I brought the same shoes 6 months ago other than color and it was wonderful. This shoe is too small and hurt my feet. Now someone tell me what the different is.
